Went in with a knee pain from a motorcycle accident. I asked the front girl if my insurance will cover any knee brace if needed, she said yes. They called me in and did their check ups before I see the dr. Spoke with him young dude new on the job, he said I might a torn the muscle, not a big deal I'll rest and get better. He came in with a knee brace that I had to put on myself in the pain I was in. Finally got it on ten minutes later of struggling and in pain. Then the dr returns and says the insurance might not cover it take it off, thanks man!! Left in pain tells me to keep my foot up and good luck....thanks dick!! Amazing group of professionals. If only I could use them as my primary care group! The girls up front are caring, helpful and efficient, with a great sense of humor. The back office staff is fast, and good at whatever is asked of them. As a healthcare professional myself, it was a welcome surprise to see such teamwork combined with an attitude of genuine concern, a generous helping of positive with a healthy side of humor. This staff knows what they're doing! The PA is remarkably knowledgeable, have been more than thrilled with the time taken to diagnose some unique conditions with my daughter. Brian and Brandi saved us weeks of guesswork! We were able to treat the condition and move on with our life. I went to this urgent care after a food allergy attack in which I broke out in hives all over my body The person who attended to me did not give me any medicine and only chatted with me, entering my symptoms into a hand held device resembling an iphone, and sent me on my way. 3 hrs later, my symptoms continued to worsen such that I had to go to the ER where it took 2 doses of steroid and adrenaline to get the hives under control. The urgent care followed up with me a few days later and I mentioned that I had to go to the ER. They said that someone would call to follow up. They never did. read more

I wanted to say thank you to the swift & nurturing care that OC Urgent Care provided! My best friend injured her knee & I had to help get her to an urgent care facility ASAP. Thankfully, she did not dislocate it! But the PA helped adjust her knee back into a comfortable position & she was able to walk comfortably again! No more pain :) I was thrilled that she did not need surgery or anything more severe. Best walk-in I've ever been to. The PA's are wonderful, nice, profesional, knowledgeable, and even call you at home to see how you're feeling. The ladies at the front desk are friendly, helpful, funny, and kind. Being sick stinks, but being seen in an office with people who make you feel comfortable helps. While I overly appreciated my quality of care while being seen by Brandi, one of the PAs, my experience was ruined by an extremely unhelpful and borderline disrespectful receptionist named Sasha. I have had painful arthritis in a single joint from a palm tree puncture that had not gone away months later like expected, I called to ask what type of specialist to see based on the judgement of the person who originally examined my case or if I should potentially wait longer. Sasha began with an unpleasant mood as soon as she heard it had been 2 months from my visit and told me I would need to come back, obviously this may be a money tactic but I live in NYC and this was not an 'urgent' situation. After having to repeat myself on multiple occasions that I only wanted the person who originally saw me to call at her convenience and I was not concerned if it took a week or two, I am became frustrated with her inability to carry a simple message rather than immediately denying my request. Unfortunately for a business such as this having such a poor representative as the first line of communication may remind us that healthcare is just a business and there is no time for a 2 minute phone call from the other side of the country if you cannot physically come in and give them more money. Whether this is a policy or not I was left feeling extremely discouraged and disrespected by one individual who did not have the ability to effectively communicate or provide 'customer service', since that is all I am to her. read more

EXCELLENT - quality of service exceeded my expectations! Found the team to be respectful and actually "listened to me"! They took as much time as was needed, i did not feel rushed as if they needed to turn over the room, they took the time to know me as a patient/person and then built a health care to assist me in the best way possible. WOW is right. I have been going to this Urgent Care for over a year now and can honestly say that they have saved my life on several occasions. Brian and his staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure my health issues are addressed and properly treated, and believe me when I say I am not the simplest patient to care for.... There have been numerous times when I have received a follow up call from Brian himself a day or two after my visit, just to see how I am doing and if the course of treatment is working for me. That in itself, shows me that I am not just another chart but a patient who is in the hands of a caring physician. Oh and I would be remiss if I did not mention how awesome all of the gals are who keep the office running so efficiently :) Not only are they personable and friendly but they always manage to keep things at a steady flow so I have yet to have had to wait longer than 10 min top's before going back to be seen. read more

I had a pretty bad experience here last week. I called ahead and was told that if I arrived after I got off work (anytime after 4:30) I shouldn't have a wait. I arrived at 4:50 and had an hour long wait. Once I was led back, the nurse saw me for intake, measurements and vitals. Upon weighing me, she said my weight out loud rather loudly. As a female, I found this astonishing. This is something a nurse should keep private. You never know what this could trigger for a female. I was taken back and seen by the PA. The PA was actually rather nice. I had no issues with her. She had me checked for strep and mono. When she left my room, I could hear her telling the nurses what tests needed to be taken. I then heard the nurses gossip about me and laugh. This made me want to leave instantly, but I felt so sick I was stuck. I honestly hope the staff reads this review and creates some major changes. I was insulted by how I was handled and the gossipy nature the nurses had. read more

