Been wanting to try this place out for some time now, went over around 7pm. First thing to note, parking is not free since the restaurant is inside a hotel. Had to pay $20 by the time I left. Food was decent and good portions but slightly overpriced. The same goes with the beer. I understand that cocktails can be expensive but $9-$10 a beer is pretty high. Ambiance was relaxed. I like to use convenience because we dined here on a Friday night when we arrived from Vegas and also dined Saturday late night after a full day in Disneyland. During the first night, we had lemon pepper chicken wings with fried potato chips and a burger with fries. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked and juicy on the inside. We also got the campfire cookie, which is a must! You won't regret it. Comes with a chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream, with chocolate syrup. Wings and the campfire cookie were my favorite! Second night I had the blackened salmon. I wasn't sure what to expect since I'm picky with salmon but the blackened salmon tasted just as good, if not better than a blackened salmon in a fine dining establishment. Salmon was perfectly cooked, moist, flakey, and the blackened seasoning was on point! We had the same server both nights. It was not the fastest service, but our server was very nice. Plus we were with great company, so we were in no hurry. Ambiance was great when you're eating late night because there's not alot of people. SUMMARY: Decent food and convenient if you are staying in the Hyatt Regency Orange County FOOD: The food took a little longer than usual to come out, but that's probably because we showed up right when it opened. Our server was super nice too. We ordered the Juan's Chicken Quesadilla and the Bao Buns. The chicken quesadilla was surprisingly packed with delicious cheese and very seasoned chicken, I was impressed. The Bao buns were silky smooth with a balanced flavor profile between the pork, sauce, and pickled jalapeños. Both portions weren't too large, but decently priced at 17 and 18 dollars, respectively. Very conveniently located bar/restaurant in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Orange County. The atrium of this hotel is really nice so the seating area is really nice with a very open feeling. Give it a shot if you're staying in the hotel, but no need to travel to the hotel just for this food. read more

The service was the worst. We waited to have our orders taken & waited forever to actually get our food. Then we waited forever to get our dessert. BUT, even before our dessert was served, we were served with our check! How improper was that? And then we had to wait AGAIN for utensils after our dessert was served! And to top it all off, the food was mediocre! This was by far one of the worst experiences ever! Don't go there if you're hungry. We ordered snacks to take to our room, but there is a dine in area for your convenience. I ordered the following: -soft pretzel sticks ($10): soft pretzel sticks served with cheese fondue + ale stone ground mustard -kids chicken tenders ($8): served with fries Best take out situation - not only was it tasty, it was a good bang for your buck considering most hotel dining establishments take advantage of their guests. The pretzels were so soft and buttery - it was lathered with a garlic butter. Both the cheese fondue and ground mustard were great complements to the pretzel. And honestly, who knew ordering from the kid's menu would be the move - for $8, you get 3 pieces of chicken tenders and very many fries. This was worth its weight in gold. I am going to go right down the middle here...high points were that it is located in the hotel so need to go anywhere. Server was super nice and friendly. Food came out pretty quick but reading other reviews it can take a little bit. Not tonight and not super busy. I had wings and a Cesar salad...the high point was everything had great flavor but the prices are super high for what you get. Plus the homemade chips I had with my wings felt like left overs. Ambiance is good with an open atmosphere and plenty of tv's to watch your favorite game. I would try this place again based on being so convenient but at the prices I might look elsewhere. read more

Came down to the restaurant before 9pm. Waited 15-20 min and no one bothered greeting me or take my order. Then a table of 5 sat next to me and their order was taken within 5 min while I sat there confused. As I was just about to leave a server finally came over and asked to take my order. Oblivious and in an unapologetic manner, knew I was upset and said my order will be out in 10 min. Finally after 20 minutes I got my food....it was just a simple burger and fries. The manager needs to retrain his front of the house staff... they were all over the place and sloppy. The back of the house was slow, but the kitchen did make the burger perfect to order. The tables were not cleared and place was dirty. I just canceled my company stay for next week because of this poorly run establishment. I can find better service down the street. read more

I had a basic cheeseburger and fries and they were both very good. Daughter had their wings and fries and she is a wing fanatic and loved them. We were right in front of David and he asked his co-worker "take the order for who" his co-worker told him again " her the lady in front of you" and once again David asked "who?". Being the only lady in front of him I found this to be very disrespectful on his part. On to the food. The Buffalo Cauliflower was soggy and tasted as if they had been made and reheated. The Shrimp Pasta was super salty and cold. The only good plate was the tomato soup. Everything came out to about $100, for the taste I was supper disappointed. Service and food were both bad. Was staying at the Hyatt w/ multiple families that week, while visiting Disneyland. We decided to grab a drink downstairs on Thursday, Jan 5, 2023. Tamara was our bartender and she was AMAZING, attentive, and gave great customer service. A server, (blonde hair, maybe in her 30's or 40's), bumps into my friend, who was also staying at the Hyatt w/ his family, while making her way to the kitchen. My friend was standing at the bar and because she bumped into him, she dropped her trays and broke some dishes. She gives my friend a very condescending look and then states "you were in my way!" Being that our party ALL came from the service industry, maybe she could've said, "right behind you!", "excuse me", "corner", etc.? I then tell my friend that maybe she's having a bad day and to not let that little altercation ruin our last night as a group...and then we hear her talking to her co-worker and referencing him as "a piece of sh*t". We even let that slide and chose to not let that ruin our last night. After 30 minutes passed, we still see her talking to her co-worker about the situation while giving us very rude looks. Since Tamara is great, she later apologizes for her colleague's rude behavior. Management, if you're reading this, please reference the camera footage from 11pm on January 5, 2023. I will also be posting this on Tripadvisor, other review sites, and send to corporate. We will bring our thousands of dollars to another hotel next time we plan a vacation w/ multiple families. read more

