Not much to say... We ordered a to-go order of ice cream, sorbet, bread pudding and brownie Sunday. Mango sorbet was more of ice with mango flavor. Mango was the only flavor available. Bread pudding was "good" my husband said Brownie sundae is served as a brownie separate from the ice cream. Brownie was served hot but didn't taste fresh. Vanilla ice cream was the only flavor. It was vanilla ice cream. When I first walked up there was one other person waiting. We waited for quite awhile before the hostess came up which was weird. I had to take my son to the bathroom, and when I came back the other guy was still waiting for someone to come up. After I ordered, I didn't see the hostess again. About 20 min later someone else came up to bring me the bag. It was not busy in the restaurant. I can't speak to the actual food. I'm taking off a star because I felt the wait was totally unnecessary from the hostess. read more

Super disappointed in the service (did not eat at this restaurant or drink at the bar). I arrived at the bar about 10 minutes before 10:00 pm hoping to grab a drink to take to my room, but there was no bartender at the bar or anywhere in sight. Two bartenders finally showed up around 9:55 pm and told me that last call had been at 9:40 pm and that they could not serve me. That may be their policy, but it was frustrating given that the bar had been unattended, and the explanation came across as more dismissive than service-oriented. To add to the confusion, two guests sitting at the bar mentioned they had been served drinks just a few minutes before 10:00 pm the night prior. For a hotel restaurant, where guests reasonably expect a certain level of hospitality, this was disappointing. I was hoping this might be a bit of a hidden gem (a place to grab a drink with friends) but based on this experience, I'm not convinced. The lack of service may explain why the restaurant was mostly empty all day. read more

Had a great experience at the bar. We went in to redeem our free drink vouchers good for a couple cocktails. They had a 2 cocktails options and a lavender mocktail also. We naturally got one of each cocktail. They were pre-batched and pretty boozy, and a nice welcome from the hotel. Pretty basic presentation since they were free, but others who ordered and paid got some cute Cucumber Mickey ears on theirs and a larger pour, but honestly no complaints for the free bevvie. We also ordered a local hazy IPA which was good, and a strawberry cocktail with egg white that was too easy to drink down. Def worth a visit if staying in the hotel. read more

My husband and I stayed here on our recent trip to Disneyland. Valencia's is inside of the Viv. We decided to drop by for some appetizers and some drinks. My husband and I are on a pretty strict diet right now. Otherwise we would've tried something else. We ordered the Mocktail the guacamole with chips, and the chicharrones. The guacamole and the chips were OK. I will say that it was just smashed avocado with some lime. The cicerones had an OK flavor, but they were really crunchy. We were scared we were going to hurt our teeth. Luckily, the mock tails were really good! They kind of tasted like an alcohol, free margarita. We went around dinner time and it was pretty busy with a bunch of people grabbing drinks. The service was great. read more

Reduce your expectations We ate a late lunch. The causal vibe of the restaurant is nice but the reality of teen travel teams running around unsupervised took away from the ambiance. Chaperones were enjoying their drinks and pretty checked out. Service was friendly. Timing of service was slow. We were the only active guests in the restaurant and it took more than 10mins from the time we were seated for the single server to come over. It appears the server is also tasked with the pool area for drinks. We ordered tacos and the kitchen took about 20mins to get those out. Tacos were street style but with only one corn tortilla under each--this means they fall apart and you are eating them with a fork. We were guests at the hotel and had a food credit to use otherwise we would not have chosen to eat there. read more

This review has nothing to do with their food as we never got that far. The review is for the management and their staff so hopefully they can take some tough criticism and be better. I understand that there are events at the restaurant and need to cancel reservations but it is not acceptable to do it the day prior! I mean, did you book the corporate event the day before as well?? And you had so many reservations that you couldn't call to notify? The standard app notification message is not okay! I mean have some common sense. And so few people show up cause they missed the app notification. At least show some professionalism and handle your employees to show some empathy. Management insisted that they want to make it right for this mishap and I had hopes but can't even do that right. Not interested at this point. Just have really low expectation when you go but obviously my recommendation is to go elsewhere. Cease salad was wet as if it had just been washed and not dried before being dressed. I prefer a crisp salad. The flatbread pizza was not crispy on the bottom and not very warm when it came out. Seems like the experience here at Valencia's is very mixed. Our experience with the employees was very good and the food was tasty. There are a lot of kids here, but that is to be expected when the hotel is only a couple miles away from Disney and it caters to Disney guests. The lobby has Disney decorations all over and our kids had a great time looking at everything. We had the free breakfast provided through our status with Marriott so I can't comment on the price. but would have been happy to pay for the meal we ate. read more

Service was a little slow but still nice and efficient overall. Menu is a 1 pager very basic American food. I will say for a hotel restaurant prices aren't too crazy. We ordered the quesadilla with chicken and the nachos. Nachos really had more chips then anything else. Quesadilla wasn't bad at all. You may validate your parking at the front desk which is good because you don't have to pay for parking but bad because you need to wait in line if it's busy to get it validated. read more

