One experience can ruin my whole outlook. Definitely would have given 5 stars prior to my recent experience. I've been coming here every other month for about two years now. I've always loved the customer experience and have never been disappointed in my nails. Here is why I am giving 2 stars: I walked in and was asked to pick out a color for my mani/pedi. Not even a minute goes by and they ask me to sit down, without having picked out my color. I let them begin on removing my current polish and cleaning my nails. I was indecisive on my finger nails because I wanted gel but then my nails were cut too short so I wanted acrylic. Once I asked for acrylic I was given the response, "oh my gosh" as in "make up your mind". At this point I still didn't have a color picked out and didn't know if I really wanted one anymore. Finally I just asked for French tip and again, was given a little attitude. In the process of this, as my cuticles were being, my skin was cut. I was bleeding a lot and I felt the cut but the lady didn't realize it until blood was all over my nail. She frantically started pouring different products on it, which burnt, to stop the bleeding. Finally she put a cotton ball over it and I had to lie to her and tell her it was okay in order for her to stop hurting me. My finger nails weren't even half way done when my toes were. I never get designs but since my toes had them I decided to get the same one on my nails. Well, since I had two different people working on me, the lady doing my nails couldn't do the same design as the lady who did my toes. Let me tell you, it is a simple design. She was getting upset because I kept telling her she was doing it wrong. She finally gave up and asked the other lady to do it. In between all of this, the owner and the lady who couldn't do my nails right, kept going back and forth in a different language. Now let me be clear, we all know when someone starts aggressively speaking in another language, it's about you. I'm also a newly wed and I get that I am too young a lot. But when you are engaging in a conversation with your clients you do not down talk their life style. I was told I am too young numerous times while I was in there. I was asked if my husband and I live with my parents....why would you ask someone that? Apparently "in Vietnamese culture, we live with our parents even when we are married and we all split rent." I felt completely uncomfortable my whole stay. There is much more detail I am leaving out but needless to say, I will not be back. I will share a photo of how my nails look after one day. read more

This is my go to nail & spa spot! The ladies that work here are the absolute best! They provide me with the best recommendations for my nails and the care for them before and after manicures and pedicures! The massages here are the best! I've been meaning to try their full body massages. I've had their 20 min shoulder massage and it is glorious! They give the best pressure and will ask you what you want. I also have to rave about Jenny's eyelash game cause it is on point! She charged me 80 for the full set and 40 for my fill! Such a steal and she does such a good job! I'll keep it brief - I only go here for my pink and white/acrylic nails so I can't comment on their pedis and other services, but Lynne (the owner or manager?) does the best job I've had in 90803 in the 23 years I've lived in Belmont Shore/Naples. She is the only one who can keep them on for 2+ weeks consistently, and I should know - I've literally tried every single nail place on 2nd Street before finding her 3 or so years ago. I'm a regular here every 2-3 weeks getting my gel manicure w/Celine and a spa pedicure with Tracy or Tiffany. To be honest, all the girls that work here are great. I've never waddled away disappointed and I've been coming here for about a year and a half. My gel manicure is only $27 and lasts 3 weeks at least, where as I've gone other places and is lasted less than 2. I went in with the intention of getting a regular manicure with a top coat of glitter the woman tells me it's $4 for the glitter. She starts speaking in another language and then tells me yea you have to pay more for glitter. I ended up doing a gel mani which was $28!!! The woman didn't even use lotion on my hands, my gel is thick and has a texture. The paint didn't even go all the way down to my cuticles it looked like I had a regrowth. The worst and most expensive manicure I've ever gotten. Will never be returning and I do not recommend anyone to go there, there's better salons that'll do a better job and for cheaper. I have only been here twice so far. Once in February and then again this past Sunday. They even remembered me! Mani/pedis so far have been wonderful. And they last quite awhile. Definitely recommend this place to most. And we got 15% or so off the deluxe spa pedicure. read more

Do NOT go to this place!!!!!!! They were extremely rude. They made me wait about 45 minutes before servicing me, even when there were workers who seem available! They also talked in another language, and never interacted with me. The only time they interacted with me was when they were doing my nails. They were dirty, tense, and I saw them drop a nail file, pick it up and use it. That is so unsanitary. They pressured me into their services and never let me know that there were extra fees. When I got to the register, I ended up paying more than I thought I would and they would not give me a refund on what I thought I should have not paid them for. This is one of the worst experiences I've had in EVERY aspect of customer service based business. I was deceived by the four star review and have never been so disappointed by what my expectations were. read more

Ocean Nail Spa is amazing! I moved from out of state, and am SUPER picky about my pink and white acrylic nails. I went to probably 30 salons and was disappointed every time until finally finding Ocean Nail Spa. The girls at the salon are detailed, and have their area of expertise. For example, the girl that does gel's the best will stick with gels. The girls that do pink and white acrylic nails (my heroes!) will stick with that. Therefore, you get consistently good work. For the pink and white acrylics, they are even, smooth, and do not lift. The girls even made me my own pink polish by mixing colors so I could get the exact shade of pink I like. Rock on! I really like all the employees too. Yes, they speak in a different language to each other from time to time, yes they try to upsell you, but come on if you were in their shoes you would too. They are friendly, not overly pushy, and you can tell they operate like a big friendly family. I love this salon and will continue to come here exclusively. This morning, I received outstanding services at this nail shop. I like the location and the level of cleanliness is apparent. Kathy and Tracy worked together. They were both very attentive to details. I loved the extra "niceties" (prolonged massage of feet, legs, hands and arms, and an awesome chair massage.) For $10 extra, I received a very relaxing and professional massage of my neck and shoulders. I enjoyed Kathy and Tracy. They were professional and friendly (although not too chatty-allowing me to relax). I received a great value for the time spent, products used and quality of service. I will be returning. read more

Excellent nail salon! A friend recommended this place a few months ago and this has since become my go-to spot. They're reasonably priced and I've never had to wait long (even when the salon is full). I always get a gel manicure and they have a wide range of colors. Update with the latest & greatest ...I recently found out that they offer a 10 min/$10 shoulder massage while you're getting your mani/pedi!! I'm all about time efficiency & working out the knots in-between my shoulders while I'm getting my nails done is priceless!! In addition, they've started lining the basin where you soak your feet with a plastic liner. Nice!! Cleanliness is a priority, another reason why I love it here. My nails are still always on point and the staff is wonderful...did I also mention that they make me laugh? Comedians too. read more
