I went here with my coworkers after work to celebrate one of their birthdays. We reserved a section for us. Total of 9. Some of us did just pedi, just mani, or both. I did just mani but was the last to be worked on. I was getting pissed off bc everyone was getting their nails done and even one of the girls had 2 people working on her. So why wasn't one of them working on me? I still don't understand why. Everyone was helpful, the location is super clean, and the service was great. Michelle did a fabulous job with my nails!! I bite my fingernails and getting nails to look natural on these stubs is hard to do, trust me I've tried the other local places. Michelle dipped my nails in a neutral pink and I love them. I also had my first pedicure, ever!!! 42 years old with 6 kids and I've never pampered myself before like this. Tammy was amazing!!! And she matched the paint perfectly to my new nails. Beware of this awful place. I got a nail fungus here. They ignore you and talk to each other or in the phone and I felt cheated. Then they overcharged me. Also not good. One star because I can't give it zero stars. I'm a nail salon snob and should have walked out on site of the tacky decor and mangy chairs. This place is more expensive than my usual but I gave it a try because its website and menu looked nice. It was awful. I rushed by the greeter to pick a nail polish. He stood directly behind me and made it clear I was taking too long to choose a color. I took about 3 minuteThe massage setting and adjustment seating on chair was broken, the neck pillow was stained as were the dirty towels used on feet. The nail tech cut my cuticles and made them bleed on three different fingers then blamed my "thin skin"! This hasn't ever happened anywhere else. There was never any "fresh lime" used and when my dip manicure was done I had to ask for lotion- no automatic cleanse with hot towel and lotion included. I been here many times and I love the work of Jan and Haley, but today I had a bad experience with Vincent who clearly didn't know how to do chrome nails and waisted so much product and my hands were a mess, he clearly had no idea how to apply chrome and here's a clear example of his inexperience. I'm not paying $60 for a mess that I have to clean up at home or stay there for them to clean them up while talking behind my back in their language. Heck no and they want me TO PAY FOR A BAD JOB!! Lmao I actually had to pay someone else to take off that mess and was happy to PAY!! If you're looking to get your nails done look no further! Abbe, Ann, Rosie and Wendy are the bomb! Every time I go there it's so fun and relaxing. After awhile it feels like family. The color selections are am-a-zing!!! It makes me so happy to find a place that feels like home and you get quality service. The manager is awesome too and don't forget that you get a nice cocktail while you relax. The cocktail menu is great but they also have amazing Vietnamese coffee and amazing infused water and tea. Went to get my nails and toes done, i have been a couple times before and have been satisfied, but this time i went the lady did not shape my nails how i wanted. i wanted square and was very clear about that, she gave me round. and the lady that did my toes did an okay job until i got home and noticed the acrylic coming up off of my toe nail!!! $100 just to have to go get my toes and nails re-done this weekend. Somewhere else of course. This place is over-priced for the basic job they always do. And the lady that did my eyebrows took off my whole right eyebrow so i have an inch of an eyebrow now. July 2018 I started looking for a new nail tech that could meet my expectations regarding up to date trends and designs. I started searching online via Yelp for a Nail Tech in the Cypress area and came across Ocean Nail Lounge and started reading the reviews that were left. There was one artist work and name who stood out the most... Stacy. So as I continued to read the reviews one person left her ig handle which is @nailartiststacy and I immediately went to her page and after scrolling through her work ... I immediately dm'd her to see if she had any availability... she was super sweet upon our initial interaction and wanted to know what I needed done gave me a time slot... and the rest has been history. Stacy is super sweet and knows her craft like none other. She's extremely well versed in the new trends and executes them flawlessly. My nails last between 3-4 weeks with it being closer to the 4 week mark. I take so many pinned nail designs from Pinterest to her and let her recreate and she doesn't disappoint. Stacy is by appointment only, but you will not be disappointed!!! Anytime I'm out I get a ton of complements, so go to her ig and let her work speak for itself..... SHE'S AMAZING!!!! read more

I have been a customer of Ocean Nails since they opened their doors. The only reason I go there is because of Teresa. I have been a customer of hers for 7 years. They have been through owner and manager changes as all the salons do. I love the services they provide but this Monday I called and asked for an appointment and had asked if Teresa was back from vacation. The young man said let me check, came back and said no she's on vacation - can someone else do for you and can you come now, and I said no. I said I thought she was back from vacation, put me on hold again and came back and said no she is still on vacation and not here Thursday. I said thank you and hung up. I really needed an appointment for my daughter back to school so I called back and said I wanted to make appointments for the both of us, which I have never done. Same young man answered the phone and took my appointments and asked if I wanted anyone in particular and I replied just give me someone who is good. I also jokingly said, if Teresa is there and I come in I am going to be really mad. He laughed. All the conversations felt Shady. So I go in to our appointments and she is there and she is NOT ON VACATION. These salons need to understand if we want someone to do our nails and they are there they SHOULD NEVER try to get you to come in because they are slow or want to give someone else the work. But to make matters worse the manager knew I was mad and came over said her apologies etc. and that the young man doesn't work there anymore, which I found odd, that 4 days later he doesn't work there. I do not mind a manager trying to make it right, but some of the things she were saying were just not true. I feel heartbroken, I have been loyal to Ocean Nails all this time, I have spent A LOT of money there and this is how they treat their clients AND their great nail technicians. Very disappointed. If Ocean Nails treats their technicians this way I might need to go somewhere else, I am not a fan of not treating your employees like this, EVER, it's not okay. read more
