I wish I could give far more than five stars!…read more Dr. Bechay and staff were so welcoming, friendly, and made my visit so pleasant. I had my first cleaning appointment today with the wonderful hygienist, Kelli, and I was truly amazed by the level of care and attention I received. There are several things I would like to highlight because this experience was so different from any dental office I have visited before. Before she began, Kelli offered me protective glasses so the overhead light wouldn't bother my eyes, and she asked me if I have any sensitive areas. When I mentioned that my front teeth are sensitive, she started with those teeth and treated them with extra care and gentleness. Before continuing with the rest of the cleaning, she told me that I could raise my hand at any time if I felt discomfort or pain. Kelli was incredibly thorough and took her time. Beyond the excellent cleaning itself, I appreciated her positive and encouraging approach. Instead of focusing on criticism, she pointed out the healthy aspects of my oral health, such as how good my gums looked. It was refreshing to feel supported rather than judged. Beyond her professionalism, Kelli has such a warm, kind, and charming personality. She asked thoughtful questions, genuinely cared about my comfort, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire appointment. She is, without a doubt, the best dental hygienist I have ever had. For the first time in my life, I am actually looking forward to my next dental cleaning!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smiles from the folks at the front desk including Erika, who initially setup my appointment. Erika made sure all my questions were answered and made setting up my first appointment a breeze. All the initial forms were online which made my first visit very easy. The hygienist Karely was extremely thorough and gentle during the cleaning process. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She also gave me some great tips on how to improve my oral hygiene routine. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. After my cleaning, I met with Dr. Kevin Lynn DDS for a check-up. He was equally as friendly and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. He also gave me some helpful advice on how to maintain my dental health. I felt like I was in good hands with both Karely and Dr. Lynn. The dental group I used previously did everything they could do to upsell me with all sorts of unnecessary products and services. I am so happy to say, there was none of that here. Just honest and professional all the way! The Rolling Hills Dental Group office is clean and well-maintained. The staff makes the overall experience pleasant and comfortable and stress free. I highly recommend Dr. Lynn, Karely and the Rolling Hills Dental Group to anyone looking for quality dental care on the hill, or for all of the South Bay for that matter. My teeth feel great, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you, Rolling Hills Dental Group, for a fantastic experience!

I rarely leave reviews, but feel this could save further patients from having a similar experience…read more I wish I could leave negative marks. Have had nothing but issues at this clinic, with Dr. Sutherland in particular. His staff for the most part do a good job, but the incompetence is at the doctor level. I've had the misfortune to see a lot of dentists over the years, so have a pretty good radar for who's good and who's not. Here there is this aura of arrogance, which trickles down from Dr. Sutherland. I should've known after just a few minutes in his chair. I had some normal issues with a tooth and old filling and came to see him. He rushed in, didn't ask any questions, didn't even look inside my mouth but only took an X-ray. Later he said that's all he needed to do what he needed to do, which was a crown at more than $2000.00 and a procedure that didn't even include a root canal. After suffering through lingering pain, his lackluster workmanship showed when the crown fell off during a European vacation. I saw a doctor in Italy and he looked at the tooth and crown and immediately said that it was poor workmanship, plain and simple. Once back he refused to see me for almost a week, citing schedule conflict. As I write this I'm waiting for the new crown that's made from 'superior material' to be prepared and attached. This is my 4th trip to the office for the same issue. I'm not asking for him to be a world class dentist, but normally when people lack a skill, they make up for it with good service, communication, accountability, responsibility. But these concepts are foreign to Dr. Sutherland. From start to finish it's been a case of 'I know what I'm doing, so let me do it'. No apologies for work done wrong, no questions or recommendations or dialog, just a one sided, very expensive, highly rude process. Out of all medical professions I feel dentistry is closest to artistry. There needs to be a talent and an eye for the detail and orientation to be perfect. In all the dentists I've had over the years Dr. Sutherland is the least talented, most incompetent dentist I've ever witnessed. Sadly his work will be with me for some years to come, but I'll be sure to never come here again once I leave his chair.

They maybe are good in cleaning and simple dental work, but watch out if you need a crown, bridge or any kind of serious work, before agreeing with them check under Steven Sutherland (dentist) and the office Digital Smiles, read more than 100 schoking reviews. One of them said that he was sanctioned by the Dental Board. Actually here in Google, you can find bad reviews under Steven Sutherland name. This dentist probably was a real bad student, but graduated any way. Yeah, the staff is super nice of course, even though there's a lot of them receiving trainings in your mouth. Yes, they're nice until Dr. starting to making mistakes and they can't sorry no more or the Doctor is incapable to fix. This dentist broke my tooth trying to input the bridge. Can you image a doctor that study to fix teeth, but instead he breaks. Incompetence is the name his game. He lies, when he promisses crowns and bridges at same day, but took 2 months to deliver mine and my husband's that fell off same day first time, and kept feeling off until I cannot stand to go back to reglue it and look to these people anymore. He called the security for me, when I complained about a service paid, and not received. I am going to a real dentist that was terrified to see the destruction he did in my mouth. Overdrilled my tooth (that's why the bridge was falling), I have to put a implant, he said a had a infection and extracted my tooth, pulled off good crowns I had. Please buyer, please look into yelps reviews, and there's have a lot to say.

