I had 3 vehicles…read morewith them and they have been doing the maintenance on my company vehicles. 3 of my vehicles have been in their yard for weeks with no parts ordered and nothing started to repair. These vehicles are company vehicles and very important that they be repaired in a responible amount of time. This morning i had a 4th vehicle go down and dropped it off at Kelly's. I waited around for someone to show up as they open at 8am. Kelly showed up and i began to tell him what was wrong with the 4th vehicle. I then started to ask when the other vehicles were going to be completed as i needed them to do work. He stated it will be several weeks before he could even look at them. Now remember they have already been sitting onsite for several weeks at this time. So i mentioned if he still wanted to do my work. At this time Kelly blow up and started cussing at me and screaming to get my sh@# out of his car lot. He charged me $1,000.00 to tear down a truck that i drove into his shop that i now have to pay to have towed off his lot. 1 of my vans gas tanks was crushed from when he put it on the lift wrong and doesnt want to take responiblity for it. He said he replaced the motor mounts on one of my other vans which is a lie as they have not been replaced, but i paid him for this. I paid him to fix the fan on one of my vans and it still does not work. I will be taken Kelly to court once i get all this information together and find out everything he was supposed to fix and didnt.

BTW, I am from out of state and was on a family vacation at the NC beaches when this happened. After several disappointing calls to Chevy dealers, I called Performance and spoke with Liz. She realized the predicament I was in and made arrangements for me to be at Performance the next day. She and the service team there made temporary repairs sufficient enough to allow me to drive the car several hundred miles home, because trim parts needed to be ordered. I cannot say enough positive about my experience. Liz is the bomb! Thank you.

    Brought my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 in with transmission issues ultimately the transmission was shot in…read moreneeded replaced and was going to be covered under an extended warranty. The dealership had no issue working with the extended warranty to have the transmission replaced after a couple weeks I got the truck back and everything was good I thought less than a year later I started hearing sounds coming from the bell housing area and not living in the area anymore, I called and they told me I would have to take it to their dealership for them to look at it for anything to be covered not wanting to cause any damage. I took it to a dealership in Virginia, and ultimately the flywheel bolts were loose, causing the flywheel to rattle when the shop did an initial inspection. There were bell housing bolts loose. There were bolts missing exhaust, put back together with wrong bolts and wire holding it when I tried to talk to the service manager at this dealership about what the other shop had found and the issues they did not believe me or the shop and told me for them to cover any of the cost. The vehicle would have to be brought down to their dealership, which is not possible without paying an outrageous amount in Towing. Obviously they do not take any pride in the work that they do do not trust this dealership.

    I bought a used truck from Austin on Saturday April 4th. When I purchased it had a key issue and…read moreAustin gave me an IOU to get it fixed on Tuesday April 7th. We brought it on Tuesday and their key guy said it's an issue with the truck. Duke Chevrolet told me they would bring it over to Toyota to sort out the issues that day. They didn't bring it until the following day Wednesday April 8th. It is now Thursday April 9th and Toyota wasn't able to fix the issue. We bought this Truck because we had a trip out of town on Friday April 10th and we needed the truck. My wife went in to sort out the issue and see what they could do for us. Grace stated the vehicle should have never hit the lot with this issue. Danny their service manager said it had never hit the lot and Austin had pulled it out to sell. My wife went to their Sales Manager Mike with this information to see if they could possibly give us a rental so we could make the trip tomorrow. Austin knew we had a trip out of town when I purchased this vehicle. Mike basically told us their is nothing they could do for us and while my wife was there (I was on speaker phone so I heard all this) he told us that he also has a trip tomorrow so he's got to get moving and when my wife retorted with "yeah but you have a reliable vehicle" he waved his hand at her and said "I'm not going there with you." My wife was not being rude she was just stating a fact. Mike is a horrible Sales Manager and in my opinion should be fired for disrespecting a customer that didn't even raise her voice and waving her off like it's the 16th century. I was unable to be there due to work. When I asked over my wife's speaker phone what the return policy was Mike stated "4 days, 200 miles" which both have probably passed seeing as I got to drive it for a whole 60 miles before turning it back into them on Tuesday and they drove the rest of it. They stated they will fix the issue, but the fact that Mike disrespected my wife, the fact that Grace (I am assuming her position is high up in sales) stated this truck should have never hit the lot, and the fact that Danny stated it should have never been pulled from Service and there is absolutely nothing Duke Automotive can do about the inconvenience of this issue (other than get it fixed whenever they can I guess) has put a bad taste in my mouth for Duke Chevrolet Automotive. Hopefully this gets seen my Eley Duke, because at this point I am screwed out of this trip unless we get a rental on our own dime, because of multiple screw ups from this supposedly good dealership. While I was typing this Mike called me back and told me Eley Duke would pay up to $250 for a rental vehicle. So I guess there's that, but when I asked Mike if he raised his hand and shooed my wife away he stated he did not, however I do not believe him because I heard his statement "I'm not going there with you" right before my wife said "I just got dismissed." For a first time doing business with Duke Chevrolet Automotive, all I have to say is this has not been a pleasant one. Thank you Eley for offering 250 towards a rental, and thank you Danny and Grace for treating my wife with respect. I'd even say Austin was pleasant to work with, but Mike, I heard your tone over the phone and shame on you for shooing away a customer when they are asking for help. Can't wait to drive my new to me Tacoma whenever that will be.

