If you are sick and needing a culture done they have a policy not to give you a prescription until results come back. They say 3 days. Which is a ridiculous amount of time. Im pending a strep culture- it could take 5 DAYS. Ive been sick for five days and get to wait through the weekend for results. Wont go here again. My dr was booked thought this would be faster. She spends time with you, really wants to understand your health history, and work with you toward health. They have you put you license in a holder so they can take a picture then they have you answer a bunch of questions on that same machine. By the time you get through that, you forget that you put your license in there and they don't remind you. They should because they had 4 or 5 other peoples licenses in their drawer when I finally got back 2 days later. Aaaaa I think you have a problem and you don't seem to care or even try to fix it. This tells me the people that work there don't care and do as little as possible. Pretty dumb when there are so many others to go to. I only went there because I was in the area. When I picked it up they didn't seem to think they have a problem at all LOL. Never again read more

I took my wife to the Oc Urgent Care. It was easy and very convenient. She was a new patient so she filled out a couple forms and was seen with in minutes. Everyone was very nice and friendly. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Went for check up yesterday and I was seen by Dr Patel. She was rushing like she's going to miss her flight and I don't feel like she had given me proper diagnosis. She later told me to take some medicines and she will forward the prescription to the pharmacy. I went home and waited for the call from CVS. No call. This morning my wife went to CVS to see if the medicine is ready and they told her there's no medicine ordered for me. I then called OC urgent care and the not so friendly lady on the other line said it's over-the-counter medicine so they didn't send any prescription to the pharmacy. WHAT!? the doctor clearly said that she will forward the prescription to the pharmacy and if it was an over the counter medicine, she should have at least written in a piece of paper so i know what to buy. I've been a few times, but recently I came in Friday with a horrible hacking cough making too much mucus. The staff is very kind and the doctor who took care of me was incredibly sweet and understanding of my situation as I'm allergic to a lot of over the counter decongestants. The receptionists are always smiling in a good mood, the nurses -always- listen and care about what you have to say, and Dr Schlegel went above and beyond to make sure I go through this horrible cough more comfortably. They close at 8 but beware, they take their last patient at 7:30 and if something will "take too long" they won't take you. Every other place I called said as long as you're there before the closing time they will take you and we're much friendlier. The person at the front desk was also very rude. Went to OC Urgent Care to get checked out for stomach pain. Saw Brandi, one of the PA-C's there. She was very knowledgeable and thorough, she made sure that there were no other issues going on with me as well. Turned out I did in fact have a couple of other minor issues for which she prescribed me medication for. The office staff was mostly friendly. Other than that, very clean facility and it was a very short wait to be seen. Would definitely come back if the need were to arise. read more

Came in here because of the high star rating when my husband had a serious back issue. When we signed in we told the person at the front desk what the issue was. She was more concerned with getting our insurance than actually servicing us. The staff were unprofessional, if you want to know what I mean visit this place. We canceled our appointment after completing paper work and waiting when while I was reading Yelp reviews, discovered there is NO Xray machine in this "urgent care." Seriously?! After I told them the reason we were there was because bones were misplaced? And how would they determine the issue? ESP? The office looked like it was a medical pharmacy not an urgent care, and when I asked the person at the front if they had an x-ray machine she said no so we canceled and walked out. No, thanks. I will never go back to this place, in fact I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was charged $120 and received no answers or medication. In fact, while I was in the room with the PA which I thought would be a doctor she was literally on her phone looking up my symptoms. All while interrupting me mid sentence trying to explain to her how I'm feeling and trying to tell me I have glaucoma being a 37 year old man. Then I jokingly asked her if I should just go home and smoke some pot which I don't do and giggled yeah. Completely and totally unprofessional. Later when I called to speak with the person in charge of the facility I did not receive a call back. Again a lack of care and character. It's as if, no... I gave these people $120 of my hard earned money for nothing. Doesn't feel good know you got ripped off period. read more

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with our two year old. The women at the front were very unprofessional and rude to us. When I arrived on a Saturday with a sick baby with 104 temperature they told me they only had on Physician's Assistant at the facility and she was about to take a mandatory lunch break so we would have to wait an additional 30 minutes. I explained this was an urgent care and we needed immediate assistance. I decided to wait because an ER visit would take longer to drive there and going to another location would also be more stressful. I explained my daughter might vomit on the floor in the lobby and asked for a room. The woman pointed to the wall where there were masks and blue vomit bags to use if needed. I sat there with several sick people for about 60 minutes. Then I asked the women why the lunch break was taking so long after I had paid my co pay waiting for the care giver to return patiently. She then told me the lunch break was 30 minutes but there were other patients in the room just waiting while she took her lunch that has not been seen or had been seen but then told to wait before they could get their examine finished. First of all this an urgent care. The fact there was not a replacement or second care giver to assist and the keep the facility running while the only PA was sitting in a small room taking a lunch is beyond me. They showed no compassion for a desperate mother and very sick young child. I ended up leaving after waiting ever longer as my child became more lifeless in my arms and going up the street where I was treated with dignity and respect. My daughter was seen after a 15-20 minute wait and was diagnosed with the flu and bronchitis. In fact we were almost sent to the hospital because a toddler with 104-105 temperature is dangerous. This facility didn't even attempt to help us or care or even take into account my toddler was so ill. I would never go here again and feel very discouraged in the health system after this visit. I was also told by a friend who interviewed there that this facility pays their staff 1/3 of what other employees would make elsewhere and that they would be the only Healthcare worker there alone all day, seeing double the patients other docs would see. Talk about burn out and poor care to our citizens. I'm not one to take time out or my busy life with 3 kids to post review. But service like this is horrible. On a positive note the PA that assisted us the time before over was a great PA but the office staff at the front needs an attitude adjustment and management will be getting a call from me Monday morning. I doubt things will change because clearly this faculty is underpaying their workers and treating them unfairly too. This is not how healthcare should treat sick patients in America. read more