We got in to see the doctor right away and the staff and doctor really take care of you. We are thinking of changing our primary doc to these guys instead of driving up the freeway to see ours. When my original Dr. wouldn't help me with my Thyroid problem, Brandi went above and beyond to help me out and correctly diagnose me.Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. My daughter and I go to OC Urgent Care Foothill Ranch for all our medical needs. I'd rather wait 45 minutes (which we only had to do one time because it was really busy that day) and to have Brandi and the rest of the staff help me that same day opposed to calling my assigned HMO Dr. and be told I won't be able to get an appointment for two months and their total lack of concern for an immediate problem, that probably shouldn't wait two months. I was seen by the P.A. Brandi and she was absolutely amazing! This was one of the best doctor visits that I have had. She was very informative and explained to me what my condition was and how I can become better. She prescribed me medication and other treatments that immediately improved my condition. I was also assigned further care to make sure my condition improves. In a few days she even called to follow up from another location! She is very sweet and knowledgable and clearly a hard worker in her field. It's clear that she wants her patients to feel happy and healthier. Thank you Brandi!!! read more

2.5 stars. I don't think you can be seriously injured or need "urgent care" to go to this urgent care facility. The place is bare bones meaning there wasn't even a chair for the physician to sit in in the patient room. There is a t.v. in the waiting area, but it wasn't on. It is a little run down especially in the patient rooms. A young kid running the front went through the forms with me and took my money. $100 per visit, but then I reminded him of the $75 special they have. There is no doctor available, but a nice physician's assistant. Two stars. Here is where the .5 comes in. The physician's assistant was very nice, personable and patient.She checked me out and told me I was okay. She then printed out my condition from the Mayo Clinic's website so that I walked out informed. How many times have you been to the doctor and then got home and tried to repeat what the doctor told you about your condition? The printout was helpful. If they updated the place, cleaned up it a little and provided friendly service at the front desk I would go back if needed. read more

Two hours before an extremely important engagement I suffered a gash in my knee. I went to OC Urgent Care and was very promptly seen. The staff was extremely kind and understanding of my situation, and responded with professionalism and urgency. I was stitched up and sent on my way. The doctor did a great job with my stitches (no scars!) and even followed up with me the next week to see how I was doing. I was extremely pleased with OC Urgent Care. read more

I have gone here 3 times, and each time had Dr. Brandy. I will never go to another doctor again. Every time she has been thorough, healed me quickly and more than that, she calls the next day to see how I am doing. What Dr. does that anymore? I went in yesterday with the flu that is going around. My lungs are weak which means they get infected and bronchitis etc. A sheriffs car was there and he came out while I was waiting, and I figured he had gotten hurt. When it was my turn, Brandy told me that a patient about an hour before me had wanted drugs which she would not give him, and he had become violent and threatened her. She was pretty rattled, this is a woman who has to walk thru a parking lot to her car in the dark. Even with that going on she still did a great job for me and I feel much better today. I asked her for albuterol which I use in my home nebulizer. Last night when my wife brought the prescriptions home I noticed there was no albuterol. So this morning I called the clinic and left a note. Within 20 minutes Dr. Brandy called me back, and told me the albuterol was in the inhalers she had prescribed. I told her I also wanted the liquid kind for my nebulizer, and really I did not make this clear to her in the exam room. So it was my bad, and she said not to worry, she would take care of it. Twenty minutes later CVS called and said my prescription was ready for pickup. Now that is service, and that is a doctor who really cares about her patients. If she ever leaves I am going with her, even if she moves out of state!! Seriously, I have never had a Dr. that is on top of things like her. My previous MD would take days to get back to me, or to call things in. read more

A nice surprise. I've always been turned off by the depressing exterior look of this place and the name "surgery" in the name under who-knows-what owner and name change over the years. But my insurance changed and these guys were on it so I decided to check it out for something not too serious. The place was uncrowded and typical looking. I was quickly seen by a PA (Brian) who was VERY bright and knew his stuff. He also noticed something else chronic I know I have so points for spotting that. They do give you helpful printouts as the other reviewer stated. The place is one main doctor with some PA's so I can only vouch for Brian; I have never actually seen an M.D. there. They don't have an X-ray machine so if you suspect a bone break, they have to send you down the road - which was backed up when I went. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and would go back and send friends and family. read more
