I walked her in then went outside to wait for her and I didn't even finish my phone call that they already walked her out to me in the garden!! This was totally awesome! if you have been to their Orange location, you would know and appreciate this type of timeliness to the max. Although there were many people in the ICU unit that do great work, these are those that are standouts and deserve special recognition. First and foremost is Lyssa P. (RN) without whom I would most likely have never likely found out about my son's hospitalization in the first place. It was her keen intuition and sheer determination that resulted in the hospital being able to locate me and for that I am eternally grateful. Supervisors Deborah P. and Maria N. were also standout participants in my son's medical attention. Marcus L. (RN) and Brandon C. (RN) are truly remarkable bedside nurses - frankly, some of the best I have ever seen (and I have seen many!) They are attentive, compassionate, and most importantly, extremely capable in what they do. I too am eternally grateful for them taking such great care of my son (as well as my emotions!) My son had several other doctors and nurse practitioners watching over him who performed admirably. One, however, truly stands out - his Hospitalist- Dr. Eric Cui who was amazingly communicative, compassionate and competent. It seemed to me that he really "quarterbacked" the medical attention my son received from ICU through discharge. He is an amazing man who truly deserves to be recognized as such. I have severe asthma and the humid weather has caused me to have a major flare, preceded by a…read morerespiratory infection. My O2 saturation drops below 90% when I try to sleep. The first visit to this ER was okay - 08/13/26. I saw Dr. Carol Tang. She ordered a breathing treatment and a Decadron injection. She also got me an urgent consult with a pulmonologist ... NOT UNTIL 09/09/26. Unfortunately I was also taking a Medrol Dosepak (from Hoag ER Newport) and both wore off together, throwing me into a steroid rebound. I thought I'd need to go back, I was so short of breath. I suppose Dr. Tang didn't consider steroid rebound. I had a pulmonology consult but no new meds. A sleep apnea study to be scheduled, which doesn't help me now. I was back in Foothill ER with shortness of breath and oxygen saturation dropping into mid to high 80's early Saturday morning, 08/22/26. Dr. John Jiao saw me. He was busy with an indigent drunk and obviously saw me as a distraction that needed to be ejected. Dr. Jiao slapped me on an O2 monitor and since my saturation had gone up to 92% / 93%, he said "I don't know why you're here. There's nothing to treat". I had my oxygen monitored for 20 minutes and I left. I will be filing a complaint against Dr. Jiao. I noticed the diagnosis he chose was asthma and panic attack. Well, if someone can't breathe, the PANIC is real. Too bad I'm not a raging drunk. I would've received better care. I'm also considering contacting CMS Medicare to inform them of how I was treated. Nothing was done, I was disrespected, and I don't think they should be paid for the visit. I'm still struggling with shortness of breath. I was able to speak to my PCP who urged me back to the ER should my oxygen levels drop again. He also prescribed another nebulizer solution to use alternating with Albuterol. I informed my PCP of how I was treated and that I will never go back to Foothill Regional Hospital ER ever again. My preference is Hoag ER - Newport or Irvine. As an Army Vet, I would've been treated far better at the V.A. hospital. Never again!

Your allergy could change sometimes.. Even though I take an allergy pill every single day. So I'm gonna go get one with contrast for my neck. But for them, it's not fine. so pretty much, I said, okay, are they trying to get rid of me? No, I said, okay. Well I don't know who I'm supposed to talk to about this, and I said, I guess I have to get a new primary care. And they're like, okay, no problem they said, they tried to ask the director again Mr. Sweden. Who is horrific? And I wrote a review about that. So it's just to report it to insurance. But they gave me an estimate payment of $50ish for physical, $50 ish for TB and $30-40 for the drug test. Towards the end the 9panel test was going to cost me $350. The young lady taking my payment was very rude, unfortunately I did not get her name. I asked her for a copy of my paperwork and said I needed to bring in my own forms. I made it clear when I signed in I did not have any paperwork, that they would need to provide. I also told the doctor the same. I came back for my TB test reading and staff was very unorganized. I was being charged again and my paperwork was not ready. Second visit for TB test and to pick up my paperwork took over 45 minutes. And I still had to come back a third time for my clearance form. Dr. Mach took her time examining my eyes and explaining the state of my eye health. Coming from independent optometrists, I have learn things from Dr. Mach that was not formally explained to me. I was able to get a trial of contact lenses and a prescription for glasses on the same visit. Vision Center: An excellent experience overall. I was surprised that every patient has their personal consultant. They explained how glasses were supposed to fit on your face. If they're too tight, it causes the hinges to break off. They take their time to make sure how the lenses will fit and use devices to help make the glasses sit well on your face. They have a lot of trendy options for frames as well!

Thats when i started explaining in 4 letter words how i had seen my feet, daily for 50 years, and altho im not a medical professional MY FREAKING TOE IS BROKEN. This place isnt all bad, it has a few good doctors, Dr dunkelman was good, dr lane(?) Or dr dumb__s as i referto him, not so much. I had surgeries there in Oct 2017 for burns from a motorcycle accident after being hit by someone on their phone (not a surprise). My biggest complaint is that they don't have a system to know HOW MANY STAPLES THEY PUT IN YOU!!! Are you freaking kidding me! I didn't go to medical school, but I'll tell the burn surgeons of the world how to count staples right now. They use disposable staple guns. 35 staples/gun. Say you need 95 staples. I'm not sure if they have misfires but if theres a misfire, dr says "misfire". So after they finish they count misfires snd the remaining staples of the last gun used. I mentioned that to dr lake (or lane, dr dumb__s) and he dismissed it immediately. He literally said im a big tough guy with tattoos i shouldn't mind a few staples popping out. Really? I shouldn't? Well dr d.a. its not the pain i mind, its not even your condescending way of speaking to me, bc i know you are only intelligent in one specific thing in life. Its the freaking 4 hours out of my day it takes! I still have one in my upper arm, its now formed a mass around it. How do i know its a staple you might wonder, i used a magnet and it moved. On top of this crap service blue shield didn't pay these guys for 2 years. I was in collections bc of it. It was only $113,900! Why did blue shield not pay,,,,thats another review but one of their denials was out of network! Hahaha i was in an ambulance, id been hit by a distracted driver in my own lane, i had 20% of my skin burned off and my wife had died 6 weeks prior! I knew i should have checked ifvthe ambulance knew that they were out of network! Btw emergency room visits are not out of network.
