Taylor Swift's house is the white one
    Libby H.

My friends and I came here to have dinner at The Bistro but got here early to take pictures. Beautiful resort with great views looking over the water. You can also see Taylor Swift's house from the deck. The only complaint I have was the valet parking. The guy came up to use 3 times asking if we were still waiting for our cars which we were. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication problem because the cars are just in a lot right across from the resort but he said he was paging the guys. It took them about 20 minutes to get our cars. The guy who got one of our cars said he was never paged about the other and ran to get it. Other than that the place was stunning and staff were friendly.

We had an amazing lunch at Ocean House this weekend. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The views were amazing and the Christmas decorations were very fun. Highly recommended. I would give this six stars on a five star scale.

Our time in Ocean House was beyond pleasant and memorable. Not only did we get a superb treatment from the whole staff, we agreed to come back after having a fantastic time just enjoying beautiful views, eating, drinking, and celebrating life. Best birthday ever!

Complementary champagne for our anniversary, crab amuse bouche, all delicious

We had massages at the spa, the relaxation room is so beautiful. I wish they'd told us about it at the beginning, so we could enjoy the spectacular views of the ocean. My massage with Liz was one of the best I've had, she had great understanding of what was needed. We went to the bistro for dinner, which was lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The service was good, I think we met everyone working in the bistro that night! Overall a great experience, I can't wait to visit in the daytime when we can enjoy the views.

Great view from our seat, blue ocean and green lawns

Lovely and impressive mansion, we walked the grounds and had a nice brunch. Julia was an attentive server, we had a perfect view and our table was one of the lesser spots to sit. Most tables were even better than perfect. Food was good, not great thus 4 stars. Will post eggs benedict, and fretata pics later. Pastries were good. Great value if you ate allowed to do the Ala cart, not great at $85 a person brunch but you'd have all the serving stations available to you. It's just a lot of food. $10 to park for 2 hours, That includes our tip 5+5, but you cannot stay and visit beach. Would have liked to walk on the beach during our 2 hour window. Worth a visit

Gorgeous mansion on the sea cliff. Love this place. The pictures do not do it justice. Beautifully appointed rounds. They have both showers and luxury bathtubs. King-size beds with windows looking out onto the ocean and onto the croquet field. Exceptional service from home hotel staff. Lots of places to eat on the property. One of my favorite amenities is a croquet filled with a croquet professional on hand. Valet parking.

This is a five star Hotel. If your looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy good food, peacefulness atmosphere and amazing walks on the beach than this is the hotel for you. Guests here keep to themselves for the most part which is a big deal for their higher end and famous guests who own rooms here. The restaurants are serving some fantastic meals and if you get a chance you must try their own take on lobster roll. Delicious doesn't come close to express how good it was. I was here for only an hour but it definitely caught my eye for a nights stay but be aware it's expensive.

It doesn't get any better in Rhode Island! The jazz brunch on Sunday am is amazing! Start with a tower of fruits and shrimp and then an incredible green salad and salmon to top it all off! And Then.. the setting and dessert!!

The better tables on the verandah are right overlooking the water and those are reserved for guest eating food.

Also, there is some additional seating (booths) available in the bar area. Still classic bar-style / feel good foods available. I had the Philly Steak sandwich with waffle fries. It was a great choice. Our other dining partner had the Fish and Chips and it was gone before i could ask how it was. Another had a burger which was ordered as medium rare but came out medium (hence the 4 stars vs 5). We did not return it as the difference was subtle. The waiter did ask how our food was and we opted not to mention it. Overall, the portions were average, the prices were very good, the quality (taste) was also very good. What I loved the most was that although the place was packed, the acoustics were exceptional. We sat in the bar area and there was no need to lean in to converse. No shouting. Just your natural voice level was enough. To me - that's a huge win!

We got take out which automatically lowers expectations but of 5 orders, we were missing 4 sides: 2 Cole slaw, 1 fries, and a Caesar salad. Pretty disappointing. Additionally, literally everything was oversalted, per everyone's taste buds. We ordered 2 cold and 1 hot lobster rolls, 1 stuffed shrimp, 1 pork cutlet, and 1 lobster bisque. The buns for the lobster rolls were nice but not grilled. The pork cutlet was covered with hot peppers, advertised for sure as cherry peppers, but if you don't like very spicey, avoid this entree. The Haversham has a good bar scene and may have good bar food but entrees are priced on the higher side and they need to get the salt and service issues under control!

For the same high price. The room we had last year did not compare to the room assigned to us this year (although it was called the same) -- big difference in room size and layout, tiny bathtub, small TV screen, less comfortable furniture -- however more room on the terrace to gaze at the parking lot. We had made our reservation a year prior, after our first stay, and were not expecting to pay more money for much less than we had requested. "Sorry", they say, "we cannot guarantee you a specific room." The room we were assigned did not even come close. We were returning guests which, obviously, didn't mean much to staff or manager. There is no hospitality or warm welcome from the OceanHouse from those who work behind the desk. They are also loathe to put you into a room until at least 4:00pm or well after. Perhaps the lack of care comes from their monopoly position of beach property. Well, of course, it does. Also, beware all the extra fees added on, few of them as fully disclosed as they should be.

We made reservations a few months prior were not told while making the reservation or in the two email confirmations and one telephone call I received confirming the reservation that the price was not what was posted on their website. It is Mother's Day and post COVID, I get it but to charge and extra $23pp, charge for mimosa's, $45 for a 4-year old, and a 22% gratuity for a mediocre brunch is a bit much. Not to mention the service was NOT what it used to be, coffee and water not refilled, plates not removed, disappointing. When we called and asked about the price we were told that is was because of Mother's day and they had an extended menu. If the menu was extended we did not notice as there were no ala carte choices and most choices at the stations were cold. There were some very nice choices at the stations, but not for the money they are charging. Unfortunately we will go else where when looking for a nice brunch, OH just is not what it used to be.