Pretty much what you would expect from a restaurant in a hotel. This particular restaurant is located on the ground floor of The Viv hotel. The aesthetic is nice and it is quite clean. But the downfall ultimately is the food. My friends and I were looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch. The menu certainly looks good but pictures online showed something quite different. Small and disappointing presentation. I ended up getting the chicken tacos. There was overall good flavor but the tacos were small and quite greasy. There was nothing on the tacos except for a few pickled onions and some salsa. The salsa was not a normal salsa. It was quite dark, oily, and very salty. I just wanted something fresh on my taco or at least on the side and I didn't get that. If you need a quick bite, this place will do. But I would think about a different restaurant in the area if you are looking for a nice place to sit down for a meal. read more

Was out here for a basketball tournament and order some food the bartender was inside and I wanted to eat outside and she was awesome I forgot her name very nice and sweet she took care of me and was prompt with food and check in on me and refilled my drinks promptly. Spaghetti - flavorless, needed seasoning Alfredo - chicken looked and tasted old Salmon - meh (edible), needed salt and pepper, fried rice did not look or taste like fried rice Spinach artichoke dip - dip was incredibly stringy and hard to chew (had to remove several bites because the artichoke was too hard), chips were good Egg rolls - came out of a box, edible but not good Caesar w/ shrimp - only half decent item on the menu, could eat again The venue is beautiful but very deceiving. One of the five entrees our party was completely forgotten about. after the other four people were about halfway done, the server finally reappeared to ask how everything was. reminder her about the missing dish. they got it out in about 10 minutes. other parts of order were also wrong. Food quality was mediocre-certainly did not match with the price. the new york strip was better than denny's, but probably not as good as what you could do for yourself at home. minimally seasoned (although still overly salty). the mushrooms and potatoes it came with had enough salt to put a normal person into congestive heart failure. read more

We visited this restaurant 4 times during our stay, each time hoping it'd been off day or isolated instance. This place has ZERO service standards. Other than the majority of the servers literally being dark haired females with poor attitudes, I can't see that any other metric is being used in their employment. Either the host staff doesn't have any idea how to seat a room, or the wait staff is so petty they openly argue over who's taking which tables. They also seated us and our toddler, not once but twice at barstool seating, which is not only inconvenient but dangerous and shows a lack of care. There were PLENTY of other options, which I'll point out by attaching a picture of ALL the unused tables. No one looks happy to be here, which is an attitude that clearly has spread to the kitchen because the food is mediocre at best. Again, we tried over half the menu, hoping to find somewhere they might shine. Most items are bland and unexciting to the palate. Go ahead and skip the Guacamole & Chips it's laughable. The Garlic Fried Rice is odd, but not horrible. The flatbreads were all uncooked in the center and lacked any level of sophistication. Nothing on the breakfast menu would bring us back in, however the Huevos Rancheros were the most apetizing option, with the pancakes being a too close second. Skip anything with the breakfast potatoes they were gross and cold both mornings. Also, avoid ordering iced coffee. It was hot coffee poured over ice, which, as much as I appreciated the effort... is not the same thing and is too diluted to be delicious. This is a one star review, up until now......but DANTE earned them back a star all on his own, and if I was writing this purely based on his service and ability to connect with a table (that wasn't even his) he'd get 5 stars. We watched as he bussed other servers tables and helped out where he was needed. Thank you Dante (Nic) for chatting with my children, for sending them over ice cream when you noticed their meal was inedible, and for being the only individual to make us feel seen and welcome at this restaurant. read more

We came in our first night staying at the hotel. Love the decor and vibe. It's located on the first floor right next to the pool. We had a few glasses of wine while the kids were swimming and when they were done we went in for dinner. The kids had pasta Fettuccine Alfredo pasta, flatbread pizzas and the loaded Mac and cheese ( the favorite of everyone) which they enjoyed! The adults had Fish Tacos, Cesar Salad with chicken, and Roasted chicken with Risotto with a few bottles of red wine Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. No host or wait staff answered the phone reservation line during various times around 6pm (dinner time). So, my family decided to stroll downstairs in case they were just simply busy. To our surprise, there was only one other customer seated and numerous open seats. Again, no staff was available so we sat in the the hotel waiting area for about 25 minutes. We were going to find another place to eat but a host arrived. We ordered several appetizers and entrees. Entree items did not arrive at the same time and took over 45 minutes. Food was not so good. The tacos were cold and unfortunately soggy. The burger was plain. Also unfortunately two of my family members had minor food poisoning about 30 minutes after we ate. We were very disheartened because we planned to go to Disneyland the next morning. For a nearly $200 meal for 6 people I am disappointed. My family and I will not return. read more

Just in case you didn't know, this restaurant is located inside (ground level) of the Viv Hotel. I would describe the menu as Modern Mexican. I ordered the Hangar Steak w/eggs, absolutely delicious! My dad ordered the Huevos Rancheros which were tasty. The coffee was by Lavazza, which we enjoy to be medium to strong. Our server was delightful and attentive. Dante was the best service we've had in a long time. We regularly enjoy the pool here at the Viv hotel in Anaheim right up the street from Disneyland resort. We book it on Resort Pass but you can also enjoy great room rates on the BonVoy app. We enjoyed a steak quesadilla and their cheeseburger was on point! We also enjoyed a couple of Cadillac Margaritas and the kids polished off a fudge brownie with ice cream for dessert. The whole ambiance at the Viv is just exceptional and we can't wait to come back to see Dante and the crew here. On most nights the rooftop "Top of the V" is the best destination for Disneyland fireworks and be sure to try their amazing Seafood entrees. The Paella can't be beat. Huge shouts to the Marriott group for bringing such an amazing resort to our hometown. read more
