Turns out the mechanic (after having made me wait an hour so he could take his lunch break) installed the brake line incorrectly so that it rubbed against the tire and eventually wore away completely. When I called to inform them, they took zero responsibility, and informed me that "There's only one way to install a brake line". The mechanics I talked to in Virginia (where my brakes failed) both told me that the guy that worked on my car shouldn't be working an any cars, period. So if you value your life, or your family's life, I'd recommend going elsewhere. There are several other more professional, and more competent, places in the area.

Had a Silverado, late 2015s, had transmission issues, there were class action lawsuits for this and Chevrolet was fixing them. Service manager looked at me straight face and said that was against corporation not the dealer, would not replace the transmission even though he knew it was failing and part of a class action. Could've fixed the problem but i guess he decided that he couldn't bother chevrolet america and add another service request on a recall where corporation paid. Maybe he was told not to by the owner to maintain a reputation.. Either way, he kept jerking us around until the warranty mileage was up then demanded 8k for a new transmission. We got rid of the truck after they reset the computer and check engine light AGAIN (yeah just unplug the battery) and charged us a diagnotic fee. All in all, it's a shitty dealership ran by shitty people with no morals other than to make money. If you're local then you already know.