I work at for a Radiology group in Orange. I had to call this Urgent Care office to verify a physicians name and oh my, worst costumer service ever!!!! The person at the front desk who answered the phone was not only unprofessional, but had the worst attitude! She put me on hold like 4 times, I had to call back a few times because she kept hanging up on me. She couldn't even verify the spelling of the Dr.'s name!!!!! How do you work at an urgent care facility and not have any knowledge of the physicians you work for?????? Please train her or hire someone who really wants to be there, because I feel sorry for the patients who have to deal with someone like her. She should be glad I don't post her name on here. Been here twice. Both times a complete waste of time and money. Last August we came in with my 2 little boys whom the doctor diagnosed with possibly strep throat ( she wasn't sure but she gave them antibiotics anyway) - only to find out with our regular pediatrician that they had Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. Came back today when my 2 year old hurt his arm and they had a completely different staff ( all told us they were new - does this mean their turnover is that bad?) - after waiting an hour they told us to go to the hospital since they don't do x-rays anyway. We went to another Urgent Care office in Ladera Ranch and they said he only had a sprain. I will never go to this place again! read more

I am so happy with this urgent care. I suffered from "ringworm" on my hands for 2 years. I've gone to 2 other doctors previously and they diagnosed me with ringworm. My skin was so cracked, itchy and inflamed. I was about to cut off my hands!! That's how uncomfortable I was. So I said enough was enough so I walked in to the OC urgent care. Was seen 5 minutes. Then Dr. Brandy walked in she looked at my skin for one second and said "nope that is nebula eczema." I was shocked to hear it wasn't ringworm I kinda questioned her. But she prescribed me a cream and within 2 days my horrible rashes cleared up! Anyone who has suffered with eczema knows the relief. I will forever thank that doctor read more

Avoid this urgent care at all costs. They are uncaring and the staff all seem to want to be somewhere else. The nurse told my husband he probably got the flu from the flu shot he'd had a month earlier!?!? The PA wants in and out of the room as fast as possible. If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my sick baby in and the place was dead. First the EXTREMELY unhappy and rude front desk lady asked for my son's name...except my baby is actually my daughter! And then I fill out their 10 page packet and the lady told me there were more pages without even looking at the packet. However I had filled those pages out already. And she rolled her eyes at me when I didn't fill out the email or address for my daughter! Um hello!! It's the same as mine. I'm struggling there with a very sick baby and they had no desire to help or expedite seeing my daughter. I guess they forget that clients = the reason they have a job. Awful experience!! I've been coming here for years and would have given 5 stars every other time however the last two times I've been here I've been disappointed. I was diagnosed and treated here and when I called for a doctors note to release me from work they told me I needed to be reevaluated to be issued a note. Two days later! I have congenital heart desease and had a sever case of tonsillitis and they told me I was very contagious. They asked me to get out pf bed where the PA asked me to not move from just to get a note? Not mention how rude the admin was about it. Why is it that I needed to be seen again? Because they wanted an additional copay? This is so ridiculous. I'll never be coming here again after this visit. I'm so disappointed. If I wasn't so sick, I'd give these people a piece of my mind! read more

I recently went to OC Urgent Care not expecting very much in terms of service or quality of care, but was blown away with Dr. Brandi L. Dr. Brandi was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to speak with me about my questions/concerns related to the decided course of treatment, including antibiotics. Most urgent care centers are more focused on getting someone "in and out" but I didn't have that experience at all! Dr. Brandi was personable and, again, KNOWLEDGEABLE-something you again don't always find at an urgent care center! I have been here a few times when my doc is not available right away or its more a immediate problem. Both me and my wife have had great service here. But some of the PA's are new and still working on bedside manners, so mileage can vary. The nurses have been great and the front desk efficiency is really high. Came here for a bladder infection because my doctor's office had no openings. PA was very thorough. I was also experiencing flank pain, so they sent me for a kidney xray to rule out kidneystones. Wait was not bad. Place is clean. Staff is very friendly. Forms are available online, I was able to fill them out at home and take them with me. They sent out my sample to the lab for culture test. called me back with results and the received appropriate treatment. I was very satisfied with their service. read more

They told me it would be 45 minutes and so I went and had dinner and came back. As soon as I sat down after dinner they called my name.
