Carlos is knowledgeable, friendly, genuinely cares about his customers and is looking to create lasting business relationships - he's not just looking to "get the sale". He was responsive and thorough at every interaction. I cannot recommend him highly enough. 2. Car buying doesn't have to take all day. When the Business Manager knows what he's doing and isn't looking to sell you something you don't need or leave you waiting to make you "sweat it out", it can be incredibly painless. Bo Cranick had everything ready to go, was well prepared and is an expert at what he does. Again, thorough, kind and genuinely cares about his customers and the business. 3. I travel full time, coast to coast, north to south, east to west, on and off road, throughout the U.S. in a 2005 Pacifica. My car requires consistent maintenance due to the wear and tear of extreme use. I happened across Dream Auto five years ago when I was outfitting my vehicle for full time travel. They removed all but the driver's seat to accommodate the interior, camper-like build. They also performed a few engine repairs. There were some wiring repairs they couldn't make, but they correctly diagnosed the problem, which I had fixed at another shop. While visiting family in Connecticut I returned to Dream Auto to have my vehicle checked out for some whining noises it was making. I always get a second opinion when major repairs are required, which was the case this time. The Dream Auto mechanics correctly diagnosed drive shaft, sway bar, and shocks issues, which they repaired. I ordered the parts through Amazon, which saved me about a thousand dollars. Dream Auto doesn't do wheel alignments, which I needed after the drive shaft was installed. So I had that done at another shop. Following that, I heard another unfamiliar noise. I returned to Dream Auto where they diagnosed wheel bearing and axle damage, confirmed once again with a second opinion. I ordered the parts, which I had delivered to the shop, and Dream Auto performed the labor. Now my old car drives like she's just off the assembly line. I couldn't be more pleased with her performance. The owner/manager, Antonio, and his brother, a top notch mechanic, one of at least two others, provide a family-like atmosphere, excellent communication, and quality diagnostics and repairs. Whenever I'm in Connecticut, Dream Auto is where I go for the best of the best in car repairs.

I…read morewas shopping for a new car and after going back and forth via text and email and feeling comfortable with the out the door price, I set up a test drive and initial meet with the sales team. Now before this I seemed to have been handed off between four different people ranging from Internet sales to sales and sales manager. I didn't care who showed me the car as long as I was able to test drive it. Received several texts and email reminders about the test drive. Took time off to make the appointment but when I showed up the main person I was dealing with seemed to be busy with another customer. They had me go to a new sales guys who very recently had joined their Hyundai team. He came from a different dealer and a different car company so I was a little critical on if he would be about to answer my questions. Sure enough I seemed to know more about the vehicle than he did. AND for the test drive he told me due to insurance purposes we could only make right turns. I looked at him and asked what about Highway driving and he said no. I voiced my displeasure in that as I needed to see how the car performed on the highway. Just about that time the other guy showed up and said that yes we can go on the highway. Now before we started to drive I wanted to know about some features on the dash such as the camera. New guy didn't know, the other guy showed and didn't know but said he'd look it up but wanted me to leave for the drive. Got the impression they wanted to rush me out on the test drive. Oh, so before I showed up and in all my correspondence with them I referenced a specific vehicle by number. When the new guy went to pull the car around (should have been ready when we got there) he couldn't find the car. Took him at least ten minutes of looking. When he pulled it up it wasn't ready to be shown. Still had all the plastic on the seats and boxes in the back. I was disappointed as I wanted to check out the third row seat but couldn't because they hadn't set the car up. Other salesman shows up and takes boxes out of the back and has me look but it was rushed, so much so I forgot to sit in the third row seat as that was one thing I wanted to do. Overall probably the worst experience I have had on seeing a Vehicle I wanted to buy. Complained later that night to the manager. Listed what went wrong, but the price was good and I wanted the car so the lower part of my email talked about a couple more questions and coming back to the dealership in a few days to perhaps finalize the deal. Appears manager only read the first few sentences of the email and not the bottom part where I was going to come in. So needless to say, I kept looking and found a more hospitable and friendly dealership with the same vehicle and at a lower price. So I purchased from them.

Communication was top notch, the price was fair, and the sale process itself has been very positive. I felt supported by a team. By way of background, I'm in my early 60s, and have purchased many vehicles, primarily newer autos coming off lease or single owners, from family autos to executive sedans. I began looking on Edmunds and YouTube at reviews of automobiles that would suit my lifestyle and provide good value. I had several prospects spread over RI, CT & MA, and, as informative as reviews are, there is no substitute for spending time in the driver's seat. A couple of the dealerships I visited were just disappointing - advertised cars not available, "in arbitration" or not as advertised. Calls were not promptly returned or returned at all. Valenti Ford proved different. My initial voicemail was promptly returned and although the salesperson was not available, they made sure that I knew who I could speak with. My sales and leasing associate was Elisa Calkins, who was good-humored, responsive, honest and freely admitted when she needed back-up from members of her team regarding the vehicle I had in mind. David Tignonsini is the sales manager at Valenti and deserves the title. He is clearly a car guy. He had handled the intake of the vehicle and its service once it arrived at the dealership. David provided me with a full vehicle service report, an up-to-date car fax and the original MSRP window sticker. Both Elisa and David took time to go over the vehicle and Elisa accompanied me on an exciting and comprehensive test drive. I felt that they both wanted a satisfied customer. And while I was interested in the auto, I left the dealership to do some further research on the brand and the car itself. No pressure. A couple of days later, I decided to move forward and Elisa scheduled me with Marcy in finance. Marcy found an excellent interest rate from a credit union in RI and we walked through the P&S paperwork briskly, clearly and professionally. Post-closing, Joel Valenti worked through an issue regarding a missing part to a satisfactory conclusion. Elisa installed the temporary plates and explained the process of getting RI plates and registration, with no trip to the DMV for me. Al accompanied me across the border to Westerly, RI for the VIN check. Would I buy from Valenti Ford again? Yes.
