Sfingi! Huge and filled with cannoli cream! Delicious.

The BEST Zeppole and Sfingi in South Florida hands down. They are huge! Filled with delicious yellow cream or cannoli ricotta cream! No one makes them better! Fantastic! Go get one! You won't be sorry

From the second I walked in i was transported back to Brooklyn. with memories from my childhood.Family run Italian Deli that I believe has been in business for over 50 years. I went two days before Christmas and boy was it busy. They have everything from italian sandwiches to pastries to lasagna To pizza . I grabbed a fresh mozzarella, a fried chicken cutlet( it was bigger than my head), seafood salad, semolina bread, a couple of rice balls, cannolis and Sfogliatella . Everything was so fresh and delicious. The mozzarella still room temperature. The bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seafood salad with calamari, octopus ,scungilli and shrimp was so awesome . I didn't want to share. Oh, yeah. And I picked up some olives too. It's in Hollywood only a couple of minutes away from the Hard Rock . So if you in the area definitely check this place out

Excellent and extremely authentic. Everybody was very kind and efficient. People are coming in and out all day. Personally the prosciutto and mozzarella was to die for. Both Sandwiches were 10/10. Highly recommend and they're known for their fresh mozzarella! Enjoy!

just know this place is always busy! This is super authentic Italian food literally heard Italian being spoken throughout the whole market. They sell products as well as make hot food. The desserts are to die for and my favorite was the olive oil crispy garlic pasta. ambience is busy, more of a takeout spot although they do have tables if you want to sit and eat. Delicious food.

Really good Italian food products here. Whether you're cooking at home or you're ready to take home just to warm it up. Desserts, coffee what ever your needs. They have there own parking lot. I bought an already made lasagna and just reheated.

I have always wanted to visit Mimi's Ravioli after trying them at a Hollywood food festival in Young Circle. When I finally got the chance they more than lived up to my expectations. This authentic Italian market is cozy and enchanting. Mimi's has been a labor of love for the Billisi family since 1970. They run an Italian specialties bakery and pasta factory. Every day they churn out homemade ravioli, freshly made pizzas, fresh piped cannoli, crusty breads, cheese, sauce, and more. They have a pizza oven to turn out the best fired pizza and they are especially famous for their house made, hand stretched mozzarella. What they don't make here they import directly from Italy. You can get your pantry staples like oil and vinegar here as well as plates and bowls to serve their pasta masterpieces. Mimi's is well known throughout South Florida for their Italian specialties. You can pick up a meal or they will cater your event. In addition to running the market they participate in many festivals throughout they year but I recommend paying their Hollywood market a visit for the full Mimi's Italian market experience.

Mimi's Ravioli is a wonderful family owned and operated market ran by Mimi herself. You enter into a small store front and don't be surprised there is so much to see & want to try. The freezers are filled with Mimi's homemade raviolis & Manicotti filled with a variety of different fillings. There are also trays of eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, chicken Parmesan and more. They carry pasta, wine, cheeses, canned vegetables, incredible looking desserts and amazing subs too. We ordered 2 subs one chicken Parm, the other prosciutto and mozzarella with tomato. 10/10. Don't forget to look behind the register the have more items to look at and purchase. Definitely get the homemade mozzarella. So yummy. The service was great, they were fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back to this amazing true neighborhood Italian Market.

Great place to stop at while in Hollywood. We had the chicken parm sandwich and it was very good. We took home the pepperoni bread that was stuffed with a ton of pepperoni and the onion and pepper focaccia bread. Both were very good! And of course we had a cannoli! The cannoli was amazing!

What a wonderful family owned business that has been around a lifetime! The have a complete Italian market that you can purchase your ingredients from to make your own dish at home, or they have already made frozen items that you can toss into the oven with your favorite sauce and spices. If you are hungry while you are there, they have food to order as well. The service is fast paced, however warm and friendly at the same time. This store isn't close to my home, however I will most definitely take the drive down to pick up more items once I through what we purchased. Enjoy!!

Way more affordable than a night out at an Italian restaurant, but you still get the high quality food. Depending when you stop by, you might see some fresh pasta being made right in front of your eyes. Doesn't get fresher than that. We love some of the frozen platters like lasagna and eggplant rollatini that we just throw in the oven for an hour and voila, perfection. And be sure to stop by on the 29th each month for 29% of gnocchi. We always have trouble deciding which flavor gnocchi to take, but we always know it will be good. And don't think about throwing grocery store sauce on their perfectly made pastas. Grab one of their sauces for unforgettable flavor. On our latest trip, we tried the fettuccini and their four cheese sauce, which we added sautéed mushrooms and Mahi to at home. That sauce was absolutely mouth-watering and the pasta had delightful texture. The ladies in the shop are always friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask if you have questions about how to prepare something or how many people it will serve. If you're not in the mood for pasta tonight, many of the products are frozen so if you're in the area don't miss your chance to stock up! This small shop is filled with pasta machines and wall to wall options. You can feast your eyes on bountiful pastas, desserts like tiramisu & profiteroles (our favorite), and even a small market of Italian and Argentinian coffees, sweets, and wines, so why not stop by and take a look?

