I've never walked out of a nail service before but it was completely warranted for this place. I walked in in the middle of the afternoon and wanted a gel manicure. There was no one in sight, and the owner came out of nowhere pushing a pedicure when i only wanted a gel manicure and re-dip. I got my dip powder underneath re-dipped but in the process there was clumps of dried dip all over the underneath of my nails. She also ripped off a perfectly good dip layer previously applied and tried to rip off the other ones. I asked her to please don't do that, i just want a re-dip. I noticed that 3 of my nails were uneven with the powder and asked if she could reshape them. She kept speaking outside of english and laughing. I let it roll of the back cause that's neither here nor there. I asked for a french tip on milky white nails - SUPER SIMPLE - or so I thought, and i even showed two images of what i wanted. She proceeds to ignore the pictures and say "I know i know" ..ok. She didn't know because after 3 attempts she still couldn't get it. I told her i didn't want anything else to be done to the nails and for the color to be taken off. In between filing which she filed WAYYY too short, was cutting into my skin on every nail and rounded the nail edges when i asked her not to because i said to her "I don't like the edges rounded" I got ignored yet again while being laughed at again. I can only tolerate so much before i get disrespected when im paying for a service. Picked up my belongings and left. I will never step foot into this pathetic excuse of a nail salon again. read more

Worst experience I think I've ever had. Don't want to be too harsh here but please just beware. Walked in because I was tanning in the same center and saw there was a nail Place and was planning to walk in at my regular place anyway. Salon was empty with 3 workers inside. They took me right away and started on my pedicure and started removing my acrylics because I just wanted a gel manicure and as soon as another customer walked in, the woman doing my finger nails stopped and went to start on her. Long story short the woman doing my pedicure was going to take over and start my gel manicure when she was done with my pedicure and I noticed this was happening as more customers started walking in and them getting sat to be serviced. I politely asked if that's what was happening and she said yes that's what they were going to do and I said I was so sorry, but I didn't have time for that and I was thinking I was getting the services done at the same time. She ripped my acrylics off without soaking them, which was incredibly painful and I finally spoke up and asked if we could soak them off while my pedicure was being done. Which she did. The woman doing my pedicure took one hour and 30 minutes to do just a pedicure. I appreciate that she was taking her time but at the same time, I was really stressed about how long it was taking especially knowing my hands weren't getting done. It was $80 including tip for a gel pedicure and for her to painfully remove my acrylics and I didn't get my finger nails done like I had wanted. It just was really disappointing. Had they been upfront from the very beginning letting me know that they had an appointment coming in and I wouldn't be able to get the services at the same time, I would have gladly went somewhere else and it would've been no problem at all. I'm just so tired of spending all of this money on places, like this one, getting dishonest and careless service. Communication would have prevented all of this. read more

Do not come here, worst dip manicure I've ever had. First off, the lady quoted me one price prior to sitting down and then when I was done, she tried to charge me $15 more. It was a horrible job. They did not cut my cuticles and it was a manicure. She tried to remove the dip I had on my finger when I came in with cuticle scissors. Afterwards, my nails started to chip within two days, within five days, I had to go elsewhere to get my nails done again. Literally waited for an hour for the nail technician to take someone who came in after me, and disregard my appointment. One technician came over and even took off the nail polish on one of my acrylic nails. They said I just needed a fill, and then left. My mom and I have been coming here for awhile, and I even called to make an appointment for the both of us. I also waited very patiently until I was told the person after me would be taken first. So frustrating and inconsiderate. I would recommend just walking in because making an appointment is pointless. Highlight- my mom got her pedicure and it made her extremely happy. Stopped in to get gel mani. Greeted and taken in right away. Lance did my French tips. She's very thorough and does a clean job. She's very soft with her hands. Nancy added the design on both ring fingers. Wanted to add a little Halloween touch for the season. She did a superb job with the web design. The salon is very clean with extremely pleasant staff. Went in on Sept. 20,2012 weekday. I really had no problem with the girl the did my pedicure, But I got my lip waxed and she ripped off a big chunk of my skin. I've been praying all weekend that I dont get an infection. And she never checked to see the area of hair she missed. While I was getting my pedicure a lady walked in and asked if they would turn on the a/c.