    So many beers on draft!
    Riley S.

Awesome! No questions asked added 5 more rides which are great for kids and also have a new gift store and food inside and about 15 beers on draft so it's perfect for the kids and the parents :)

Just from my point of view, I counted 7 empty swings from the long line I was waiting in.

15 stars for the SeaWorld staff!…read more My uncle ended up getting sick during our visit, and although he was being VERY stubborn about accepting help , the staff were absolutely incredible. A huge thank you to Julie with Safety, Health Services Department Will, and Kala. They were so patient, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire situation. They never made us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience and went above and beyond to make sure my uncle was okay. It's one thing to provide good customer service, but the compassion these three showed when someone wasn't feeling well really stood out. SeaWorld is lucky to have employees like them. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of my uncle!

We started off by getting our photo taken by a professional SeaWorld Photographer, at the SeaWorld ROCK!!! I had arrived early, with My Partner, and I went to Guest Services to arrange for all the little details, along with getting MY ELECTRIC EV SCOOTER. We then waited for our GUESTS, and once they arrived and we got our photo taken, WE MADE OUR WAY TO THE TOWER!!! We always start there, AND MY GUESTS WERE IMPRESSED!!! We started slowly with SHARKS, SEA TURTLES and then the DOLPHIN ADVENTURE!!!

One ship was away on a sail in the afternoon this past Saturday, but there was more than enough to explore on the various vessels during our visit. Plenty to see and experience on each of the boats. We stepped onto the swift boat where staff educated us about its machine gun. And we walked through and checked out the different sections of the USS Dolphin submarine too. The HMS Surprise was a lovely ship with plenty of references to its use in films. The Star of India was like a museum all on its own, so many areas to explore and a ton of history to learn. The Californian was pretty basic, not very different from many other ships we've visited in the past. Steam Ferry Berkeley was the largest, with displays showcasing scientific instruments, model boats, artwork, the riverboats in Vietnam, the engine room, a torpedo caught by a fisherman, and a special exhibit featuring the "histories of the black pacific". There's a gift shop on site as well. Altogether, the variety of ships at the Maritime Museum made for an interesting adventure, a bit touristy, but worth the cost if you're into history or simply like boats.

Ok so I will split this into two reviews:…read more 1: the ships and actual adventure 2: the reservation process and customer service 1: booked a trip for the Spanish replica ship adventure the San Salvador and really loved it. The ticket also got you access to the other ships to walk around which was cool. But the coolest part was that San Salvador was sailed like they would have sailed it waaay back when. We got to see real rigging masts sails steering all being done by a crew and it was a totally amazing experience and such a perfect day. Bonus: we saw dolphins and it was a perfect day. Drawback: the gentlemen speaking throughout didn't talk into his mic often so missed a lot but oh well - who's really going for history?! such a good time!!. 2. I had a good with my tickets and called and tried to talk to folks in person and could never get someone. The tickets were cancelled but not refunded which was a bummer and staff in the kiosk even said they phone lines were messed up. A bummer. :(

Such a great experience for our first Whale Watching trip, great even with our 3 year old! Worth…read morethe cost, we were out for a bit over 3 hours. Check in process was easy, just follow the email instructions, all very clear. Bring sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses. You can bring your bags and snacks. There is plenty of space under the benches for your belongings. Lots of options for seating all around the boat, both inside and out. Also 2 restrooms available. As well as a Galley with snacks and souvenirs! I didn't realize, but they also sell photo packages of the wildlife from the trip. So you can focus on documenting your group and the good time, They'll capture the animals! :) This crew was Captain Vanessa, Naturalist Ruth, Deck crew Colleen and Sara, and Galley Oscar. They were all so helpful and accommodating. I cannot tell you how warm and inviting they all were. You could definitely tell they loved their jobs. For me...So, despite Dramamine and sea sickness bands I got really nauseous; and I think my 3 year old did too but couldn't verbalize, because she passed out about 1.5 hours into the trip-so I was just kind of sitting towards the back holding my toddler mid trip. Which is about the time when the whales appeared! (Up to that point we saw different birds, pods of dolphins and sea lions.) So these whales on our trip were on the starboard side when they appeared, but I was on the port side, kinda stuck sitting with my sleeping toddler. At one point Colleen came and asked if she could help me move to see the whales, but that was easier said than done, especially not feeling well. I let her know she was sweet but we were okay. Well as the boat tracked the whales, I guess Colleen and Sara both mentioned to the captain that we were kind of stuck in the back on the Port side and the captain ended up turning the boat towards the whales so I could see them. It was the sweetest thing and I felt so seen as a mama. :) I didn't know how a whale watching trip could go above and beyond, but they did! We did a 12:30pm tour on a Monday and there seemed to be a good crowd, but they were not at full capacity, which meant moving around was an option for those that wanted to. We will be back, this was a great choice!

I'm rounding up a little; if half stars were allowed, this would be a 3.5 from me…read more The good: Nice crew, clean boat, lots of food options available (very pleasant surprise), we saw whales (huge bonus but out of anyone's control on the boat), the captain made sure to spin around to let everyone see them when we did spot some, though - that was cool. One of the crew members took pictures on a DSLR and sold them to us if we couldn't get good enough pics ourselves. You can buy early access to the ship to pick out a good spot, or you can buy a VIP ticket to have access to your own section of the boat right up front. The things I didn't enjoy - which, honestly, I'm not sure how the crew would handle any differently than they did. Some of the people on the boat were super rude. Lots of coughing in close quarters without covering their mouths; one group of people was so hellbent on getting the perfect pictures that they all stood in front of each section of people at least once, running side to side instead of giving everyone turns. The captain did ask that everyone take turns, but the behavior stayed the same all ride. A couple of people actually stood in front of other people who remained seated, completely blocking their views. The bad: You were supposed to get there early to check in and line up, but there is nothing to do in the area, and no seating, so prepare to stand in a line for an hour if you get there right when they say to. The photo package was really expensive for what you got. 3 hours is a long time to be on a boat not learning about things - lots of lulls in programming.

We came the first week of November on their soft opening. Located inside the double doors, you'll find Hakkai occupying a tiny space no more than 200 sqft that mimics an art gallery, except it ranges from small to large aquariums or shall I say "tanks" with living creatures inside as in tree branches, wood, stones. You can buy what you see or create your own. Other shelf items are fertilizers, rocks, and plants. What is aquascape? It's a form of art, an "under water gardening" activity. Before this, I never knew this type of hobby existed. Just like gardening, aquascape has many styles: Iwagumi style Manzanita wood Dutch tank Aquascaping Planted tanks Rimless tank Low iron tanks The service here is wonderful. The staff will help you on your tank needs whether you're a newbie or a veteran. They even sell already curated tanks. Aquascape is like the latest paint with wine or pottery activity because Hakkai offer group workshops where you can learn how to design your own tank! Hands on classes are offered at this location in the courtyard. The workshops are offered by skill level, types of styles and some are free while others require a fee. This activity would be great as a gift or for yourself especially when it's outdoors and you can maintain social distance during CoVId.
