We were immediately greeted by the owner Sam. The service was great. The owner was so kind and made us feel like we were at home. We had great conversation with him and then met his wife. Nice couple. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken. It was the perfect portion and the flavors were wonderful! It wasn't loaded with sauce. My friend ordered the yakisoba with veggies and tofu. We both finished the whole plate. We enjoyed the ambiance. Real plants and lots of seating. We will be returning and hope you will stop by and try it out too. read more

There are four Thai restaurants and a Thai foodtruck in Lincoln City, we think. One Thai restaurant was just plain weird and the food was meh, one is frequented by my ex and his family and it wasn't really our favorite anyway, and one made us sick. We have not tried the food truck yet. This was the only other option when we wanted Thai the other night cuz I was not excited about cooking. Like at all. Door Dash brought it. It was fast! And still hot. Packaged well. Kids loved their stripped down Tom Kah Tofu ( my kid is not a mushroom, tomato, or onion fan but loves lemongrass , coconut milk, and galangal ) and Pineapple curry. My Pork pad see ew came without cabbage as requested. It was tasty with lots of yummy broccoli. It was a little carrot heavy but I lived. I think we will order from here again. After a heavy, fried lunch (as is the custom on the Oregon Coast), we were looking for something on the lighter side for dinner. I'm happy we found Anna Thai Basil. We had a beef salad and a ground chicken/pork stir fry, that really hit the spot. I was looking for a drink that didn't have alcohol or caffeine, and our server suggested the fresh coconut juice, which turned out to be delightful and refreshing. In addition to the food, we were treated to first hand recollections of our server playing the percussion instrument that happened to be featured on the video playing that night. Food was good. I had the Panang curry with shrimp. Looked like they used canned beans, carrot and peas. That was weird for me, but still tasted good. Wife had the chicken pad Thai. It's a small and simple restaurant that reminds me of my visit to Thailand and each dish we had was exceptional. I never write reviews but I had to share how amazing this place is. Great service, the owner is kind and the food came out fast and wow easily the best Thai food I've ever had. Delicious, packed with flavor and perfect amount of spice. I ordered the l love Broccoli with tofu and my husband ordered the Ana house curry that comes with peanut sauce and wow amazing!!! We highly recommend this restaurant! This was the best Thai food my husband and I have eaten! Coming from San Francisco, we have been exposed to some of the best Thai food around, but Anna Thai Basil can compete or even is above those restaurants in taste. We had the pad ga prow ground chicken, pad see ew with beef, pad Thai with shrimp and the chicken and shrimp mango. Absolutely delicious! The noodle dishes and chicken/shrimp dishes are good for sharing. The pad gra pow came with rice but we also shared that dish. All the ingredients were fresh: plump shrimp, tender beef and chicken, perfectly sweet mangos. Pad Thai was a perfect balance of sweet and tang-yummy!. We had very little food left but definitely made room for the mango sticky rice dessert. All this food for $81! A steal nowadays when dining out. The owners were very nice. Too bad we are only in town for a few days since we would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. read more

Anna is a sweetheart. Greet her with a 'sawadikap' (men) or 'sawadikaa' (women) and she will light up. The food is authentic in flavor and fair sized portions for the price. I had the larb, eggplant, yellow curry, and pad see you. As good or better than what I get in Los Angeles. She also does boba (bubble) drinks. There is little competition for Thai food here, but thankfully she set a high bar for others to come in and compete. Her store is a bit small but she is expanding in a month so she will be able to handle a lot more tables. Would I go back? Absolutely. I'll visit every time I am back in town. We passed through on our trip along the coast and decided to stop by Anna's Thai Basil based off the high reviews. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food! We live in Seattle and fortunate to have many thai restaurants nearby but Anna's is probably the best thai food I've had in recent memory. Moreover, Anna herself came by and made sure we were enjoying our meals and asked if we were interested in trying additional sauces and condiments. Tiny place, big taste. First visit here, so I went with the template I use for all Thai restaurants on my first visit, namely, the drunken noodles with shrimp. The waitress gave me the obligatory warning about the spice level; told her that I wanted it exactly the way the chef prepared it for herself. She warned me that it was going to be mighty hot. And so it was. She (Anna, the owner and chef) sure didn't hold back on the heat. Great googooly-moogooly, she really lit me up, hahaha. Man! Lots of taste in with the heat, though, which is how it should be. My companion had the noodles with beef (not spicy at all) and had equally complimentary things to say about her entree. We found the portion size and flavor (including desired spice level) to be perfect. I am picky about meat but I found both the chicken and beef to be delicious and good quality (no "weird bits" to be found). Service was timely and the staff hosting / waiting was friendly & helpful. The environment was clean and welcoming. Additionally, the price was reasonable for good quality food. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and two bubble teas and I feel like we got more than our moneys worth. If I lived local I would be a frequent customer here :) read more
