So far so good! My wife and I were looking to train our Pomeranian Maui, who hasn't been properly socialized yet. Every time Maui sees another dog when out, he barks nonstop at them! We looked into local dog trainers and came across the OC Pup Scouts here on Yelp. I got in contact with Mike and told him what was going on. He recommended to have Maui go on a pack walk with some other dogs to solve the issues we were having with Maui. The next day Mike came by with two gorgeous Boxers, and walked around our neighborhood with Maui. At first Maui was nervous but by the end of the first session you could tell he was getting more confident being around other dogs. Right after our session, I walked Maui home. When he saw another dog on the way back, he did NOT BARK! We are excited to continue training with Mike and seeing more improvements to come. read more

What a treat to have OC Pup Scouts available in our neighborhood. It is a great way for our dog Elsa to socialize and exercise all day. She looks forward for her scheduled walk. Her walker Layla is amazing, professional and enthusiastic. Elsa starts wagging her tail when she hears the sound of her car pulling up close to the house. We hired them initially for few lessons so they can assess Elsa and introduce her to the pack as she is a rescue and had trust issues. She did very well, graduated in three sessions and is now a well disciplined walker and enjoys her lack very much. I highly recommend OC Pup Scouts. I waited a long time to write this review because I believe in supporting local businesses. But imagine getting a phone call at work saying "I found your dog" and not even realizing your dog was lost. I used this company for at least 2 years and loved it- but how they handled losing my dog on a walk was a pet owners nightmare. I was the one the one that called THEM saying someone found my dog. I was in such a state of shock when the walker finally called me an hour later explaining what happened that I didn't realize her story did not add up- including times that could not be verified by my ring camera. I knew it was a horrible mistake on her end, but it was how the owner handled (or didn't handle) the situation that I am writing the review about. According to their story, my dog got loose near my house and ended up in Lido Village- which means she crossed several major major intersections with her leash dragging behind her. Thankfully a nice couple coaxed her over and called my number on her dog tag. She was terrified, sore and had bloody paws when she came home (a miracle). I did not receive a phone call from the owner until the next day and their was no apology just a statement that I'll never forget "we've beeen around for so long, this was bound to happen at some point". read more

I really can't give OC Pup Scouts enough praise!!! I have tried many doggy daycares and didn't love how much the dogs don't interact with each other and the humans don't interact with the dogs.