I used to go get my weekly fix of fresh pasta for years. Finally I tried the new place. Same offerings. Different sizes to satisfy clientele budgets. I could just stand in front of the freezer all day to pick my selection. Today was Lobster Sorrentinos- mini ravioli stuffed with lobster and I picked a pesto sauce for the topping. Easy to prepare at home. Definitely delicious to consume. I didn't even check to what fresh pastas were available; this is what I used to purchase all the time. Service was spot on. I walked into the store and a clerk welcomed me and asked if I needed help. Nice. Prices were reasonable. And BTW, they supply all the neighboring restaurants and then some, with the fresh pasta on their menus. Go try it. I know I'll be back. I'm sure I'll be able to up my rating to 5 stars with my next update.

The thyme in the butter was a nice touch. For appetizers, we tried the calamari. It was okay, but not the standout of the meal. The Argentinian-style Chicken Milanesa Napolitana, on the other hand, was excellent. It was crispy, flavorful, and the pasta side paired perfectly with it. We also shared a pitcher of the mint lemonade, which was refreshing and a great choice for the table. The highlight of the night was the Tartuffo dessert. It was presented with a dramatic dry ice effect that made it feel really special, and it tasted just as good as it looked. A big thank you to Ivonne, our server. She was friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped make the meal even better. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful service. We're looking forward to coming back.

1 Star I am…read moreextremely disappointed with how we were treated at One Italian Grill, 1342 SW 160th Ave. We made a reservation, arrived expecting to be seated properly, and were taken to a booth where there was barely enough room for us to even fit. The person seated in the booth on the other side had pushed their seat farther back toward our side, leaving us with an absurdly small amount of space. It honestly felt like we were being asked to squeeze into seating meant for children. What made the experience unacceptable was the response from the staff. We explained the problem to the hostess and then to the manager, expecting someone to at least TRY to find a reasonable solution. Instead, the manager basically gave us a flat "No, we don't have anything else." No attempt to move us. No offer to wait a few minutes for another table. No attempt to adjust the seating, check another section, or come up with any alternative whatsoever. That was especially frustrating because, from what we could see, there appeared to be multiple possible options in the restaurant. Even if those tables were unavailable for some reason, a manager should be able to explain that and make some effort to accommodate guests -- especially guests who made a reservation. The lack of concern was worse than the seating problem itself. Things happen in restaurants. Tables get moved, seating gets tight, and reservations don't always go perfectly. What separates good customer service from bad customer service is how management responds when there is a problem. Here, the response was essentially: No. Nothing we can do. Deal with it. We came there intending to have a nice dinner and spend money at this restaurant. Instead, we were made to feel like our reservation and our comfort meant absolutely nothing. A reservation should mean more than simply having your name on a list. If you cannot provide reasonable seating for a reserved guest, the very least you can provide is basic courtesy, communication, and an attempt to find a solution. Unfortunately, we received none of that. Extremely poor customer service and an incredibly disappointing first impression.

We had friends in town so we decided to check out the new spot in town. Love a good food hall. DalMoro's has a premium location, considering it's one of the first spots you see when you walk in to the food hall. And you surely can't miss the big rigatoni mural on the wall and the machine cranking out fresh pasta. Elliott was very attentive and helpful with answering questions as we were looking at the menu and inquiring about different options. We ended up ordering a few things with our group to share. Ordered the fusilli pasta with like butter sauce sprinkled with some Parmesan and a side of meatballs for the kids. Also got the rigatoni with Cacio e Pepe topped with bacon. When you take that first bite of the pasta, you can taste the difference in the fresh pasta. Even our kid's simple "Like Butter" dish was delicious. But our favorite was hands-down, the rigatoni with Cacio e Pepe and bacon. Great combo of flavors, the rigatoni catches the sauce just right. So freaking good!!! When we left, I had to tell Elliott the pasta was hands down our favorite of the variety of foods we had at Block 40. The fresh pasta made all the difference. He asked if we wanted to try the tiramisu and I said we'll be back another time for that because the kids wanted to stop by Jaxson's for desserts on the way home. He said it was on the house! So freaking NICE and such a thoughtful gesture. Honestly, I couldn't say no because I was actually jumping for joy inside, tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts. Although I was going to take it with us, I stopped to tell my family and had to take a bite. It was creamy and so delicious. Good portion too especially if you're full. Lol. Thanks Elliott for taking such good care of us. We'll definitely be back. Would come back to try the pesto and bolognese options with fettuccine and bigoli. They had me at FRESH PASTA!!! Go check them out.

Although I love the huge selection here, sometimes it's nice just to be able to walk into Kimchi Mart and get everything I need in a smaller space. Not gonna lie, it took me about 1 hour to cruise around the entire Enson Market, just to make sure I looked at everything. Most Asian markets have similar items, some have better options than others. But when you talk about ELITE Asian markets, California has the BEST options with Mitsuwa Marketplace, Tokyo Central and H Mart. I love how they incorporate bakeries, food halls and tons of fresh prepared foods as grab & go options. To be fair, Cali also has a bigger Asian population than Florida, so there's that too! Enson Market is incredibly clean, organized and a beautiful Asian Market in itself. They did a great job with the way everything is laid out. The produce, meat and seafood options look fresh! I love that they do have a sushi, onigiri and fresh grab and go food space. Although when I came around 1pm, most of these options were gone so it was mostly empty. They also have a little area next to the bakery items and seafood space where they sell roast duck, crispy pork, bbq pork (char siu), and more. I would definitely come back for these!!! Frozen food options are abundant. I can say the same about the snacks, condiments, beverages, noodles, rice, instant noodles and just about every pantry item possible. All in all, Enson Market is a wonderful Asian Market in the Plantation area. They have everything you could possibly need or want. Prices are fair, service is good and quality is stellar.