( I had no problem with that due to it was about 90 outside and inside). Then they went to sit her and she found lots of nail clippings on the chair and she declined having service done. She walked out. Good for her. Never again. I went in for a manicure at 3:30 on a weekday and should have known better when I saw that the place was empty. The ladies were all eating at one of the tables. I understand the need to snack, but the girl didn't wash her hands before touching mine. Then, she proceeded to cut me twice and cough, without covering her mouth or turning her head, right onto my hands. I actually felt the burst of air come from her mouth. Gross! On top of that, the massage sucked. I'm sorry, but for $11, you should probably not leave gobs of lotion on my arm when you didn't start with that much to begin with. The hot towel was a joke. Get seated for pedicure, someone else comes in and the owner leaves me sitting for 20 mins while she starts prepping the other person that comes in after us with NO APPOINTMENT. Came here to get my nails done Saturday night and had to come get them fixed today.... 5 days later never have I ever had to come back to a place to have her fix them because they're chipping off.... So as I'm havin her fix them she decides to just start giving me a whole new gel manicure when I just wanted her to fix the two nails ..... And decides for herself that I didn't want to keep my matte nails.....cuts my nails shorter than what I wanted and uneven from the others.... What's even MORE funny is that one of the BAD reviews on Yelp for this place is on a hack job for WAXING. I simply shut my mouth afterwards and just turn to watch tv. I look 5 minutes later and hes only on my 2nd finger with filing by my cuticles which NEVER takes that long---(which he even forgot to chip off all my lifting acrylic FIRST). At this point, I think to myself: Either grit my teeth and be pissed afterwards with the inevitable sh*tty nail job he's about to do and pay for it OR get up and leave before he goes any further. "It's okay, I'm going to go to my nail lady, this is going to take too long" "OH! I CAN GO FASTER?! I GO FASTER!" he says frazzled. Yeah, so you can do an even MORE sh*tty/half-assed job???!?!? Believe the bad reviews. I got my nails done here a few days ago and it was an awful experience. I didn't go to my normal place because it was so busy and I was close to the nail club. I thought, how bad could it be? Awful, it took forever, the manicurist's nails didn't seem clean, and she gave me the weirdest/worst hand and arm massage. I almost walked out after that. I really loved loved loved this place when Helen was there. She did just an amazing job on mani/pedis. She took her time and made a special effort to pay attention to detail. I made an appointment on my birthday in July and was told that Helen was off for the day. Went anyway because I wanted to treat myself & learned she had been let go from the salon. The nail tech that did my mani/pedi gave me an infection on my toe. I don't know if she cut too deep in my skin or if her tools were dirty but I have not been back since. Absolutely horrible experience. They removed my gel manicure by scratching it off with their nails. Instead of buffing them at the end of the treatment they told me to go wash my hands in the dirty sink in the corner. It was incredibly awkward, disturbing, and made me want to cry. DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. They are absolutely terrible. They do NOT listen to what you want to be done and will leave your eyebrows looking terrible! I went in and asked for a clean up of my eyebrows as they had gotten a bit out of control, and asked them to be left thick. The next thing I know she hands me a mirror and my eyebrows look like twigs as the owner proceeded to try and convince me she left them thick! Bad quality as well as customer service. The new owner really got on our nerves. She kept talking shit about customers, nagging her staffs, etc and thought that we did not understand Vietnamese. I went in for a gel manicure and it looks good. The technician was very nice if just a bit on the slow side. My only complaint is that after she soaked my nails in remover, she used cuticle clippers to scrap off my old gel. I felt like she was scraping my nails off and personally like when they use the wooden dowels. On the flip side, she did give me extra top coat because she noticed that nails chip quickly. This place is a standard nail salon as far as service and price. Also, they have a lot of painted nail designs. I would return when I need something basic, local and inexpensive. read more
