Sam was extremely neat and skilled with the cuticle clippers. I upgraded my gel mani and got a scrub, mud mask, and massage and I couldn't be happier with the service and results. I had mixed feelings about this place but only returned because of Sam. After today I won't be back. Raymond is very rude and ruined the place for me. After returning less than 12 hours after I got my nails done because I realized they looked very different than what I wanted, he very rudely told me I'd have to pay for a whole new set (I've been coming to the place for almost a year and have sent new clients to them). My tech Sam was still very nice and tried his best to reshape so that I would not have to pay again. Not a great way to keep loyal customers returning. I'll find a new salon. Update: I called earlier in the day to say that I would be late, you told me to come anyways we would just have to do the pedicure the next day. That was fine with me. It was the rudeness that I have a problem with, not with what was said. Not sure how the video could prove he was rude? So, that is pointless to bring up. Very nice owners. I had a regular pedicure done and loved how it came out. Everyone was very attentive. They offered water or wine. The spa was very clean and nice and they have pedicure massage chairs. Always a plus! I think I may have found my pedicure spa :) read more

I've been several times for dip powder nails. They do a great job and the nails last for weeks.

I am rating a 1 b/c I have never been to any salon that has burned me during an eyebrow wax. I went in for my usual main/pedi which Sam is great at doing and decided to get my eyebrows waxed. I complained while in the room that it was burning when the individual put baby oil on my eyebrow. I immediately asked for aloe Vera. I didn't realize that this individual burned me since waxing isn't ever a pleasant event, however once I started driving the pain was excruciating...i looked up and saw the biting red and location of the burn which was way lower than anyone should place wax. I had to immediately stop at Publix to get some cold water and antibiotic cream. Don't go for eyebrow waxing at this location. This is day four of trying to heal...so painful. Came here three weeks ago for the first time and must say one of the most impressive salons Ive been to. The spa chairs are nice & provide massage all over, the music is relaxing not loud and the basic pedicure includes scrub and hot towels. I did my nails with Jerry & my mom with Candy. Wouldn't go anywhere else. My mom and I have been coming to this nail salon for months and months and have not gone anywhere else. I usually get my nails done with Sam and he leaves my nails looking clean and fresh. My mom usually gets her service done by Raymond or Jerry and she loves them! They are amazing at accommodating customers. We have to bring my 2 siblings that are 2 years old and the other is 9 months and they do not make a huge deal about having them there. Okay...I never felt so conflicted and horrible about leaving a review cause I truly love the customer service here and how attentive these people are. HOWEVER, I must say I'm super sad and disappointed with how my nails came out. They don't look like how I wanted at all. First of all, I understand it is close to closing hours however, if you are going to rush through your work let me know and I'll happily book an appointment. But don't rush to get through your shift and leave the customer unhappy. I asked for blue chrome. Not only did the nail tech who serviced me rush, but he did not do a clean and nice job. He used the nail tool too harshly I feel pain on my nail bed, and for some reason there's smudges or smears on my nail. It looks like a smudge on a window that won't come off. I believe when he used the nail polish remover to clean my nail up, it smudged the top coat off and now it just looks unfinished. Plus the top of my nails aren't smooth and even, if this makes sense they look like they have an indent??? Like a bump going in but whatever. I paid 61 plus tip for my nails and although I truly love love the staff, I feel embarrassed to show face but I am unhappy with my nails especially for the price. It doesn't look like blue chrome at all I can still see the original color of the polish through the chrome and my nail has weird clear smears. My nail is two different shades of blue. I don't know how. :( I am super super appreciative that they squeezed me in last minute but fuck man, I'm disappointed in how these look. It is what it is. I'm stuck with these now. read more

First time coming to Ocean. I called soon as they opened & they were able to get me in right away. Kendi (idk if that is how it's spelled) took care of me & she was great!! Overall experience was extremely relaxing. Was offered something to drink. Soft music, amazing massage chair during pedicure, hot towels on legs (thats was a bonus surprise) and also mini massage by Kendi on feet and hands. Hot towel for hands too after gel mani. I went to Ocean Nails based on the positive reviews I saw on Yelp and I was not disappointed! In Miami, it has been challenging for me to find a nice nail salon with reasonable prices, friendly and considerate staff, and quality nail services. Ocean Nails has all three. I went in on Sunday for a french manicure and I knew I wanted either dip or acrylic. The staff was super nice to me and talked through what my options were. They were not pushy or trying to upcharge me which I really appreciated. Raymond did my dip with french and was incredibly patient with me as I tried to find the right shade for the manicure. At one point, he had done one of my hands when I saw that the color wasn't what I wanted and he did not give me any grief about starting over. He really worked to make sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. The salon was spotless, very clean and I felt safe the entire time as they have taken a lot of precautions for the pandemic. This will be my new nail spot. I love how my nails came out and I love the service there too! Would definitely recommend. read more

Nice place, I went for a 6pm appt and was attended to promptly. I was offered something to drink and was helped in picking out a color. The gentleman that did my mani /pedi did a great job. Music was low and therefore I found the place relaxing. The prices are fair and the location very good for me. I would however suggest perhaps something more entertaining on the TV other than the still screen of dome popular songs. There are also a couple of walls that could use some paint. Tried this spot out with my girlfriends called the day before to get appointments and it totally worked out for all of us. We made a lot of noise but the technicians were accommodating and so sweet. Everyone did something different. I had a deluxe pedi (amazing job by Sam even tho the nail polish chipped which was my fault due to going to the beach WAY too often) they time their massage so you know they go in ! It was amazing...
