    Spring rolls....so good
    Amy P.

We stayed downtown after our cruise and were looking for dinner within walking distance. Found this amazing Irish pub and we were so glad we did! Service and food were both fantastic! Shane took excellent care of us, and his recommendations were spot on. They have been open less than a year, but walking in it felt like it had always been there. Prices good for the area and the portions were very large. And, they pour a perfect Guinness, which IMO is not easy to find! We had the pretzel to start and it was perfect and the cheese dip was so good. Shane said the chicken tenders are probably the second most ordered item and I can see why. I have never had better! The spring rolls were delicious and the tomato and goat cheese dip was heaven. The atmosphere was great, the music was great, and we will be back if in Miami again!

    THE FAMOUS IRISH SPICE BAG

Came here one evening for a quick drink and bite to eat, had a good time. The Leinster is exactly what it advertises - a chill place to have a beer, a dinner, or just sit with some friends. Had a beer and the Irish Spice Bag, which is a bag full of "Chinese spiced" chicken and fried covered in a savory slightly sweet curry sauce, very reminiscent of fast food Chinese but elevated and really hits the spot after some drinking. It's nice to have a spot like this when you just want a casual, no frills place to eat and drink with some friends or family.

Came to Leinster Irish Pub to watch the college championship game and the place was packed. Unfortunately, they were severely understaffed and only had one server working the floor. Because of that, she barely came around and our food took an hour to come out. When the food finally arrived, it was a little cold, which was disappointing after such a long wait. The drinks were good, but the bill ended up being higher than we expected. That said, it's still a solid place to watch a game. There are lots of TVs, the seating is comfortable, and the atmosphere is great for sports. They definitely need more staff on big game days to keep things running smoothly.

Food was good- typical Irish bar food. The place was hopping and the music was loud! Slow service because of the crowd. Ambiance was very casual. 4.3 stars. It was fun to celebrate St. Patrick's Day here.

This is my absolute favorite bar! We discovered it when looking for trivia, and have now been back every week! Their Wednesday Bar Jeopardy league is great, always a fun crowd. They also have plenty of TVs for games. With reasonably priced drinks and delicious Irish food, The Leinster is a great addition to Edgewater.

I went to this place with a party of 4 to watch the Superbowl. Despite being so busy the service was pretty good. They didn't have that many servers but the ones they had were super friendly and kind. I LOVED everything I ate here. The boneless chicken wings were so tender and fire. Loved the Bavarian pretzel too (it's huge btw.) Beers were super reasonably priced. Also on top of it all, the women's bathroom was so clean for such a busy night. They ran out of toilet paper at one point and staff were approachable and took care of it and replaced it. I really loved this place. It was my first time here and I will definitely go back!

This was a wonderful surprise for us, I brought my family here to check out the speakeasy tiki bar and found it was full because of an event and we didn't have a reservation. We decided to wait here and grab a few drinks and bites. We sat at the bar and there was a basketball game playing which quite a few people were tuned into. Seems like it's a nice local chill spot to watch a game and grab a bite. I smelled the sweetness of wings of the guy next to us and had to order the same, was totally happy with that decision! I believe it was a guiness bbq used and it was yummy. We were divided in what to order since we only wanted small bites and ended up going with the sausage rolls. It was a flaky savory breading wrapped around soft and seasoned sausage. It was paired with a slightly sweet marinara that pulled everything together for me since I am a huge fan of savory and sweet. The food was great but I am still thinking about that passionfruit tequila cocktail called "The banshee" SO GOOD! Super smooth, sweet and hit all the notes of what I was craving! Highly recommend ordering this cocktail even if there's no wait at Kaona room as it's a perfect start to enjoying some drinks! They also have a pool table, outdoor seating, and an authentically Irish owner that was attentive and very kind guiding us through ordering and every step of the way. Great experience here, great stop to make while in the downtown area!

Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. If you love cruising which I do and you love craft beer, you will absolutely love District Brew House. It is located on deck 8 towards the front of the ship. When I was on my cruise, it was the best kept secret on the ship. If you have cruised on a mega-ship like the Escape, you know getting a drink, especially in a frequented club or on the pool deck will usually mean long lines. On the Norwegian Escape, me and my friends did a test. One group of my friends stood in the line in prime time in the evening at Spice H2O on Deck 17 towards the rear of the ship. My group left them, walked all the way to District Brew House on 8 in the front of the ship, ordered drinks and came back. The group at Spice H2O were still waiting for their drinks. From that day on, we made it a point to stop in District Brew House before going anywhere else. Things you need to know about District Brew House on the Norwegian Escape: 1) They have draft beer and craft bottles 2) It wasn't too crowded and the service was great 3) We had the unlimited drink package and all our beers were FREE 4) At night they had a piano player from 9 pm until... 5) In 7 days you can try every beer they have, if beer is all you're drinking
