Underwhelming experience at Turtle Reef, SeaWorld! Small exhibit, limited turtle viewing, no interactive experiences, overcrowded and lacking educational content. Disappointing for the price and hype.

Definitely worth the price of admission. Probably one of the best visual attractions here at Sea World. You get up close and personal. You see the turtles and fish and on the other side of the glass - they see you. With tons of space to roam around and air conditioning on full blast, it is an ideal spot to relax and take a break from all the action. I'll be back for sure because my son who is a toddler is mesmerized by all the movement and unique xol

This was a very fun and magical experience. It also served as a nice spot to chill and stay away from the sun

Large plexiglass windows provide a unique perspective of turtle life underwater. - Depending when you visit, the number of turtles on display vary. They usually have a few of loggerhead, green sea turtles, and hawksbills on display. - If you can, avoid the video game room. It's crowded and the game takes a long time to complete ( Which means the line moves slowly) - When you leave you get dumped right into a gift shop.

Well Date Of Visit: January 6, 2020 and I was feeling that coming to Sea World would be fun and I always enjoy coming to Sea World !! So Off I went to Sea World And I was expecting to see a lot of shows but since it was after the holidays there were not to many shows to see but the cool part is we had the most of the park to ourselves not to many people today !! So I went to Turtle Reef and As you walk in it's like an Big aquarium with these big Sea Turtles swimming everywhere and a bunch of fishes everywhere also !! It's great for everyone and lots of people enjoy taking photos with the Sea Turtles And Fishes !! They also allow strollers inside to which is pretty cool if you plan on bringing kids !! I always enjoy coming to see the Big Sea Turtles And fishes !! I do suggest you give it a Walk through and you will enjoy it !! I can find myself returning and enjoying again !!

A cute corner dedicated to turtles, the first part of the attraction takes you through a large aquarium filled with sea turtles and fish, some interactive games and screens, then you enter a souvenir store then out the other end outside where there is a ride. I like going here just to watch the turtles, it can get crowded in here, but it's a nice place to get away from the heat on those hot days. In the exhibit there's an announcer that comes on every couple of minutes to give some fun facts about the animals and is available for questions. Note: Strollers are allowed through this exhibit. Previously the location of the Manatees (which I do miss) there is a lot more traffic here than there used to be.

I LOVE CURSH!!!!! I mean turtles. This is a new attraction at Sea World (the other is Shark Encounter). I have to say the lighting in this water tank to see the fish and turtles are WAY BETTER than the other ones they had. The glasses here are SO CLEAR (since they're new) that you feel as if you're right next to the turtles and fish. This new attraction is also more interactive than the other older fish attractions they have had. Inside this attraction, there's a section where the glasses are curved, and you can step inside to take pictures with the fish and turtles. It feels as if you're surrounded by the fish. I would definitely want to come back and visit here again!

My niece enjoyed this exhibit the best! I have to agree with her. My only recommendation is to have a Sea World employee educating everyone inside about sea turtles. I think it would be great. However, the large aquarium to watch sea turtles and fishes behave in their "natural" habitat serves it's purpose. All the kids and parents seem to enjoy it, which is great!

Ok so I will split this into two reviews:…read more 1: the ships and actual adventure 2: the reservation process and customer service 1: booked a trip for the Spanish replica ship adventure the San Salvador and really loved it. The ticket also got you access to the other ships to walk around which was cool. But the coolest part was that San Salvador was sailed like they would have sailed it waaay back when. We got to see real rigging masts sails steering all being done by a crew and it was a totally amazing experience and such a perfect day. Bonus: we saw dolphins and it was a perfect day. Drawback: the gentlemen speaking throughout didn't talk into his mic often so missed a lot but oh well - who's really going for history?! such a good time!!. 2. I had a good with my tickets and called and tried to talk to folks in person and could never get someone. The tickets were cancelled but not refunded which was a bummer and staff in the kiosk even said they phone lines were messed up. A bummer. :(

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is honestly one of the most impressive history museums I've…read morevisited because the artifacts are the museum. You aren't just looking at history -- you're surrounded by ships that actually survived it. The Star of India, launched in 1863, survived mutiny, violent storms, collisions at sea, and decades carrying immigrants across dangerous oceans. Some sailors believed the ship was cursed after captains died during early voyages, yet somehow she survived long enough to become the oldest active sailing ship in the world. HMS Surprise shows the brutal reality of naval warfare during the Age of Sail. Ships like this once carried enough cannon firepower to destroy enemy vessels while sailors lived packed below deck surrounded by gunpowder, disease, and fear of battle. The Berkeley steam ferry even helped evacuate survivors during the 1906 San Francisco earthquake while much of the city burned. One of the most fascinating exhibits is the Soviet B-39 submarine from the Cold War. The inside is unbelievably cramped and gives you a real sense of what life was like beneath the ocean during one of the most dangerous periods in modern history. The USS Dolphin may have been my favorite. This experimental deep-diving U.S. Navy submarine helped test advanced underwater technology and launched the deepest-fired torpedo in naval history. The museum also includes the San Salvador, recreating the ship that explored California's coastline in 1542 -- long before America existed as a country. What makes this place incredible is the timeline it creates: 1500s exploration... 1800s global sailing... steam-powered industry... world wars... Cold War submarines... All sitting together in one harbor. This place doesn't just teach maritime history -- it shows how ships shaped exploration, immigration, trade, warfare, and entire empires.

My Husband and I got in line early to check in. We saw the opportunity to upgrade and we took it! He and I had the whole outside of the Captain's deck all to ourselves! My Husband got to fulfill his childhood dream of whale watching and boy did we see some beautiful wildlife! We saw majestic whales, dolphins, birds, sea lions, and while waiting in line to board, fish and stingrays. I got really seasick and the crew there were so kind to me...they kept checking on me, bringing me bags, peppermints and water. Allison, the wildlife narrator, was especially kind. She was also very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm to educate the public about the local wildlife was evident from the beginning! There was also a very attentive young lady crew member that would often see if we needed anything. She also kept bringing me mints, water and bags...she was even kind enough to throw away my full bag. That takes a special kind of humanity to discretely do that. There was a crew member with a beard who also checked on us. I was so seasick by that point that I failed to get their names, but I hope someone lets them know how much I appreciated their hospitality. The star of the show, of course, was Captain Mike! He came out and talked to us and as he was talking to us about his job, we could hear the sincere passion in his voice! He perfectly plotted our trip and made sure that everyone was able to have a great view of the wildlife. We were impressed by how much love and respect the crew members had for the wildlife and the ecosystem. Captain Mike spotted a Mylar balloon, stopped the engine and the team picked it up! I'm sure a beautiful sea creature was saved that day! Thank you again for the wonderful opportunity we had today! This experience is definitely going in the books!!!

Before this, I never knew this type of hobby existed. Just like gardening, aquascape has many styles: Iwagumi style Manzanita wood Dutch tank Aquascaping Planted tanks Rimless tank Low iron tanks The service here is wonderful. Hands on classes are offered at this location in the courtyard. The workshops are offered by skill level, types of styles and some are free while others require a fee.
