They do not adhere to the prices listed on the menu and will charge you extra for services that should already be included. I opt for the B1 package which is a gel manicure with a 10 minute massage for $43. The manicurist rubbed my hands with oil and lotion for 14 minutes and decided to charge me $50?! If you will charge extra for a massage might as well massage my neck and not constantly rubbed my hands for 14 minutes. read more

Have gotten my nails done a few times here. Quality has gone down significantly despite the same ladies. I've had them done by different ladies and I've only seen them look nice once or twice. I've tried going back to the same employee only to leave with crooked nails and an overall unsatisfactory experience. Pedicures are mostly good depending on who does them. Acrylic and gel nails, not so much. Don't recommend for that or anything other than pedicure. read more

She should have done my pedicure from start to finish instead of go back and forth and leave me sitting there waiting. Then she asked me for a tip out loud? Like really? You don't deserve one. I was sold on this place after having only read the Yelp reviews. There were three of us girls having a day out when we opted to get our nails done -- all pedicures. This place was packed when we walked in, and there were five more people behind us shortly after we arrived. I figured this *must* be the go to spot. There were several attendants diligently working but, from what I could tell, being sure to give each client lots of care and personalized attention. And it seemed like most everyone in the place were close strangers -- like they all knew one another simply because they shopped at the same grocery store, went to the same restaurants and got their nails done at the same location at the same time. Happenstance? Likely not. We were each seated shortly after choosing our nail polish colors and left to soak. For some time. Like 15 or 20 minutes. But it was not a horrible matter. We weren't in a rush, and I enjoyed the ambiance of the space. It seems a bit cluttered -- the space is a bit too tiny for the amount of foot traffic -- but it doesn't have that sterile feel that some nail spas carry. I found that my attendant was very highly attentive and thorough. Also, she respected that I was not in a communicative mood. Sometimes I just want to relax and close my eyes, but it is sometimes too challenging to do when the specialist wants to talk gossip the entire time. Not here! I was able to get into a wonderful, relaxed mode. I was very pleased with the prices. You can get a beautiful pedicure at somewhere between $20 and $40. Nice range for those of us who want to go simple versus those of us who want a bit more specialized treatment. I went with the paraffin pedicure, which is meant to help moisturize and soften the skin. This treatment also came with a half-leg massage -- up to the knee -- with a glorious oil that left my legs feeling silky for about two days. It was my first time receiving a paraffin treatment. After cleaning and grooming, the feet are placed into plastic bags full of the melted paraffin, which is warmed, but not too hot. The temperature was perfect. The wax shifts from its melted liquid form quite quickly into a gel and then the consistency of drying candle wax. Always, you can wiggle your toes, so do not worry about feeling like your feet will be constrained, cast-like. Afterward, it peels right off, and the feet are left feeling like you have run through a field of satin and velvet flowers kissed with the morning dew of cherub's tears. Seriously? Seriously. I had my service days ago, and I find that my nails are still in great shape. The color had dulled a bit, but I did spend three days at the beach with these toes. But no chips in the paint at all. I can't even put into words how strongly I recommend coming here. I previously went to a salon for years that continuously butchered my nails with lazy work, poor sanitation and double booking. I couldn't take it anymore and finally came to Ocean Nail Spa. I booked my appointment same day and had a bit of a tedious request as my nails had a horrible shape, color and acrylic application. Karen took the time to completely transform my nails from something I was embarrassed to have into the most beautiful trendy Pinterest style nails. She was very sweet, understanding and skilled. She understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen. I own a women's clothing boutique that also carries jewelry which requires photographic nails for product pictures and she did just that. The services provided were fine but I will never understand why I was charged $72 for a mani pedi. Yes they explained that "shiny buff" was an extra $4, but I selected A2, a service worth $38 and even with an additional $8 for the buffing (please note I did not get acrylics or even polish), I'm not sure why I was charged more than $46. If there were additional services provided, I was not properly informed of what they were or their pricing. I was gouged