Smart Parke - Lobby of the best doggie daycare!

    Smart Parke

We never ran into any issues or had concern over the treatment of our dogs, and we truly felt that every staff member made the effort to connect and build a relationship with Bandit and Tiga. It warmed our hearts to know that the staff at Smart Parke were genuinely sad to see us go when we decided to move, and we can't thank them enough for making it possible to own two amazing dogs while having unpredictable and busy schedules.

One star. Smart Park is mess from top to bottom and has been nothing but a stressful, misleading,…read moreand careless experience for me and my dog. When I signed up, I was told the $100 promotion gave me "30 days of free daycare." What they failed to explain was that it meant 30 consecutive days, not 30 days of use. That's intentionally unclear and feels deceptive and shady. They also told me my dog was there for a "half day," about three -- when she was actually there for for about 8 hours. If they can't even track how long a dog is in their care, how can I trust the care provided. My dog left with a severe ear infection and now a has a very noticeable head tilt. When I called to ask about her care, the receptionist had no information whatsoever and even tried to downplay the situation. She didn't know who watched my dog, didn't know whether she was around water, didn't know anything about her condition, and even mentioned the manager had checked me out and left an open invoice on her account. Then proceeded to tell me I had a $45 outstanding fee, which was completely wrong as I had paid that when I picked up my dog. They also lost my dog's collar and told me they "never had it" because they make owners remove collars. But the moment I asked about reimbursement for a new collar and tag, they suddenly found it. That alone tells me everything I need to know about their honesty. And I'm not the only one dealing with problems. My friend -- the one who originally recommended this place -- has had her dog come home with kennel cough and severe issues that have lead to consistent vomiting and diarrhea from Smart Park. Clearly, they are not monitoring pets properly or maintaining a healthy environment. The lack of communication, awareness, honesty, and basic competence is unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated, worried, and completely unsupported. I would never recommend Smart Park to anyone who actually cares about their dog's safety.

Dr. Duveneck was great and so caring through the process! She talked us through what she was doing to help our sweet girl pass peacefully. I love my animals more than life and am willing to spend thousands of dollars to keep them healthy…read more I went to Canyon Animal Hospital for years and when they closed down I was recommended here. Put an appointment online and clarified what both dogs needed. Specifically, my dog needed to get his ear checked. I put it online in their website and they call me to confirm. I wrote on the website my dog needed his ear checked and told them that he needed his ear checked. When I arrived they only had him scheduled for a quick tech vet and wouldn't see him but offered later that day. Extremely unprofessional, I communicated to them my expectation. Not to mention, in the waiting room, a woman walked in without an appointment, front desk said she had no appointment but it was no problem to see her. Sounds like discrimination Not to mention, the vet tech had us SIGN our quote that it was 350$ not 600$. Guess what they tried to make me pay at the front desk? Yep, $600. Check your documents as clearly detail orientation is not critical here. I absolutely do not trust this place to perform surgery on my dog if they can't even get this stuff straight. The only reason we did fraudulently get charged an extra $300 is because we caught it. I'm sure others are taken advantage Also, if you provide your phone number you will get spam calls from their automated appointment reminder. Which is crazy is that is how I scheduled BOTH my appointments but apparently that wasn't enough to get seen! Deplorable - also to the automated response that will say to contact the hospital manager. We tried, that is clearly just a tactic on yelp to look good. If the customer in front of you can't get the same service sounds pretty trivial

We brought him in at 13 weeks to the EveryPup Program, where he is in a clean and disinfected facility with other safe and healthy pups and he gets training every day by Dave. Almost from day 1 we started noticing huge changes, and he matured so rapidly it's like we have a different dog! He is very calm, polite and attentive, and has been able to self-regulate so well. Dave is always available for our questions and follow ups, and he sends over progress notes and photos every day from training sessions. We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. We also appreciated how fast and quickly they acted on our puppy swallowing something he shouldn't have, and immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to get him to throw it up, which saved us from extremely expensive and likely traumatic vet visits and possible surgery. Very grateful! Every day we pick up our puppy he is so happy from a day of playing and getting love from all the staff, and is tired and ready for some cuddles and naps when he gets home. The staff here are so caring and really love each dog, I trust them to take care of our puppy. Highly recommend!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FOR THE RESEARCH LOCATION. We have taken our dog here for quite some time and…read morewere overall pretty happy. That changed this last time the owners sold the company and the new owners took over, as things have definitely gone downhill, which brings me to this review specifically. This past Thursday, July 2nd, I swung by Paw Sweet Paw on my way home to pick up my dog, since my wife dropped her off for a half day. I told the young lady at the front I was here to pick up Boba, and she said, "I'll be right back with Boba."I waited for 15 minutes for her to return, and when she did, she did not have my dog with her, and she stated something like, "they are in the process of moving the dogs". Some more time goes by, and a manager walks by, and I am livid by this point, and I said, "Where is my flippin dog, although I didn't use flippin. She said, " Please hold on for one minute and she walked away and went upstairs. By this point, it had been a half hour, and not to mention there was another gentleman there to drop off his dog, and he had been waiting 15 minutes. Some more time goes by, and I told the lady at the front that I was walking to the back to get my dog, and you can call whoever you want, but this is BS. When I opened up the gate and was proceeding to walk back, the manager came walking down the steps, and again, I said Where the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ HELL is my dog, to which she replied, I don't know how to tell you this, but WE GAVE YOUR DOG TO THE WRONG PERSON. Needless to say, I lost it, and I said, how the hell is that even POSSIBLE on your end, let alone the person that took my dog home. Who the hell picks up their dog and realizes that this is not my dog and takes it home?????? The Manager said that somehow either she lost her paper collar or someone neglected to read the name on the collar and handed her off to another staff member, and they are the ones that gave her to the wrong owner.....When the new owners of Paw Sweet Paw took over, they implemented this paper tag collar policy, and when you check your dog in, they take the regular collars off of the dog and put a paper collar on the dog. I think it is absolutely ridiculous, but somehow, they believe it's to protect the dogs in case they get in a fight or something, to which I still don't understand. By this point, I cannot even see straight, and I am basically yelling at the Manager as to where my dog is and who the hell is going to get her. She said, "I just spoke to the owner, and I am driving to her house right now to get Boba." The lady that took my dog had two dogs, so as the manager was leaving, I said You might want to go back and get her dog..... She said it would take her about 15 minutes to get to the lady's house and 15 minutes back. Finally, after well over an hour, I got my dog back!!!!!!.. Needless to say, she was extremely anxious and was panting very heavily all the way home, and her heart was racing as well. She finally settled down later that night.....I am not sure what dogs think, but I believe Boba might've been thinking she was being abandoned because she has never been anywhere except Paw Sweet Paw. All in all, I think it was about a 1.5-hour ordeal (nightmare). The Manager said she started 3 weeks ago, apologized profusely, and said she is going to rectify the problem so that it never happens again. She also said that the District Manager would be calling my wife, because by this time, my wife had come down as well. They did call later on that night from a blocked number and left a message with no number to call back. We're still waiting for her to call back. It really sucks because this is the only place we have ever taken Boba, and she actually likes it there cause she is not locked up all day and can play with other dogs. My dog is already anxious, so the idea of finding a new boarding place is less than desirable, but I might have no choice.