I came in with a…read moretough situation after a major mechanical failure of my old vehicle, negative equity to deal with, and a tight schedule with work and kids' sports. I felt like finally the universe was on my side as Leo and his team helped me figure out all the fun financials of a low valued trade in and getting into the new-to-me vehicle that my family and I needed. The genuine kindness from Leo and Danny and Fatima (I'm sorry who else's name I may have forgotten) has restored my faith in car dealerships and I may never go anywhere but RK again. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, please do yourself a good service and go to RK Chevy and ask for Leo. He will literally run from building to building, texting you updates as he works on making things happen. Just don't be surprised if you have to beat down a line of other customers who are there to follow up with him. He's that good. As I said the day he handed me my new keys, "It may only be April, but it's LEO seasonnnn!"

Instead of helping, Kosta became unprofessional and even threatened me over the phone, which is completely unacceptable customer service. I paid for a service that was never properly completed, and I was left dealing with the consequences while being ignored. There has been no communication, no accountability, and no compensation for the inconvenience they've caused. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I cannot recommend doing business with this company. Stay away if you expect professionalism, communication, or follow-through

Bought my 4th Subaru from RK last night, there's a reason we keep going back. Nick Wilson, sales manager, was super patient with my indecisiveness, offering different finance and leasing options between different models and trims to get me to my goal of lowering my current car payment. In this situation most dealerships will do just about anything to simply get the deal done, however Nick spent time helping me select a trim most similar to the 2022 Forester Wilderness I was trading in, so I wouldn't lose too many features in the process of saving money on the car payment itself. Anyone else would have focused on just finding me a lower payment so I really appreciated the time he spent with me on this. The sales agents assisting me, David Fanning, John Conrad, and William Link were super helpful in helping me compare models and discussing utility and capabilities as well. These guys even took me out to see the car multiple times to check for included accessories, and determining what I would need to add as well! These guys did a great job helping me make decisions as I was trading in my full sized SUV for the more compact Crosstrek Sport. Their product knowledge really shined here in not just knowing Subaru's lineup, but what options and capabilities come with each model and trim level, and being able to cross compare them. It's also worth noting that I went into the dealership battling a multi-day long migraine, and it was super cool that everyone was considerate of that as well throughout the process! Additionally, lot attendant Rich did a GREAT job on the cleanup for the car as well, he's always SO thorough! And he's even helping me put my crossbars on! The only part of the process that was frustrating was the next day, today, I met with David Fanning to get my new 2024 Crosstrek Sport's windows tinted. My car was dropped off at the tint shop at 0830, RK doesn't open until 09 so this also speaks to these agents commitment to their customers as well. Around 0930, David gets a call from the tint shop that my car is ready to be picked up. At this point, David communicated that before we can pick up the car, some paperwork had to be signed by the sales manager and taken over to the admin office, in order for the tint shop to bill the dealership for the work. And this is what we waited on for almost an hour. It appeared that the manager was in a meeting with owner during this time. David attempted to pick up this paperwork during this meeting and was told to wait. No problem, I had brought my dog with me, we hung out. Around 10, John Conrad called down to the manager's office to inquire again about being by able to pickup this paperwork so I could pickup my car and go home, again was told to wait. This was really frustrating to wait when my car was already done, and all we needed was to be able to just grab 2 pieces of paper from the manager's office. At 1020, finally we called the tint shop, explained the situation and got permission to just come get the car, and submit the paperwork by end of day. I've purchased 4 Subarus from RK, they are genuinely the best dealership in general in Hampton Roads, which is why we continue to come back for vehicles, accessories, service, say hello. I highly recommend this business for their sales staff making the stressful process of buying a car simple!

David set the deal up completely through text, and got me the numbers I wanted to see for our the door pricing within a day of speaking to me. I came in and he was quick in getting our trade in looked at, and pushing the deal along to financing. All in all I was only in the dealership for a little under two hours. I would highly recommend asking for David F. If you come into this dealership!
