After a couple of hot minutes of him staring into space. Waiting for a response on the other end I finally said excuse me. Can I just pick that up... it's right there. Well with a very disgusted grunt and a disgusted look. He grabbed my item. Stuck it on the counter. Hit a button on the computer and said you're good to go. Now I realize that the caliber of people that typically work in a auto parts store are not cerebral Giants, but I would expect them to be courteous. I use this store because it's closest but I don't think I'm going to have a problem driving somewhere else now. What an a******

My mind was put to ease with the evaluation, which was greater than I expected -- truly surprised me with the thoroughness. They gave an honest appraisal of all the things my car needed, including a mindfulness towards the oil, and new front tires (which I clearly needed before running anything over), and assured me I was good for the return trip home without any immediate repairs or parts done in their shop. I followed through with their advice when I did get home, including getting new tires, and it truly made a difference in how the car was driving. Wish they were my home mechanic!!

Today we have decided not to work with Kellys Automotive in Manteo any longer. I had 3 vehicles…read morewith them and they have been doing the maintenance on my company vehicles. 3 of my vehicles have been in their yard for weeks with no parts ordered and nothing started to repair. These vehicles are company vehicles and very important that they be repaired in a responible amount of time. This morning i had a 4th vehicle go down and dropped it off at Kelly's. I waited around for someone to show up as they open at 8am. Kelly showed up and i began to tell him what was wrong with the 4th vehicle. I then started to ask when the other vehicles were going to be completed as i needed them to do work. He stated it will be several weeks before he could even look at them. Now remember they have already been sitting onsite for several weeks at this time. So i mentioned if he still wanted to do my work. At this time Kelly blow up and started cussing at me and screaming to get my sh@# out of his car lot. He charged me $1,000.00 to tear down a truck that i drove into his shop that i now have to pay to have towed off his lot. 1 of my vans gas tanks was crushed from when he put it on the lift wrong and doesnt want to take responiblity for it. He said he replaced the motor mounts on one of my other vans which is a lie as they have not been replaced, but i paid him for this. I paid him to fix the fan on one of my vans and it still does not work. I will be taken Kelly to court once i get all this information together and find out everything he was supposed to fix and didnt.
