Did not wear gloves in a pandemic, did not put a base powder on my nails when I asked for dip, when my cousin got her acrylics they did not let the acrylic dry before placing the nail polish so her nails were extremely thick and un-proportional. First time coming here and I will be back. Made a same day appointment, on a busy Saturday. They were able to accommodate my request for a 6pm appointment for a full set and pedicure even though they close at 7pm. Parking is on street. The salon is small and not super new or fancy, but they clearly have good business as the place was full when I arrived. I was helped as soon as I walked in and was soaking my feet within 5 mins. Cindy did my pedicure and took time to give a little leg rub and placed hot towels on my legs/feet. Hueyn AKA HD did my acrylics and I love them. They are perfectly even, perfectly shaped, and not flaking any acrylic. She cleaned them up real good. She also stayed late to finish, almost an hour past closing. Everyone was really friendly and enjoyed some nice small talk with the ladies. They took the time to get to know me which was a nice touch. Made me feel like I was a regular on my first visit. I've had my nails done twice by them now. I've loved it both times. 1. Time they were really busy, and took me and my daughter with little complaint. I wouldn't even say the complained, just took a few minutes of confused shuffling and seated me right away. She took me between another walk in, who was equally okay with being swapped out with me just to get her nails done by her favorite. We swapped in and out, and it only took maybe 40 minutes, since we both were getting full sets! :) they even died down as we finished, and they painted my daughters nails! 2. My and my MIL came in for Mother's Day, we had both of my kids with us. I got my usual, full set, gel nails. This time I was a little annoyed at the reactions to my son. He's 1, won't sit still long. My manicurist was fantastic with my pausing and moving. The other ladies, (egged on by some lady who'd brought her dog in and keeping saying how she "didn't want my son near her and the dog." I'm guessing because she didn't want her dog to bite my son) kept telling me to get him, get home. When he was standing no more than a foot away from me, just looking. Thankfully the other lady's (pedicure ladies) were helpful and played with him, shows him nail polishes and other items. When he wasn't in mine or m MILs lap. Still good, but other customers ruined it. read more

This is a family owned business. Meaning everyone that works there is family. Make sure you call ahead of time for an appointment. They get really busy. Although, walk-ins are welcome, if they are busy, you will wait, and they will complain under their breath in their native language. They must think some customers might not understand them, but we do. There regular wall nail colors are mostly reds. They have a variety of color dips. "Some" of them really do not know how to do dips. They come out thick. Their GEL nails seem not as popular as before. NOW, their pedicures are really good!! They are reasonably price for manicure and pedicure. Dips are pricey! Eyebrows as well. The place is clean and parking can be challenging. Bring tip in cash. read more

I got a manicure and pedicure here today for the first time and it was great! The woman who did my nails was super nice. The place was clean. She even took the time to take care of my ingrown nails which NO ONE ever does. I've been to "fancy" spas for a $45 pedicure and they won't even do that. My only complaint is that my Axxium manicure came out lighter than I like. But she did an extra coat, so I blame that on the color being light and me not speaking up to ask for a 4th coat. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it's a good size for them. I saw Trinh and she did an awesome job on my feet and hands. She was a pleasure to talk to. She gave me an awesome pedicure! I went on this past Saturday morning (7/27) to get gel acrylic nails (ombree natural looking color) & my nails already look awful. The tips are white & are turning yellow? Cheap nail polish I am assuming. Overall design from very beginning looked very different than any other "ombree style" nails I have gotten before. Long story short, I was charged 58$ for these nails that should last 3-4 weeks and are ruined in less than 1 week. It was my 1st time going here & will take my business elsewhere :). After being closed for 3 months, this salon has new management and new policy. Before closing, one person did your manicure and pedicure. Now, the manager does manicure and someone else does pedicure. Also, I was asked if I wanted them to use the razor on my feet and it would cost an additional $3.00. I would not recommend this salon. My manicure was good but pedicure was painful and not good. read more

I'm so happy I finally found my go-to nail place! I had a gel manicure (for only 25 bucks) with Huyen and I am so pleased with the results. She is so friendly and very easy to talk to. The overcharge so much for no reason, i got a gel manicure and they charged $50 (charged a lot for taking off old gel too). I also had gotten my eyebrows done for $10 (Average price) But she has waxed off an eighth of the front of my eyebrow and didn't even show me after or say anything about it. I have been here several times and love it. I live 45 minutes away and always wait until I visit friends in Lynn to get my nails done here just because they are so good and so fairly priced. I'm a professionally employed person who's been frequenting Ocean City Nails on occasion over the last 2 - 3 years. I've noticed that as time went by, the studio seems dirtier and the attitude of the manicurists got more arrogant. I don't know if it's because they've gotten the Best of Lynn for nail salons a few times or what, but the last time I was there the manicurist was arrogant and rude to the point that I'll never go back. Her attitude was that she was doing me a BIG favor. I usually ask for the same manicurist every time, and I always tip 30%. I got a pedicure yesterday in Saugus. read more

Came for the dip powder that they said they knew how to do, they had about 5 colors to choose from and 3 of them were neon pink. I picked the least pink one and when it was on my nail looked exactly like the others I was told it was probably old from sitting out in the sun. I should have left then to be honest but I thought ok let's change the color ended up having to layer it in orange to make this ugly salmon color but it was better than neon pink. Finish nails and do my toes mind you a had tips on from 3 weeks ago still holding strong for a better salon and the ONE nail that I had to have replaced here is the same one that snapped off like kids stick on nails within 24 hours! Now that I have the ugly salmon color that was a mix of 2 powders from this place I call and ask to come in and get it mixed thinking they have some pride in their work and would make it right and felt like I had to go there to make sure the color matched so only they could fix it. They "fixed" nail is lopsided and doesn't match the others and I have to point out the obvious differences before they file it more then I got to get my tip and get out of this place and I hear I'm being charged $4 on top of the $58 I spent the day before like really??? The one nail that was done completely here and it snaps off in less than 24 hours and you even charge to fix it like it wasn't your horrible job in the first place. Lesson learned there's a reason this place is so cheap save your money and GO ELSEWHERE!! read more
