This place is great! If you want to feel a sense of community and have the best bartenders Christy and Diana then come down. Wednesday is karaoke night where everyone can come and have some laughs and sing there hearts out and the rest of the week you see a lot of the locals just having a good time. Trust me when I say that this is the most chilled place to be!

A basic bar with some tables along the side and a pool table at the back. $3.50 Bud / Budlight on tap for happy hour. Our server/bartender was friendly. Not sure if they have food here, doesn't look like it.

Ocean Mist Pub is dive bar. The bartenders are super nice, a lot of fun and the patrons come from across the board with the young, the old, the locals, the tourists, a few bikers types, some six pack Joe's, younger women out of a good time and older women out for a good time. The place allows smoking and can develop clouds of it. If there you'll probably see plenty of tattoos, but more importantly a lot of people having good time fun and all very friendly. For being near a beach and in a tourist community, the prices are really reasonable and the drinks they serve are really good but of course parking can be a pain and an expensive pain. There's nothing really special about Ocean Mist Pub, but for a smoke filled dive bar it's ok. Let me just put it this way, you could do worse.

Love the Irish vibe. Great place

Great little dive bar! Good to watch the games, play pool and have a good time. It's a must every time I'm in Lauderdale by the sea.

I had the Shepard's pie. The food and the drinks were amazing. The service was fantastic. It was incredibly personable despite the size of our group. All and all I highly recommend visiting over and over. This place is perfect, the atmosphere calm, and relaxing, the service, one of a kind. The Field Irish Pub and Eatery is just one of those staples you can't stay away from for long! So, coming back we'll be!

Even though it is a freestanding restaurant, I am told that it can be difficult to find a spot. The venue offers live music on weekend evenings, but we finished eating before it began and were too tired to stay. The restaurant oozes the Irish pub decor and theme. Our waiter, Jordan, was exceptionally friendly and jovial. And he was a master at suggesting alcoholic beverages, once you let him know your likes. We had 2 orders of Irish potato soup, 2 Shepherd's pies with cheddar cheese, 2 orders of the Guinness beef and mushroom pie, 1 cabbage rolls, and one fish and chips. The soup was filled with bacon bits and creamy and luscious. The Guinness pot pies were a bit small, especially because they were so savory. The accompanying mashed potatoes did not come with gravy and there wasn't enough from the pot pies to cover it. The veggies that came with all the entrees were freshly made and without any seasoning. (But it is better to add salt and pepper than to try and remove it.) The fish was a decent size serving, but again, no real seasoning. Nothing that some salt, pepper, and malt vinegar couldn't rectify. The coating was light and crispy. Our alcoholic beverages (Guinness, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails) were thirst quenching and satisfying. (I loved my prickly pear margarita.) Dinner for 6, including 2 soups, 6 entrees, 8 drinks, tax, and tip was $300.

Walking in it has that everybody knows everybody vibe very Cheers but for the gay community. They do drag shows bingo karaoke and music videos on the big screen so there is always something going on. Monday I had the Classic Burger ($6, Monday price). On Thursday I had the pulled pork sandwich ($14, Thursday price). The angus beef burger was delicious even though it was just slightly undercooked. It came with fries or coleslaw. I chose the slaw which was creamy and sweet. The burger size was large and juicy. The slaw portion was small. The burger was good and was served on a plain hamburger bun. I added American cheese for a dollar more. The pulled pork sandwich wasn't really served on a toasted Kaiser roll, it was on an untoasted plain hamburger bun. It came with fries, pickles, and coleslaw. The fries can use some work. They were quite average. The pork was delicious and piled high. It was drenched in barbecue sauce and was very tasty. The Pub is very clean and a server takes your order and brings everything to you. This was nice. At the bar next door you have to wait in line at the bar to order food, drinks, a refill, or close out your bill. Lots of waiting in line on a busy night, but not at The Pub. Drinks at The Pub are not too overly priced. They do have a happy hour which saves some cash. There is usually live music or drag shows at The Pub which can be fun. It can also get very loud. The menu is large and prices vary but the daily specials are economical.

When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It's been years since I last visited, but after this experience, I'll definitely be going back soon.
