I normally don't like to post negative reviews. However, in this circumstance, I felt compelled to speak the truth. First, I will share my experience with Brett. You can read the full situation in my mom's, Kl C., review. I took the RV out to meet Brett locally. He told me that he needed a part and would be back in 20 minutes. That was fine with me, I didn't mind waiting only 20 minutes. However, I asked him if it was safe to drive the RV because then I would have been able to drive home for a bathroom break, grabbed something to eat and come back, or at the very least would have been able to turn on the vehicle for air conditioning as it was nearly 80 degrees out. His partner told me it was not safe to drive and Brett said don't leave the parking lot because they were just going down the street. I waited 20 minutes, no show. I texted Brett asking what the hold up was and received no reply. I ended up waiting an hour before letting my mom know the situation. At this point, I could not get a hold of Brett for any updates and it became apparent that he wasn't coming back any time soon. When my mom did finally get a hold of him, another 15 minutes later after I called, he ended up saying that it was safe to drive the RV and that there had been a miscommunication. I'm not sure how there can be any miscommunication about someone deliberately saying it was not safe to drive. Whatever the situation was, it's just not cool to leave someone hanging in a parking lot for over an hour with no communication. I had a medical appointment to get to when Brett said he was still 15 minutes away and at that point, I had to leave to arrive to the appointment on time. Brett than tried to pin it on me, saying it was my fault that I had an appointment to get to and that's why it took so long for the RV to have repairs (repairs which ended up making the situation worse). Why he would blame me for him ghosting makes no sense. He also promised a refund in writing to which he has not given yet. When I requested the refund on Venmo, he denied it and then blocked me. He also has ignored my request on Paypal as well. Please beware. Lost money on this guy. Now, to reply back to Brett's response to my mom's review. I just want to clear the air here. First off, my mom is not an alcoholic in the slightest. That response was so absurd I almost laughed because my mom doesn't even drink, she has a chronic illness so drinking would be a one way trip to the hospital. Next, I am not in fact handicapped. Personally, I am not offended about being called handicapped by Brett but it absolutely disgusts me to see a business owner thinking it's okay to use handicap as an insult. Frankly, that's just ableist behavior and disappointing. Clearly, his utter lies let his true character speak for itself. You're a grown man Brett, but your actions do not portray that. read more

Called Brett out to service my macerator on my Airstream Nineteen Class B van as it wouldn't turn on. He couldn't figure out why and suggested a manual bypass. He started off very courteous, helped with the manual dumping of the black tank which was dire for me as my van is for disability use not recreational. While he was able to manually dump the black tank he did not resolve the issue of the macerator not working as he tested it and it got power as well as the switch. He did not think to check if the fuse was blown and that is still under question as we never got that far. Instead he suggested to manually bypass the macerator altogether saving me the hassles of it being blown in the future. What he failed to let me know was that the bypass he installed was less than 4" from the ground. One speed bump and it will be destroyed. On one more note all the new parts he added are held by plastic ties which in the heat will snap off after a short time. He admitted that only after countless calls with my father as communicating with Brett was a chore. He was full of excuses, blameshifting his errors on me of which I have no mechanical experience at all. After much gaslighting and trying to communicate the issues he finally guaranteed he will reverse this error he created. He changed the location the same day and failed to provide me an address of the actual fast food restaurant he suggested to meet at as he was mobile and could not work at my home due to the HOA bylaws. After waiting at a Jack in the Box for a half hour and looking around my daughter whom brought the van for me as I am chronically ill could not locate him. Both she and I were text and calling him for at least 20 minutes and prior to her leaving and guessing which location he was at as he never responded to my question for the address. He was a no show. He then texts us a half hour later with vague photos of him in some parking lot saying he was there and we were the no show. It was a very frustrating ordeal and one I never wish to deal with again. Please beware. Brett made a mess of my van of which it will cost me double now from a reputable RV tech to fix this disaster. Try to get a straight answer out of him and he will blame his shortcomings on you and take your money giving you a bogus guarantee. read more

Under extreme time constraints, Brett from O.C RV Mobile Mechanic, came to my RV which was stuck in storage for several years and it would longer run. He impressed me with his timely response and drive to solve my issue over several days. Peeling the proverbial onion, he trouble shot several progressive issues and ultimately provided a solution allowing me to get back on the road. Kudos to Brett for his diligence and knowledge. I will use this service again in the future and also recommend him to anyone I know. read more

I was able to get a same day appointment for my rv engine and generator oil change as well as diagnostic for additional issue we will work on. I had Brett come out to fix a leaking fresh water tank on our toy hauler. I was in a bind as I was leaving for a trip in a couple days and had to to get it repaired to hold water for the trip. Brett was quick to respond & had it fixed the next day. He followed up after our trip to make sure that the repairs had held over the weekend. read more

We weren't getting power from generator. Called O.C. RV Repair, came out that day and fixed the problem in an hour. Very professional and efficient. Turned out to be the transfer switch. Awesome company. Definitely will use them again if any more problems. read more