When I went to THAT appointment they had yet another BRAND NEW assistant (they can't seem to get/keep good, experienced assistants) who proceeded to numb my gum and then tried to take a successful X-ray, which she never got. The office manager, Pearl, came in and asked me what my concern was...WHAT???? I said I was there for a new crown because the other one had fallen off 3x. I asked if they had made a new crown and she said she didn't know...then she proceeded to tell me that SHE was going to get X-rays. I was very confused and upset by this time and told her so. She got snotty and I told her not to get an attitude with me. She said she was only trying to help. After another 5 X-rays she walked out and a few minutes later Dr. Sutherland appeared. HE asked me what my concern was.....the "chipped" crown? CHIPPED??? That was a completely new idea!! I said, "it's chipped? News to me...it has fallen off 3x and I was told this appointment was for a new crown!!" He replied that there isn't enough of the tooth to hold a crown and the only alternative is to EXTRACT THE TOOTH!!!! I told him he will never touch anything in my mouth again and that I want a refund! He tried to offer a referral for another dentist and I told him I already have one. He told me he will absolutely give me a refund after reviewing the new dentist's notes and diagnosis. Went to new dentist where it was determined after completing a probe of my gums that the tooth with the problem crown has an 8mm pocket in the buccal gum area (the back of the tooth) and the crown is abnormal and defective. Sutherland's office never probed the gums or the pocket would have been discovered and the crown never would have been put on the tooth to begin with! The new dentist sent an email to Sutherland...I have tried calling and he is on "vacation" and Pearl doesn't have time to talk to me and is not returning my calls. Sutherland was sanctioned by the CA Dental Board in B September 2017 for unethical practices (anyone can Google it) and was placed on "probation." When I told Pearl I read this tidbit, she said it wasn't Sutherland himself, but one of his employees....yeh, sure. But, I wonder if unethical practices include a hygienist in a spiffy white doctor's coat, who introduces himself as "Dr. Khan." I asked Pearl about it (this was prior to crown fiasco) and her reply was that he might be a doctor in India but here he is only a hygienist. Hmmmmm....and they allow him to misrepresent himself?? I will be contacting my credit card company to get a reversal of charges for the total amount of the crowns for both my husband and me (his fell off also and there were other issues). I will also be contacting the dental board and hopefully all 3 of "Dr." Sutherland's offices will be shut down!!!

Recently, I went in for a routine exam and basic cleaning. The new doctor (Cameron Adam Kwiatkouski) was friendly at first. Knowing this office's reputation, I explicitly asked him to "keep it light" when probing my gums. The exam went smoothly. He explicitly concluded by saying everything looked good, they would just "keep an eye" on a few spots, and that my routine cleaning would start shortly. Everything changed 15 minutes later. The doctor walked back in with a completely different story. Suddenly, he claimed I was bleeding heavily (untrue--the tools were clean, and I tasted no blood) and that my gum pockets were measuring at "5s." Crucially, he never called out a single "5" while actually doing the probe measurement during the exam. He then aggressively pitched a "deep cleaning" package. I calmly told him I wanted to proceed with just the regular cleaning covered by my insurance, and that I would step up my flossing at home. He refused to drop it, added a laundry list of expensive descaling items to my file, and left. This office operates like a predatory car dealership. They trap you in the dental chair in a semi-laying down position, and bring in a front-desk staff member trained in high-pressure sales tactics. They even have digital signature pads and monitors mounted right next to your hand to "motivate" you to sign financial contracts on the spot. A representative named Michelle came in to close the sales pitch demanding I shell out ~$600 out of pocket on the spot. I sat completely upright to break their routine tactic and told her, "No thanks, I just want my basic cleaning." Michelle took the paperwork to the back office. The doctor refused to come back out and face me himself. Instead, he sent Michelle back to inform me that because I was overdue since my last dental visit, he "was not comfortable" reccomending a normal cleaning. They completely denied me the basic preventive care fully covered by my insurance simply because I refused to be scammed out of $600. This place prioritizes corporate sales quotas over actual patient health. If you want an ethical dentist who won't invent fake diagnoses and deny you insured care, go somewhere else.
