Great salon for various reasons; Nancy is my go to when getting my nails done. She always takes her time and pay close attention to detail. Excellent manicure and pedicure treatment, done right. From looking at the menu of services, they do dip powder, acrylic, gel, silk wrap, designs, everything you could ask for. I also come here for waxing services, the owner Stacy does the waxing and I have always been satisfied. They offer facial and body waxing with prices for individual sections of hair such as eyebrows($10), Brazilian(35 and up), a full body ($170). Looking at the menu, they also do fake lashes and facials. The parking is horrendous, the spots or narrow and there are a lot of businesses in the same plaza(2 restaurants, a laundromat. and a convenience store). Worth figuring it out though. I'm so picky when it comes to manicures because I usually do my own nails -- I'm borderline OCD and very detail oriented :) when I do my nails, they're perfect. I expect the same when I pay someone for a manicure but I'm usually disappointed. So, imagine my pleasant surprise when my manicure tonight came out flawless! The nail tech I had was very detail oriented and fast. Everything from dead skin to cuticles to filing and polishing -- it was all flawless. I wish I had a place this good closer to me! A friend recommended this place to me for their waxing services. I needed my underarms done, I usually do them myself but I tossed out my wax warmer. So I wanted to give them a try! I kid you not I laid down and got right back up. She literally took two minutes and it was completely painless. Not once did she had to pluck anything or go over it. Everyone at Stacy's is very kind and welcoming. (That's the first thing I look for) the experience was pleasant and I do like the way Jackie did my nails. But what stood out to me was how the owner Stacy handled herself so very professionally when a very rowdy customer showed up. It took 3 employees today to fix my nails and still got it wrong. In my personal opinion i think the owner has employees there that aren't licensed to do nail. I got a brazilian wax here, and it was brutal enough for me to never even come back to get my nails done. The older woman who waxed me double-dipped and had a lot of trouble on one patch of hair. She really struggled with it, it was painful, and I had whiteheads the next day all over my skin. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with folliculitis, put on rounds of antibiotic medications. When I called and asked for a refund, the young woman on the phone denied it had ever happened, and offered me another at a discounted price. Like I'd put my body through that again! read more

Here's the scene: my boyfriend promised he'd do something girly with me to make up for me going to a poker tournament with him. I chose pedicure. Of course, being an American male, he whined and moaned about having to do something so stereotypical female. He even insisted we go a town over from where he lives, just in case we saw anyone he knew. When we walked in and Stacy verified that it was two pedicures, he made a note that I was making him come (rolls eyes). We came about an hour before closing on Sunday night, so it was pretty empty and we got seated in the massage chairs for pedicures right away. Jump to the end, when I moved to the fans to dry my polish and my boyfriend, who was done earlier than me because he didn't get any color, came to me and said, "well, that was incredibly pleasant. Thank you for making me come." Success! Stacy and the other girls were also very friendly and two pedicures with tip cost $50. No frills, you get what you pay for. Went for a pedicure, price was right. Took the opening appt and glad I did. Every other place I've ever been to opens the package of tools in front of you. This place pulled over a rolly cart, opened a drawer and removed the utensils - no packages and no sterilizers in sight. Pedi chair worked fine, polish was fine, good selection of colors, and service was great but I just have some concerns. It appears they've been around for a while so I'm sure its fine perhaps they sterilize everything in a back room. Also, they do waxing. It was very busy for their waxing services. Again, great prices but I think I'll pay the extra money and continue going to European Wax Center for my waxing. read more

