    Seafood Stew
    Sandra C.

All I can say is yum!! We stopped here for dinner and it was just what we needed. I had the Bloody Mary and a bread bowl of clam chowder. Both had exceptional flavor. My husband had the seafood stew which he said was his favorite dish (we were on a road trip). My kids enjoyed the kid's fettuccine and chicken strips. We sat on the patio as we had our dog with us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the nautical decor![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great. All in all, this is a great spot with fresh, delicious food.

Food was amazing the service was great as well! We also got a chowder bowl and we scarfed it down before we could even take a picture. All the food was delicious and fresh! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A smaller place but still was able to accommodate our party of 16![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This photo is from a month ago. I've been thinking about this chicken Alfredo since I left. I went to the coast for a night trip and found this spot the night I got there. I loved it so much I came back the next day when they opened and ate the exact same thing because I couldn't believe how good it was. This is my favorite restaurant on the coast. I'm making a trip to Newport specifically this week to get it again because I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!

We had lunch here today. It included the signature popcorn shrimp which is a local favorite. My friend had the Bourbon Peach prawn salad, with peach vinaigrette dressing. Both dishes were outstanding! Service was fantastic. Attentive, quick and friendly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is quintessential Oregon coastal vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to eat here again!

On the boardwalk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty small inside with some outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was friendly. Food was very good! Highly recommend Ordered Crab cake sandwich: husband said maybe the best crab cake he's had Fish and chips: the breading of the fish was perfect. Crispy but not heavy

Great halibut fish and chips, incredible prawn tacos! Super delicious food. A little pricey and service was just okay but we enjoyed our lunch here! The coleslaw was kinda brown... we didn't eat it. Otherwise it was great

I wanted to eat fresh cooked Dungeness crab, but Chelsea Rose only had fresh Dungeness crab, and Gino's offered Crab on their menu, so off we went to check them out! After sitting down and ordering found out they were out of stock on Dungeness crab , so since we were there we might as well eat! I ordered fresh Oysters on a half shell and the waiter made the mistake on also inputting oysters shooters which both were very fresh clean and tasty! The crab cakes were made with Dungeness crab meat and it was delicious and full of crab and not overly made with fillers. The clam chowder was okay, but a little heavy and thick, but taste was great and served with oyster crackers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, the staff were very friendly and informative![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restroom was clean, right across the restaurant was the pier and Riley's Believe it or not Museum.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Conveniently located lots of seafood processing plants nearby. But no Seafood markets near by.

Hidden gem! My top favorite restaurant in the historic bayfront district. Home made freshness and perfectly cooked food!

Hoping to find great seafood here as recommended by fellow Yelpers but was disappointed. The clam chowder was super thick and not enough clams. The fish and chips were just ok and so was the popcorn shrimp. The best part of the meal was the crab cakes which. Service was slow considering there was only 1 other table with people.

Me: Can I just get a beer and sit outside? Friendly staff: is your wife in the shop next door? Me: Staff: Yeah, we get that a lot

Just a beer on the patio. Food looks great. Staff are super nice. Would love to revisit!

Our friends asked what we wanted to eat. We said oysters. Holy cow best oysters I've had in a long time at the Coast. The food was amazing. From the Oysters on a half shell to the clam chowder . All the food and drinks were amazing. We will be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place looks like a hole in the wall that is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Located in the middle of the historic waterfront. Outdoor seating ~ sidewalk tables for two or picnic tables on the side. Pup friendly. As printed on the menu, most but not all seafood is caught locally. The usual fried selection. Portions are smaller with prices a bit higher. The Crew Share might sound like a lot but it is really small in quantity. Local beer. Service eh. A fun stop along the Newport boardwalk.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]don't be fooled by the underwhelming physical appearance, Gino's is a great stop while visiting the bay front![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they have solid food options both seafood and non-seafood. we tried the coconut prawns and as someone who isn't a seafood eater, even i liked it! service was good, nothing to write home about but overall it was a lovely experience with no complaints.

Only got the clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I must say it was excellent. Nice big chunks of fresh clam. And I'm a chowder snob

Been coming here for years and it's still a really solid breakfast spot…read more Today we had the eggs Benedict with honey bacon and the Rustic Scramble. Slightly spicy hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs and the sweet bacon on the Benedict pearched on house made biscuits. Scramble was healthy with chopped asparagus, pesto, scrambled eggs, sun dried tomatoes, honey bacon chunks, excellent combination of ingredients. Strong, rich coffee, on top of it service and normally a wait, but worth it.

I opted for the grilled cheese with an iced tea. My husband ordered the clam chowder with garlic bread. As I look around at all the tables near me all of the food from the hamburger to the salad looks delicious. The front door is open and the restaurant is warm. Outdoors it's only 54°. Kitchen is in the back of the restaurant, but there is heat radiated throughout the small restaurant. And loud noise of fans. The service was quick and polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant kept busy with people sitting at the tables outside as the lunch tables inside were filled. This is a small and cute place to have lunch. The wait staff was kind. We left our jackets in the restaurant and the waitress came out and found us still sitting in our car and gave us our jackets. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond. I would give this adorable café five stars.

It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!
