At one point, they noticed that one of the tiles was broken and took initiative to return it and put a perfect tile. They completed the entire kitchen in less time that they had originally told us. They even were able to work on the weekends so that we could have our kitchen done faster. We are incredibly happy that we went with them. It was the best decision. Their price was also the most reasonable out of all of the contractors we received quotes from. They were also so flexible with the changes and additions that we made. They're great people, trustworthy! They strive to meet their customer's expectations. The countertop installation turned out great and the work was completed on time. My wife and I welcomed this positive outcome since other aspects of our kitchen remodeling project (different contractor) did not go as smoothly. I needed a notch cut out on the front corner for curtains to tuck into and a hole for a countertop outlet extension. Oscar provided a quote right away, I didn't have to wait days or follow up. Luckily my job wasn't too small for him! He came out right away to measure the space and installed 2 days later. The curtain cubby has a nice, finished edge and he did a great job rounding the exposed corner. Veining on the backsplash continues from the counter, which I wasn't expecting. Oscar understood my vision and the finished job came out beautiful!

Where things fell short was communication and delivery...especially disappointing as this was our first time shopping here. When we placed our order, we specifically asked if the product was in stock and were told that it was. After we paid and left, we received a call saying the product was actually not in stock and would take about a week. Frustrating, but what made it worse was the response we got when we followed up. We spoke with Glenn and explained that had we known, we might have gone elsewhere. His response was essentially that we were free to do so. Having worked in customer service for over 10 years, I found that surprising and disappointing...there was no effort to retain our business or make things right. We decided to continue with the order since we had already paid. Fast forward about two weeks, and we hadn't received any updates. I called to check in and was told the shipment was still in transit and might arrive by the end of the day. I asked to speak with a manager, and Glenn called me back. To his credit, he acknowledged the earlier interaction and apologized for the delay, but there was still a lack of proactive communication or effort to improve the experience...especially considering we had already, made multiple trips for payment and a partial pickup. Ironically, I received a call just before closing that the rest of the shipment had arrived and would be ready for pickup the next day...but only after I had reached out first. I would still recommend this place for the showroom, selection, and the help we received from Polina. Just be aware that the follow-through and communication may not match that initial experience.

He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. I only wish I could give this company a 10-star review. We have a 30 y/o home with granite, marble and porcelain tile throughout and have taken care of, and maintained our "investment" over the years as per product guidelines, but have always been on the look-out for a stone-care specialist. After having seen The Beautiful Stone Company's impressive "restoration" work performed in our daughter's home, I immediately called and scheduled an appointment. Paul, the owner, was thorough in his evaluation, taking the time to explain the nuance's of the differences in the stones and their practical approach to cleaning & sealing each product including grout and chip repairs. The dedication to his business, and to his clients, is undeniable. Needless to say, I can't say enough about the quality of work provided by the Beautiful Stone crew. The "young men", Greg, Derrick, Andy and Jacob, were professional, polite, efficient, hard-workers, obviously informed and articulate in their product knowledge and detail-oriented in their approach to the cleaning and sealing of all areas treated. My experience with Affordable Stone Care of Orange County was great from beginning to end. Paul came out and provided the estimate, we then scheduled the project, which consisted of cleaning and sealing all of the stone surfaces and tables in our house (a large project that took the 3 workers all day). Paul and his wife and a third worker showed up exactly on time, and proceeded to carefully, completely and professionally treat all of our stone surfaces. Along the way, they pointed out different issues, and provided suggestions and tips for ongoing stone care. They picked up and removed all of their equipment and used containers leaving no leftover mess. There were no surprises when we received the invoice. I highly recommend The Beautiful Stone Co. to anyone who needs their marble refinished. They did a great job. I hired The Beautiful Stone Company to refinish my 20 year old marble kitchen island. Paul and company did a wonderful job from prep to finish. I am very pleased with the results. Makenzie and Derek were on time, texting before they arrived, and they were conscientious by carefully covering all areas of the kitchen with drop cloths to protect the floors and cabinets. They patiently answered all my questions and stepped me through the whole process. We recently had the entire courtyard tile in an HOA I manage cleaned and sealed by Paul from Affordable Stone Care. Paul was very knowledgeable about stone care and lent a helping hand on how to best care for the tiles giving the HOA options on the sealing and products used. There was a issue on the day is sealing due to our water being shut off, however, Paul quickly rescheduled the HOA to be sealed the following week. The three stars are for the appointment for the estimate. Paul Blanco confirmed the appointment and showed up to do the measurements and sent me an estimate by text and email to clean my tiled floor. So everything seemed to be going right. But that's pretty much it. When I followed up by text then by email to make an appointment for the job, there was no reply. I had a huge crack in my granite countertop in front of my kitchen sink. Paul from Affordable Stone Care, did an excellent job fixing it. He showed up on time for our appointment and fully explained everything he was doing to repair the granite. It looks great and the crack is completely sealed. I contacted Paul to clean and refurbish tile and granite in shower area. There were some deep gouges in the granite which he matched and filled; now they are barely visible. He removed left over grout on the shower walls and filled holes. These areas look brand new. I am so impressed and appreciative of the quality of his work and the time he spent. read more

He answered all of our questions, and explained everything they were doing throughout the various stages of the process. Carlos's assistant, Jair is friendly and a hard worker. After the work was completed, Mike came to inspect the work, and grout the transition from our Dining Room to our kitchen. I didn't even have to ask them to do this. George suggested it to replace the ugly molding that was previously there, and on which we would frequently stub our toes. Mike returned a second time to drop off a complementary Bona cleaning kit. From the initial Yelp request to the finish of our project, George and his team were stellar, exceeding our expectations. Our floors look amazing, as if they were newly installed!