Poor service, after waiting for more than 35 minutes Stacy (the owner) painted my nails. Horrible job, I did manicure & shellac, my nails had bumps and she missed a few spots in more than 4 fingers. I went back and spoke to her about the issue she said I was rushing her, that's was so no true and then she told me to comeback the next day so someone else can fix it. I go get my eyebrows done here frequently, but today I went in and got the other lady instead of Stacy . She did my eyebrows, they came out really good not going to lie . But what I didn't notice till I left is that she ripped off some skin and instead of telling me. She just put some lotion over it and let me walk out. Which just irritated the burn and my skin more . She is very personable and friendly and always does an amazing job on my manicures and pedicures. Never had an issue. This has been my go to nail spot for almost a year now. I went in to get silk wrap on my natural nail that broke a bit, & though barely busy they refused me & told me to come back in a few hours. I couldn't make it so I returned the following day & they gave me the run around saying there was no one avaiIable to help me. There was a nail tech available & the nail tech who usually does my nails was finishing a paint job. There was no other customers in the shop. Finally she admitted she didn't wanna help simply because natural nails just break & I would just have to deal with it - they do silk wrap services. They've done it before. Great prices and a great pedicure! They give you a nice long leg and foot massage which can be hard to find especially for less than $30! Only issue is that sometimes the nail polish comes off a little sooner than I'd like but this place is definitely worth it just for the foot massage alone! read more

Walked in around 12:30 on a Sunday. Only waited a few minutes. I was getting a pedicure and a fill with my friend. The pedicure hurt a little bit but I think I just might be sensitive as well. All of a sudden there's this large repetitive banging sound. One of the ladies said it was just the laundry. It was kind of funny. The woman doing my toes cut my big toe from cutting my cuticles too low, it looked like it was going to bleed, but it just stung a lot. After my pedi they started on my nails. My one complaint was it too way to long to do my refill. She filled my nails with way too much acrylics thus it took way more time to grind down. I always get almond nails and the shape was off. Another girl named Melina came and saved my nails but shaping them the way I wanted! My nails came out great except for the fact that their hand and feet dryers don't work very well. I dried my hand for over 15 mins and even 7 hours later I'm still getting nicks and dents in my nail polish. The ladies were very nice and the shop was pretty but I probably won't return. read more

i've come here for a brazilian wax and that was fine, went well whatever. i came here again for lash extensions. she basically glued them all in a straight line and glued my lashes together. she also made them much thicker than i asked for. a week later they start to come off a little. that's fine, i only wanted them for the weekend. i myself started to pick some of them off. i decide to go back in and ask them to remove them. they asked me if i could come back at a later time because they were busy. i said yes and went back at that later time and once again i was told to wait. meanwhile there were two women sitting aside doing nothing. i understand if they are not certified to remove the lashes but why have the one woman who is, do someones nails while they knew i would be coming in? they are very disorganized and i will not return for lash extensions or removal again. read more

When I first met her she was working at another salon in Boston that was closer to campus and she did massage, nails and waxing. Now that I'm out of school and Boston, I've experimented with a few salons closer to home but no matter the price I leave feeling cheated because they rushed through the manicure or did a poor wax job. I used to love this place. I go in to get refills and I always get gel nail polish. Well my last couple of time going to Stacey's has been a disaster. The gel nail polish had began to peel 2 days after getting my nails done. Not to mention I pay to get crystals put on my nails and those fall of too. I was impressed by Stacy's nails since the moment I walked in. I was greeted right away and only had to wait a few minutes to start, which I didn't mind as it was fairly busy. I got an acrylic refill done and I was amazed at the quality of work Jackie did. In the past I've had horrible experiences with getting a fill (including ripping off my acrylics to put on a new set, cutting the nail too short, or even cutting me) but I have no complaints here. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she went to work. Not only did the design look better than the original picture, but she only charged me $8 extra dollars for designs on both of my ring fingers. I was amazed to see a spanish nail tech working in a nail salon,but Ida is the best,I got my feet and shellac done by Ida and she is the one to go to,let me tell you,for the first time in my life I got a pedi very well done,I felt I was walking on the air after she was done with my pedi and my shellac lasted for 3 weeks-no chipping!!! She is so friendly and care so much about her clients nails,she never once over filed my nails,not a single cut (normally other nail techs cut my cutiles so deep it makes them bleed) not with Ida! Even though she didn't know me,she made me feel like if I was her client for a long time and man she sure made me laugh,she takes her time-no rushing and I loved that!! I sent a co-worker to get her acrylics nails done with her,and my co-worker was very happy and pleased,her nails lasted 2 1/2 weeks,no lifting.I have found the perfect place to go for my feet and nails and boy the perfect nail tech too!!!
