So I was willing to let it go when the MANAGER Mackayla yelled at my daughter for apparently touching too many spoons when picking a spoon from the jar. If you don't want to have kids touching your spoons don't put them together in one big jar. I just chose not to tip and let it go. But when I walked back in after using the restroom and the next worker scolded me, I realized this warrants a review. The next shift worker apparently thought it was appropriate to scold me for the fact my friends did not bus their kids table. Honestly the worst service I have ever received from not one but two employees, and apparently a manager. I told the second employee about how rude I thought they were being, and instead of being apologetic she asked "well what did your kid do?". What a way to ruin a trip and someone else's day. Don't yell at kids. And don't scold someone because their friend's kid left their ice cream on the table. I might understand if something bad was actually occurring. Horrible horrible customer service. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

I have tried this place twice now and can confirm that I will not be trying their drinks anymore. Their yogurt is alright. The milk tea tasted like somebody poured a whole bottle of syrup into it, very sugary! The taro smoothie was good. The boba however is hard and chewy. read more

After dinner last night, the consensus of our group was that we needed ice-cream. A few quick searches and two or three transits across the entire town of Lincoln City, we found ourselves at the Outlet Mall and headed toward Ocean Freeze. It's a serve yourself frozen yogurt, and also has several sorbet flavors too. I got some pear and key-lime, and I found the flavors of my dessert (pear and key lime) to be ok. Others in my group commented that the flavors of the their dessert being bland or flavorless. So while our after dinner outing was not bad, I can't say that it was really great either. So if you happen to be shopping and want something sweet and cold for a snack, this place would be meet the need. read more

I really was hopeful. It was our first time here and probably our last. My first impression started when I walked in. The girl was on her phone behind the counter, did not even welcome us. I had to ask if they had any dairy free options because nothing is marked clearly. I might add that this place looks nothing like the pictures inside. I ordered a Thai tea with regular boba, nothing outstanding and I've had better at the food trucks at the south end of town. The sign for the vanilla was on the floor and there was yogurt spilled and it looked like it had been there for a while. There was also toppings on the floor and on the counter it looked disorganized and dirty, which is why we did not have the yogurt. We were the only ones in there for at least 5 min and the employee could not be bothered to clean up or wipe anything down. For the owner... make sure you have more than 1 dairy free/vegan options. Please label your toppings as to what they are. Most of all, check your store once in a while. I'll try this place one more time but if it isn't better I'm going down one star read more

Very interesting environment, I went in with a friend looking to get some quick bubble tea but that was not the case. We ordered two bubble teas and it took 20 minutes for them to even start on our order and it was not busy at the time. Once we got the drinks they tasted watered down. It also seemed very unsanitary, no gloves, crumbs everywhere, etc. Although I have to say the prices were decent and the staff were nice. But overall I probably would not go back. read more

I live nearby and would go here a few times a week, but their prices are ridiculous. Less than 2/3 of a pint and no toppings is $7.75!?! I guess they aren't trying to cater to the locals or tourist families so they only get to gouge the occasional tourist. The place is usually empty and I understand why. During the height of the pandemic, they changed their pricing temporarily to be by the cup and not weight and it was MUCH more reasonable. That's the only time I have seen it busy. Didn't get the name of the worker but the red headed guy who served us and helped us out was really great! He looked like he was there by himself and handled the line that formed really well! The chocolate chips were awful, we waited 10 mins for an ice tea ( which in placed like this are pre made) so all you have to do is pour it into a cup? The service was excellent and it was great that they had indoor seating! I absolutely loved my pomegranate raspberry sorbet, and my friends also loved there flavors. Usually this has been a wonderful place to come and get bubble tea. Lately our drinks have been very runny or ice chunks so large you can't suck them up through the state. I always ask nicely to have it done a certain way and each time the drink gets worse. I have been coming in the last few weeks about 3-4 times a week. They never have tapioca pearls. So if you want tapioca pearls don't go to ocean freeze they won't have them. Today the young lady at the front desk was extremely rude an unhelpful. As I asked her questions she stared at her phone and answered shortly and very rude. I am a local. I have lived in Lincoln city for over 20 years. You don't know treat good repeat customers this way. For now on I'm going to Bay View Thai in depoe bay. They make bubble teas and are 1$ cheaper than ocean freeze. read more

Okay so picture this: you're walking through downtown Lincoln City, no shirt no shoes. It's so hot your feet have blisters the size of your grandads cajones in the gym locker room. The local beach rats are cooking scrambled eggs on the pavement and your on the verge of passing out. Except it's 60 degrees out, cloudy and you're slightly parched because you suck at drinking water through out the day. That was me today. I'm hanging out at the mall and I see the little shop sign which gets me thinking whoa I haven't had boba tea since it was a trending hashtag on instagram in 2016! So here I am 7:55pm totally prepared to be that guy sitting in there 20min after close. I check out the menu and this things big like I'm talking longer than Betty Whites life span. After a good 36min of deciding whether I wanted the Thai iced tea or the green tea the pre pubescent high school kid with a ferret stash working hits me with his "Iced or blended?" I didn't realize this was going to be a whole day ordeal. By the time world war 3 was started and finished I finally realized frozen foods hurt my cavities. I take one sip of this thing and I'm hit with Vietnam flashbacks of the cinnamon challenge back in 2013. Like I'm talking full on choking harder than a 5th grader in his first spelling bee, like borderline presidential secretary level choking. This thing is powdery, more powdery than the queen of Englands fermented breast milk. So I'm like okay we survived, mentally pep talking myself for the next sip like my college fraternity president during a Sunday night beer pong tournament in his moms garage (she made the best pizza rolls). next thing I know I've got boba beads as hard as Dwayne the Rock Johnsons spectacular abs in the new Baywatch movie (great movie btw but that's another review for another day) I've got an astroid belt flying through my throat that Han Solo wouldn't be able to dodge even if he WEREN'T in hyperspace. Like I legit think I've been shot. By this point I've had enough my $4 was not worth a trip to the emergency room for throat reconstruction surgery so I full send and Lebron this bad boi into the trashcan and miss and mosey my way out of there. Loved this new bakery so walkable from our rental home in Gleneden. Amazing pastries, plenty of relaxed seating, warm owner....just loved it. The place was packed as so many walkins but only one car in the parking lot. Don't let the lack of cars steer you away. I love boba and if you're looking for real boba, stay away from this place. They don't use your typical black tapioca pearls. Instead their "boba" are the popping jellys. I got the passion fruit smoothie and it tasted like chalky powder. Totally wrong. I also sampled their watermelon and strawberry raspberry frozen yogurts. The watermelon tasted really sweet like the jolly rancher watermelon candy. Gross unless that's what you're looking for. The strawberry raspberry flavor was too sweet as well. Delicious frozen yogurt and great atmosphere. Loved the wide variety of flavors and toppings they had, I had cookies & cream frozen yogurt with Kit kat pieces, toffee pieces, cookie dough, strawberries, and chocolate topping - so yummy! This place is overall ok in aspects aside from the actual yogurt. The yogurt itself is definitely not good- very watery, chemical/fake tasting, and has strong funky tastes. I tasted the vanilla, peach, and pineapple, my friends tasted marshmallow, banana cream, chocolate, and tart. We all came to the same consensus- all very funky and definitely not quality, not to mention extremely overpriced for the smallest cup sizes we got.