and I would never return and I would never recommend this business. If you're wondering why I didn't protest more while at the salon, you should know I questioned the bill and the it was explained away quickly and insufficiently. Well I'll be honest: I didn't want to be that angry black person demanding a refund. But I also feel that new customers should be warned. At the very least, they should provide an itemized receipt. I came here for a mani and pedi before going out of town. I told them I wanted gel nails. After selecting the color, they told me they did not have the same color for my toes and suggested to pick another shade, which I did. After a while, the lady suggested that I should get gel nails on my toes. I declined but she kept insisting "since I will be at the beach and the sand will easily chip away the regular polish". Mind you, she and her coworkers were already chatting about me in their language. I hate that but it's almost expected in nail salons (sad to say). After so much pressure, I agreed. BIG MISTAKE and LESSON LEARNED! At the end of my visit I was not happy about the quality and design of my nails. It was just poor execution overall. The color was nice but everything else was not as I expected nor close to the design I wanted. My cuticles were not properly done, I had leftover polish around my hands, and I had a cut on my big toe. The cost of it all was the most ridiculous. This is the last time I'd go here. Worked with a woman I've had before for a pedicure and Michelle for a manicure. The pedicure was fine, they were really confused about why I didn't want any polish. Massage was very very basic. The manicure was the worst I've ever had. You could tell Michelle thought that I had never had one before because she was skipping steps. She didn't clean my nails on one of my hands, and she didn't file either of them. When she said we were done I looked and showed her all of the edges and ridges on my nails and asked her to smooth them out. She phoned that in too, and really fix anything, just kind of faked trying on a few nails. I felt really bad about giving a very small tip. She stopped about 20 times to talk to somebody or answer a question or manage the store or answer the phone, and barely wiped the oil off of my arms. Lynn handled it with grace and was kind through out the entire temper tantrum. Please don't treat anyone who does a service for you like they are less then you. I have paid for very inexpensive service that initially attracted me to a salon... meh... The standard in the industry is to offer "callous removal" and that usually involves a more in depth massage. It usually costs a little extra, but I'm a sucker for a good foot scratching and massage. I have been up and down 2nd street and Naples, I have gone outside the shore to get a better deal. Well, my sistas, it's not worth the $10 you save. THIS place is the real deal. You actually get a TIMED 10 minute massage with a pedicure. And by the way, it's an actual massage. Not rubbing lotion on your legs which I do for myself every day on the shower, thank you very much. Besides that, the time and attention to the actual act of the filing, painting, etc that goes into a good service is not remiss at this salon. Like I said before, it's the REAL DEAL. Everyone here is very nice and friendly. I really like their operation hours. They open early and also open on both sat and sunday. I treat my skin with tretinoin cream nightly and I am very picky in picking a person to wax my facial hair, and the only person that I have encountered that could wax my sensitive skin without any irritation or redness is Tiffany (Tung). She is also very meticulous when doing gel manicure. My gel pedicure from her usually lasts 5 weeks and gel manicure usuaaly lasts up to 3 weeks. Oh did I mentioned... My latest addiction is getting eyelash extension from Jenny at this salon. She does very meticulous and natural eyelash extension that last at least 2 weeks. I did extensive research on eyelash extension and 2 important qualities are cleanliness and being meticulous. I would not recommend this salon. I was trying to treat myself after work and basically spent my last $40 on this pedicure and it was awful. I called at 6:15 and asked if they could take me and they begged me to come in right now even though they close at 7. I came in and the lady did nothing but rush with me and tried to add on more money for extra massage on my feet when I said no. She also upcharged me for gel when she didn't use gel as well as a deluxe pedicure when she simply only scrubbed my callouses. The polish is see through my nails were filed and cut so jagged. It's quite literally the worst pedicure I've gotten. And there were two other ladies in there getting pampered and no one was rushing them. I'll be calling tomorrow to see if I can come in to have them redone. As of this first experience I do not recommend going here. I was too tired to fight it tonight and just paid but I will call tomorrow and try to get things made right. read more
