Jon Swift is the rudest person I have EVER spoke with in a dealership environment. I had a warranty-able issue with my vehicle, then Jon wanted to argue with me without even seeing the vehicle himself and accuse me of causing something to create the issues I came in to have addressed. I would never again step foot in this service department after speaking with this unprofessional jerk. Not to mention his advisor told me they didn't even have time to look at the issue I scheduled a time slot to come in and have my vehicle fixed. After he told me he won't cover my issue under warranty, he tried quoting me 2 hours of labor for something that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Terrible person. I just bought a 2021 VW Atlas from these guys. Nick was our salesman. He was young guy who knew so much about the car. He was genuinely excited about the vehicle. He was patient and so helpful. Best of all he was NOT pushy, no annoying phone calls and it was a NO pressure sale at a fair price. I wanted green, but I guess they don't make many. John the sales manager, called the TN plant where they are put together & had them build exactly the car I wanted! They told me it would be approximately a month to build & ship the car to CT. Nick would text me updates & 3 weeks later, I drove my new Atlas home! Nick was very patient with me. He showed me how to use all the cool features in the car & said even after the sale I could still contact him with questions. We recently bought a "new to us" VW Atlas SEL Premium from David Ervin at the Bob Valenti Volkswagen Mystic location. We experienced great customer service while working with him. We came in knowing we were interested in a VW Atlas, but also considered a Ford Expedition when we saw it available on the lot. David was very helpful explaining the updated features for both vehicles as we test drove them, without trying to "sell" them to us. Upon determining we were going to get the VW Atlas, we spoke with the Sales Manager who was able to help us include the items that were important to us. We were told the vehicle needed to be inspected and cleaned and we would need to return on Monday. However, another sales person delayed the inspection process and vehicle delivery by a day when he pulled the vehicle out of the service lineup to allow another customer to test drive it and show the features. This caused the vehicle not to be inspected when it was next in line. Despite that, John Devine, the Sales Manager was able to get everything back on track and we were able to pick up the car the following day. David has been wonderful to work with; he struck the perfect balance between being informative without being pushy. I highly encourage anyone wanting to purchase either a new or "new to them" vehicle to reach out to David. He is the perfect ambassador for the Valenti Auto Sales group. read more

We had the most delightful experience at Valenti VW yesterday while traveling from New York to Boston. My engine light went on, so I brought my car in to the closest VW dealer, Valenti, just before closing. Cassy and John Devine were happy to receive me, quickly diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be an misaligned gas cap, triggering a warning light. Cassy was inviting over the phone, and prepped the service department before I got there. John kept us laughing, and was very hospitable. We were sent on our continued travels in 15 min, barely delayed for our family gathering. This VW dealership was so accommodating and calmed my fears of what could have been a travel nightmare. Check engine light came on and so I had it serviced there and was happy with the work initially. The check engine light came on one day later after service and i brought it back asking them to take a look and assuming they would do it as a courtesy seeing as it wasnt completely taken care of the first time. They CHARGED me for another hour of labor for a diagnosis that takes 1 minute and said it was a different code so they had to charge me. Terrible way to do business and I will not be bringing my cars here for service again. read more

Yes we knew it was time but we were hoping for extra days. He helped with all rental car arrangements and all logistics of selling the car. Valenti is a household name in my house. Family has been buying cars from there for years. It was the first and only place I went. I stopped in one evening to see Dan McDuffee and we chatted about what I was looking for. He ultimately kept his eye out for what I wanted and let me know when something that I might be interested in would come on the lot. Went in on a Saturday at 10am to test drive a nice clean used Jetta TDI (I commuted 150 miles round trip per day) and we sat down to talk price. After a bit of back and forth I ended up paying less than I was expecting!! They started the paperwork while I left to attend a funeral and waited for me to get back afterward to pick up my new car! I brought my Jeep to the service department for an oil change, emissions test, and a few other issues on February 6. I didn't anticipate thousands of dollars in repairs, and seeing it was a 11 year old vehicle, decided it was time to look for a new one. We decided to go in after work to look at a VW. I was greeted by Isaac Ervin, a very friendly, young sales consultant, immediately upon entering the showroom. I explained what I was looking for and he showed me two models that would meet my needs. I test drove both, and made my decision. My family has bought their cars exclusively from Valenti's, but this was my first purchase, and I was greeted by John Devine, the sales manager, like I was an old friend. He made a great trade-in offer on my Jeep and we were signed and delivered by 8:30 that night. By the time I drove off the lot in my new Tiguan (which I love!) , I felt like I was friend.