Sat by the bar for some appetizers and drinks with my coworkers. I got to try a specialty beer that had a hint of watermelon. It was very crisp and had a nice fruity undertone. We ordered the pretzel bites, ahi poke nachos, calamari, and caprese for appetizers. I loved the white cheese dip that came out with the pretzels. The nachos had a lot of flavor in each bite but the wonton chips got soggy quickly. The calamari came out on a huge plate and were really tasty with the lemon aioli dip. Afterwards we got the apple tart and molten chocolate cake with raspberry compote. The portion of molten cake was rather small, but with the level of sweetness it was probably best to keep myself under control. The tart had a nice crispness. Both dishes came with lovely scoops of ice cream. Service was great, especially since we were the only ones there. Overall, I'd definitely eat here again if I stayed at the Hyatt Regency again. read more

I ordered the buffalo wings and asked for extra crispy...I believe the "chef" added an extra minute on the microwave..seriously. Could only stomach to eat a couple of wings, and still hungry, I ordered the quesadilla...who doesn't know how to cook a quesadilla...OCB doesn't..really??? Who screws up a quesadilla ..they do...the hotel is nice but I recommend you eat elsewhere..my pillows better be fluffy. read more

The beer was cold and the chicken quesadillas were good. The bartender was quick although a bit frustrating that she was not able to change the channel on the TV. first off, the ambience of this restaurant was great, when checking into the "Hyatt" this restaurant was located directly across from the check in center. When I first put my eyes upon this establishment I knew for a fact I wanted to dine here before my checkout. So, when it came time to eat here, it started great. Me and my party of three waited about 5 minutes before being greeted by our hostess. We ordered our drinks and within a span of 10 minutes they arrived. They were ok, your run of the mill fountain drinks. I ordered a coke, but was met with a pepsi. Usually when Coke is not an option at ones facility they let you know if that it is alright. But, our server did not ask me and I unexpectedly received a pepsi. Then we ordered our food, I ordered the "The Classic Californian Burger" I had a special request of just lettuce tomato and pickles on my serving. Also, the hostess came out mid preparation and made sure I did not want cheese on my burger. When they served it to me, cheese was awaiting my very hungry mouth. The food was below expectations, meat was dry and the lettuce was overdue. Now, it was a good experience but these are just the major flaws I have pointed out. I am not saying in any way that this is a bad establishment or that the servers are not good at there job. I am just acknowledging the flaws of my meal and experience to help upcoming customers on what to expect at the OC Brewhouse. 3 stars. read more

Food was great...service...just so so. I dined here while staying at the Regency Hotel on our last visit to Disneyland in December. I was around eight months pregnant at the time. I dined here myself this evening while my husband was at Disneyland with our son. Service was extremely un attentive in the beginning, hence the one less star. Had to hunt down my server several times while encountering a really rude server that worked at the bar ( won't get into details) but the service ended up an overall good experience at the end and they ended up accommodating me for my less than desirable experience. They have an extremely appealing, hearty, craft style menu. So being eight months pregnant, I decided to take full advantage of my only time to splurge on this hearty stuff. I ordered one of their craft burgers. It comes with your choice of a side and I went with the carb loaded fries :) Everything tasted fantastic! The burger was savory and flavorful to a T. and the fries were excellent. Needless to say, this mama enjoyed every hearty, fat filled bite. And being I had a little issue with the service earlier, I was offered a complimentary choice of a dessert. I wasn't in the mood for the desert at the moment, so I requested to have it just brought up to my room later, which they were able to fulfill :) I ended of getting the fried cheesecake ...mmhmm. I called downstairs later to have it delivered to our room, and not only was it presented decadently, it was incredibly good. Overall, aside from some of the crappy service Ivreceived in the beginning, If I were to stay at this hotel again, I would give it another shot because of the decent food. read more

I went here after arriving the the Hyatt Regency for a conference. I saw this restaurant and notice that they had some gluten free offerings. My waiter was nice to me. He didn't know that they had a cider in a bottle. And I ordered one of the two items available to me. Had I not eaten when I arrived, I would have been very disappointed. I'm gluten intolerant and carried food on the plane for me to eat. I'm glad I could partake of that. Because of that I was not as hungry and I would have been, had I not eaten. So the sad leaning salad that arrived, wasn't as disappointing as it could have been. Paired with my cider, which my waiter learned about after some pushback from me (I'd read the menu), it was an OK meal for my first night in town. read more
