Definitely go there to get their Banh xeo since that's what they're known for. Also tried their bun Rieu, also flavorful and done well, can order that if that's something you feel like! Typical Vietnamese customer service but the food came out quickly despite the busy Sunday. I recommend getting on the Yelp Waitlist early because it was a 30 minute wait on a Sunday at 12pm and their kitchen flooded. A little chaotic and they forgot one of our entrees which worked out because we ordered too much. Lots of fresh vegetables and they offer rice paper to roll your banh xeo which is neat. Very busy inside and while there is outdoor seating, you're next to the busy parking lot and street. Bun Rieu was a little too sweet but the banh xeo was very crispy. We ordered the mushroom and it was mostly bean sprouts inside. Banh beo was tasty but they put pickled veggies on it which isn't a great garnish. When I'm craving banh xeo this is my go to spot! The #7 bang xeo is always so crispy and I love that it comes with such a good amount of veggies with it. I also ordered the #6 khay thit gio heo and I loved that the pork shanks are super thin so it doesn't tast gamy at all. It also came with a good amount of veggies and the peanuts do come on the side in a small bowl which is perfect for the people that love this dish but don't like the peanuts with it. Only thing that I would note is that the veggies on both orders came out super wet. We had to remove them from the bánh xeo and onto another plate because we didn't want the bánh xeo to become soggy while we were eating. The service is quick! We were able to get our order in right when we sat down and the utensils and rice paper were brought out right away. We also didn't have to wait long for our food to come out. It's packed with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts, making every bite satisfying. The portion is huge too--one order can easily feed two people. There's usually a wait ~ but broddards is in the same shopping center so while waiting I like to go over and get spring rolls as an appetizer. I love the Banh Beo. I love Banh Xeo, but it's not that easy to find in SoCal restaurants. I was in Vietnam in March and had wonderful Banh Xeo there. On our drive back from LA, my wife and I decided to stop at Quan Mii to try their Banh Xeo. We're very happy we did! We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, the steamed rice flour cakes with shredded shrimp, and the Banh Xeo Quan Mii with pork, shrimp and squid. All the dishes were amazing! The fresh spring rolls were stuffed with fresh vegetables and fresh shrimp and were accompanied by a tangy, spicy dipping sauce. The steamed rice flour cakes with shredded shrimp were great with a soft and crunchy texture that unlocked the flavor. And the star of the meal was the Banh Xeo, as good as what I had in Vietnam in March. First, I took the rice paper and wetted it in the warm water. Then I stuffed the rice paper with the Banh Xeo (which I cut to pieces with the scissors) and the fresh, leafy vegetables and dipped the it into a wonderful sauce. Just great! I have had this place bookmarked as a "must try" and finally had an opportunity to visit! I had my baby with me so I ordered ahead for pickup so I wouldn't risk a long wait with an impatient baby. I ordered the Banh Xeo with pork, and I wanted some Thai tea that I saw on old menus posted on Yelp but it wasn't available through the online order so I'm not sure they still have it, or you just cannot order drinks for pickup. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who quickly grabbed a large bag containing my order. I hurried to my car, as it was quite windy. Upon opening the bag to reveal the delicious meal inside, I saw the food was places in an aluminum disposable tray with no top. It was just...exposed. I'm not sure this is the ideal way to package to-go orders and it should probably be inside a closed container. Moving past the packaging, the food was good and hot and fresh. The sauce was delicious! I tore a piece of the banh xeo, wrapped it with some fresh leaves, and dipped in the sauce. My order also came with a few spring roll wrappers, but these need to be dipped in water to use and I had no way to do that while eating in my car. Next time I can either eat at the restaurant or eat at home with my own setup. The banh xeo was good and crispy, but there were SO many bean sprouts inside! They are fine but I was not expecting so many. I enjoyed the food and the service. Dings for packaging and this felt like the price is a bit steep for what you get. I love the banh xeo here! Quan Mii has been around for many years and their original location is on Bolsa and Bushard. This location is newer and more spacious. My go-to is the SEAFOOD BANH XEO $22- 5 stars. It is a Vietnamese crepe made with turmeric powder. It is filled with boiled bean sprouts and fried to perfection. It is accompanied with veggies as well. They give you a stack of mini rice paper to wrap your banh xeo into rolls, and finally... dip into the fish sauce. Yummy! I also like their MI QUANG- 4.5 stars, flat rice noodles made with turmeric, pork and shrimp, in a shallow broth, served with sesame rice crackers and veggies. The banh beo Hue- 3 stars is good as well, but not the best. It is steamed rice cakes filled with minced shrimp and green onions which you dip in fish sauce. My friend had recommended this spot for banh xeos and now it's my new favorite! We ordered a banh xeo to share for the table (which was a mistake and will be ordering my own next time haha) and it got served with plenty of fresh vegetables and sauce which I loved. They also bring you spring roll wrappers to wrap it all up and customize to your own perfect bite. I think it was also a bit too crispy so it's difficult to wrap in the greens. Probably wouldn't order again, but it wasn't bad.
