    Baked French toast
    Paul M.

Stopped by for breakfast and had a nice meal. Located a block from Nye Beach on the Oregon coast this is a cute spot for breakfast and lunch. Spanish themed menu, I went with something NOT Spanish and ordered the baked French toast. Consists of two pieces of bread and they put egg and some nuts on top and BAKE IT. Then it has marrionberries on top and whipped cream. It was good but not great. Will get a Spanish themed item next time. Got a side of bacon and it was over cooked. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can see why this place is popular

Turkey bacon avocado grilled sandwich with a cup of clam chowder

I made it back again and had a great Sunday lunch. Funny enough, I got the same thing I got last time! Turkey, bacon, and avocado grilled sandwich. It came with a side a chips (mini bag of Kettle chips). My kiddo ordered a cup of chowder (one of her favorite things) and she devoured the whole cup. They helped me out by adding the chowder as an upgrade to my meal so it came out cheaper than ordering is separately. Love a place that helps me save money! Great little lunch in a cozy little spot.

John Denver omelette with homemade sourdough toast - yum!

Great breakfast! A small eatery that I am sure will be very busy on the weekends. We showed up mid morning on a Thursday in October. We got one of the last tables. This place makes all their breads from scratch as well as their biscuits. Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide. I got the John Denver three egg omelette. It was stuffed to the gills with veggies and meat. I didn't care for the hash-browns, I wish I would have gotten the potatoes that came with the hash. My husband got the corned beef hash and that was amazing. The corned beef melted in your mouth. There was a great selection of hot sauces. Coffee comes in cute handmade mugs that are for sale. Would love to come back again when we are passing through. There are so many things I want to try. The service was quick and friendly.

Small and a bit cramped (some might say cozy) but it's got great homey vibes, and these guys have been slinging fantastic breakfasts and lunches for years. I've been several times in the last couple years and this last visit did not disappoint. My Blythe Breakfast burrito was absolutely delish -- who knew pairing polenta with eggs, beans and avocado would have such a great mouth feel? Hefty, too; it's my new fave. Wifey's breakfast sando (the Jude) was off the hook as well. This place is usually busy for good reason - plus they make their own bread. Friendly service, no attitude, and looks like it's family-run, so all in all a very comfy meal at a local gem.

We came for the GF chowder. They have GF bread Hubs got a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and it was toasted with cheese on the outside! The chowder was hearty and chunky. You can get it to go. The kiddo loved how cheesy his quesadilla was

Highly recommend!!! Food was top tier! Everything fresh and made in house. Eggs were cooked perfectly and bright orange and rich! We had the corned beef can't remember the name but it was mixed with peppers and onions and was topped with two fried eggs! Service was also top tier the cook even came out and gave us the most delicious hot oil to top the eggs of! The coziest little cafe super packed which is always a great sign! There was wait but we opted to sit at the picnic tables outside so we didn't have to wait. Even then on a cold day it was just fine! Plus you could hear the ocean while eating too! Best coffee ever too!!!

Very nice caffè, welcoming and cozy. Big thumbs up for their offering of gluten free pancakes and French toast!! Overall taste was just ok. I wouldn't go back for overall "deliciousness". But because of GF offering, I will. Good coffee. Easy parking.

Great food and friendly service. The chile relleno breakfast was amazing. Traditional breakfast was good also. Very clean

PARKING // Easy breezy - literally and FREE. Stret parking only but plenty of it. FOOD // scrambled eggs dry were very fluffy and light and flavorful. Biscuits are homemade and the jam is real fruit in-house made as well. Hash browns were a bit undercooked, but still edible. Coffee was very good. The cups are made by a local artist. AMBIANCE // Eclectic beach vibes meets boho. They pull it together very well. Spacious with just enough tables. Small ball area that serves alcoholic drinks as well. And a breakfast bar. SERVICE // this is a small family-run business. The service was very good. Very attentive, but not overbearing. This is definitely a breakfast stop on my list when I'm in Oregon.

Coastal quirk at its best! The atmosphere is traditional diner meats hole in the wall coffee shop. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was energetic, yet laid back, fun and offbeat. Our breakfast burrito and hash browns were perfect. Decently priced.

The gentleman waiter who has worked at The Coffee House for many years was so welcoming to us. He walked our first time diners through the menu expressing his favorites and top picks. So delicious and pairs excellent with a mimosa! Excited for their outdoor seating to open up this summer and we hope a few tables remain uncovered so I can work on my tan! Love you Coffee House!

We lucked out and arrived right as the largest table in the tiny place was finishing up so we got a table that comfortably fit the six of us. The waiter was super nice and helpful, especially since we started out saying we needed three checks. I ended up getting something I used to get years ago and was thrilled to see that they still had: pan-fried Yaquina Bay oysters and eggs, along with the homemade biscuit. Love that they have homemade bread and bread their own oysters and fish. I was worried that this place wouldn't be as good as it was when I used to go there 12 years ago with the new owners but it was as good as ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter was super kind and funny. Love to see this place still thriving.

" there is also a small gift shop. The server comes to my table quickly, and the food also comes quickly. I decided to go for the razor clams and eggs. I asked for the eggs lightly over easy, and I asked if I could have fruit, instead of potatoes. She said, no problem. The food comes, and it came with hash browns, instead of fruit. I didn't send the order back, because I needed to get on the road. The hash browns were okay, they were just your generic restaurant hash browns. The toast was a good quality sourdough, and the coffee was also very good. The star of this breakfast, was definitely the razor clams and eggs. The razor clams were just lightly breaded. Just right. They were a little chewier on the end, but hey, that's the foot of the clam. It's to be expected. The main body of the clam, was so tender, and the entire thing was a little bit sweet, a little bit savory, with just a "pop" of brininess. Absolutely amazing. They came with a good tartar sauce, but I didn't need it. It actually took away from the flavor a little bit. The eggs were also perfectly done, with plenty of the "yolk action" for dipping the clams that I love. The price was the higher end, but reasonable for what I got. I would come back just for that breakfast again. Thanks!!!
