They have a restaurant and a coffee bar. We tried the coffee bar. We got iced lattes and the very large cinnamon roll. The coffee was pretty good. The cinnamon roll was very good. It was light and fluffy and the frosting was not too sweet. This has been the best place we've stayed in Ocean Shores, value wise. It is much cleaner and nicer than the low cost options. And it is less expensive than some of the other more premium places.

However - I suggest booking straight through their site, as I had some issues with Booking - the staff at Beachwood was super kind and helped me navigate those issues and corrected it on their end which was appreciated as well. This place is super cute. It's at Copalis Beach, about 10 minutes from downtown Ocean Shores area, and it's a great option if you're looking to come up for a day or two. Check-in was quick and easy and the woman working the front desk was super sweet. She got us checked-in and on our way with the Wifi password quickly. I was nervous based off of past reviews, but our bungalow was amazing! Such a cute, cozy accommodation. You open the front door into the full living room, off to the left is a kitchenette with a mini fridge and stovetop, as well as ample counter space. Then there's also a full bathroom and a nice sized bedroom as well. And the bed was pretty comfy, even! On top of that there's also a cute patio space as well if you're in the mood to watch the sunset/sunrise. On top of being the perfect spot, it was really clean as well. Felt safe considering being in a pandemic. Highly recommend Beachwood Resorts - also really appreciate that you're able to book one night stays here! I know Quinault is still making you book a minimum of 2 nights so it was great to have this option that worked with our timeline.

The only 2 rods to hang things on are the towel rack in with the tub & toilet area, and the closet out in the main room. Very inconvenient. The outer portion of bathroom where the sink is, only has the cubbie. Initially that is filled with towels & bathrobes. The lack of a towel rack near the sink seems to be a growing trend at motels. What's with that? Otherwise, so far I've enjoy the in room Keurig coffee service and I'm impressed by the room's addition of wine glasses to the clear coffee cups & water glasses. The downside is the cups are a small 8 oz and I had to cycle twice for a decent amount of coffee. View great! Not sure the rest is worth it.

Walls were paper thin with neighbors hearing our conversations and them ours, in addition to bathroom noise. So much so that I felt bad showering in the evening. The bathroom towels were so thin that they just got soaked immediately. Upon walking in, the entire place had an odd, strong scent that I couldn't put my finger on what it was. However, it was something that stuck in my sinuses. The employee said that there are no artificial scents used, but that it could be a lemon floor cleaner. While it didn't smell like lemon, them must have douced the floor in a cleaning solution of some sort. Getting over that fact, the place was quaint and had a comfy bed is crucial. It is steps from the beach and public fireplaces, arcade and a coffee shop on property. Solid 3.5 stars.

We could cook, walk 10 minutes to the boardwalk, walk 2 minutes to sit on the rocks and smoke a cigar and even step outside and watch the marina. I loved staying here and will be back again. Prior to this visit, the rooms were fairly basic, but very adequate. Today, we arrived to find a beautifully updated room, that feels much bigger and much cleaner than they previously were. We have new appliances, new countertop and backsplash, new floors, a larger couch, a huge king bed, a walk-in shower with a new vanity, and everything is just stunning. Very well done! From the bottom units, you have a small deck with a bench, and upper units have a balcony. All rooms overlook the dunes, and the higher ones can catch you a glimpse of the ocean. You spend the evening listening to the roar of the waves. It's so relaxing. In the main office area, you'll find a recreation room, vending machines, and espresso stand with good coffee, and a huge saline pool that's in a solarium type of building. Their fitness center is small but it's something. They love dogs, and it shows. You'll get a welcome pack for your mutt, and there's a lighthouse themed dog house in the parking lot that you can take pictures of your dog with. There's two TVs - you can stream from your device in the bedroom, or watch cable in the living room. You'll have a gas fireplace, a lounge chair, a couch that folds out into a bed with a nice, squishy mattress, and a two person dining table. The staff here have been here a long time, and it's always nice to see a familiar face when we arrive. Shout out to Kevin! Always friendly and helpful. It's about a five minute drive to downtown Long Beach, where you'll find a bakery, an arcade, and lots of shops and restaurants. Don't forget you can even drive on the beach! You'll love it here.
