We went to Ocean Grille for a quick dinner when we arrived in town. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which was great for us. The service was excellent. I had a Caesar salad with chicken, and it was delicious. My friends had the hummus, which they enjoyed. Wow I can't say enough about this place. Service was impeccable. Our server Jasmine provided white glove service from beginning to end. The complementary Hummus was delicious and compared to any I have eaten in Greece. Topped with chickpeas, authentic spices, EVO and served with pita. They have an extensive wine lists. I enjoyed one of the house wines which was very reasonably priced and very good. They get high marks for presentation, every dish that came out was a masterpiece. I had the Chicken Kebab with rice. The chicken was all white meat which had been seasoned and marinated to perfection, literally falling apart when removed from the skewer. Served with grilled vegetables, I choose rice as my side. It was tender, juicy and a huge portion. The lamb Gyro Platter was also a generous portion and the meat was juicy as well. Definitely not the dry shaved meat you would expect with a gyro. Unfortunately we were way too stuffed to try any dessert. The chef even came out to say hello after dinner. Overall authentic Mediterranean cuisine, reasonably priced, good vibe and outstanding service. A must try if you are in the area. Kudos to Jasmine for amazing service. read more

My newest gem. I love it here. The staff is amazing. They have the sweetest hostesses. I loved my server Leo and Bartender Jasmine. They were sweet knowledgeable and very accommodating. This restaurant was so good. The place is decorated so beautiful. The atmosphere is very fun, with a live performance, but not too loud or annoying. The live performance is very good as well! Place is nicely lit, not too dim or too bright either. Food was AMAZINGGG! Everything I got was stellar. I got the shrimp tostones, lentil cream soup, lamb platter, and gyro platter. Everything was so so yummy. The lamb and gyro was so tender and flavorful. The lamb fell apart and the rice part of the dish balanced out the meal perfectly. We had Roberto as a server and he was fantastic. He explained every dish without hesitation which was helpful. Very kind and funny. Expect a lot of silly jokes and commentary. The food is fresh and made to order. The pita is perfectly served, warm with fresh aromatic herbs and a splash of olive oil. The hummus is among the best I've had anywhere in the world! Over a couple of visits, we've ordered the mixed grill, the grilled Lamb Chops, grilled chicken pita, lentil soup, beet salad, and ended each meal with the best baklava ever! Not the typical pre cut, honey drenched dessert you get most places. This is made to order in a small skillet and served warmed and flaky. Maria is an excellent, attentive server, who makes your dinning experience enjoyable! She is personable and professional and gives you space to simply enjoy your evening! I don't leave many reviews, especially negative. But I didn't have the best experience. When we arrived for dinner, I first asked for a glass of water. We ordered two glasses of wine each. And two appetizers total. The wine was their house wine. She showed me the menu. I noticed each glass was 10 dollars each. My appetizer was the Ceviche' and she ordered the Cous Cous something or other. The ceviche' only came with two little pieces of toasted bread. So how was I supposed to eat it? I asked for more bread or tortilla chips to eat it. Which I had to ask for multiple times. They brought me two more little pieces. The ceviche' was loaded with fish and veggies. It was so thick chopped I couldn't eat it with the small pieces of bread. So I had to eat it with a fork. Which was okay. But the fish was so thickly cut as was everthing else, it didn't cook consistently in the dressing. It was really rubbery. Not very appetizing. The cous cous appetizer was 3 blocks of cheese in some sort of batter. I didn't see cous cous (toasted pasta) anywhere on the plate. No sauce with it either. So it was just a strong tasting baked cheese. With nothing to flavor it. Again, very unappetizing. I had pretty much had it at that point. So when I asked for the check, it came to $99.17. After tip it was 118 dollars. They charged me 15 dollars per glass of (10 dollar wine) wine, 10 dollars for the water, and $2.50 cents for the little pieces of bread to eat the ceviche'. I'm not petty but it was not worth the money. I'm glad I didn't order dinner honestly. The service was good. But almost too good. Because we felt kind of rushed. I'm honestly not hard to please. I understand sometimes things aren't perfect. But this was not a good experience. I can't go back. I kind of felt ripped off. read more
