They have all the spices and spice levels down. I always make sure to have some business to do in Gainesville even though I live 40 minutes away just so I can eat here. Was in Gainesville recently so I made my usual stop in for a lunch of cumin lamb bao and beef in dry wok. Wow! It was fantastic. They'll really spice it up with lots of hot pepper and mouth-numbing Szechuan pepper corns and will not hold back if you request so (see the receipt pic I posted). I've also had the mapo tofu, cumin lamb dinner and dan dan noodles here and it's been a 20/10 every time. I posted pix of those here too. Probably the best dan dan I've ever had. If you like this style of Chinese cooking, you MUST go here! Definitely worth a trip to Gainesville or if you just happen to find yourself there and are looking for a great place to eat. There were a couple things that held it back. I was served a drink that was close to eight months expired. I did not make a big deal about it and still drank it, but that is something they definitely need to stay on top of. Also, the menu said Pepsi products but only Coke was available. With better inventory checks and a more updated menu, this place could easily be a five star spot. It is just not quite there yet.

I have to say when this place first opened it was not bad. However, we went there tonight and probably for the last time. I call ahead before we went in to see how late they were open. I called at 8:40 and they said they were open till 10:30, so off we went my bf and I. We got there and there were some people which slowly turned into lots of other people showing up after us. The food was not fresh there were 2 or 3 crab legs in the steam table filled with the dirty murky water. And as for everything else looked like it ha been sitting there for a few hours. I picked a few items and sat down everything was cold :-(. You would think they would cook fresh and have more since there were people. All in all a disappointment and not worth 27 bucks plus tip. read more

Been to this joint many times. Use to be fresh and quick refill. These days the quality of food is dropping quiet a bit and they purposely made things over salty so people can eat less... Just one advise, cheap price won't be the only element for wining competition read more

This restaurant has gone up and down over the past few years. Glad to say it is back up. Great assortment of foods with a Mongolian Grill added. Interesting note: a sign that says you're only allowed to stay 2 hours, not for weight watchers. read more
