I have been coming here for 17yrs with close to the same style nails depending my mood. Lisa is absolutely wonderful and cares about her clients. Always greets me with a smile and is on time for scheduled appointments. Her staff is nice offering me water during my pedicure appointments. There is a reason she's been in business this long! I get usually pink and white for work purposes and it comes out perfectly. She is fast and handles my nails with care. I won't go to any else. Prices are reasonable too. Just take a look at the picture and judge for yourself. By the way I spent 50 $ for these. It's been 3 days now and now they are peeling off and they are chipped. Don't waste your time on this trash. I made an appointment early in the morning for after work at 6:30pm. I got there and they magically forgot about my appointment and Had just started nails on a family of 3 who were walk ins. I waited 40 minutes before I stormed out. After 30 minutes lisa tells me " only 1 more minute" I waited an additional 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged me. This is just an embarrassment of a place. Even with an appointment I had to wait almost an hour, but walk ins get immediate treatment. 0 stars. read more

I went here a few weeks ago for a pedicure after hearing a lot of recommendations from those in my neighborhood. They were able to seat me right away and get my feet soaking in the water. My nail technician was good but did not get my feet as smooth as I would have liked (in terms of removing dead skin, etc). There was one point in the pedicure where I had to lift my legs at an uncomfortable angle for her to do what she needed, and it was not relaxing or enjoyable. It would have been nice to have something to prop my leg up on so it wasn't so uncomfortable. All of the staff were very nice and the prices are low, which is great, but I think I would probably choose some other places before this one. read more

I went here this past weekend to get a manicure. When I walked in it seemed like the typical Asian run nail salon. We were promptly greeted with a nice smile and asked what services we would be getting. I had gel done previously at another salon so they started by soaking off the old gel color. I'm not sure why but it seemed like my lady was in a rush. She left the foil and acetone on for about 2 minutes then proceeded to take them off and just file away at the nail polish instead of allowing it to detach from the nail itself. I've had gel multiple times and I've never felt like my nails have been ruined like this time. Then I soaked my hands in the given water bowl for all of 30 seconds before the lady started jamming my cuticles back. It was quite painful. After filing my nails I noticed some areas that were uneven or had tags and pointed them out and the lady seemed annoyed. Like hello I'm paying you to do the job right so don't give me attitude... anyways the lady went on painting my nails and I got lost in conversation with my mom. I didn't see my nails really till they were "done" but the lady legit painted over my cuticle on multiple nails and the edges look uneven and the paint doesn't even cover the whole nail. I didn't want to seem rude to the lady or to my mom since she was the one who took me and said she loves the place but I was pretty unimpressed to say the least. When I get my nails done next time I'd rather pay and take my mom to a place that pays attention to the details. I would not go back unless I didn't have another option and I'd for sure watch every coat painted to ensure proper polish placement. Pros - clean, friendly, quick, no wait time Cons - painful, not a lot of color options, manicure technique (removing old polish, filing nails, removing cuticles), 15 second hand massage on each hand, no attention to detail (see photos), seemed rushed even though no one else was waiting read more

I've been going here for 3 years. I get pedicures, waxing and on occasion I get gel nails. Last week I got gel for a work trip. My gel was peeling off only 4 days later! I called and was told to come back in and they would fix it. Well, when you pay extra for gel nails it's often because you do not have TIME to get a manicure every week. So unfortunately I wasn't able to go back in that day. I called back on day 9 because now I have only TWO nails that have polish on them. The lady that answered (who I believe is the manager) told me "it's been almost 2 weeks). Nope. It's been 9 days and they started peeling on day 4. I paid for a service that I am not happy with, yet they weren't willing to fix it. They will be losing a repeat customer of 3 years over something that could have been easily remedied. read more

I truly had a wonderful time in this nail salon. I went in with friends for pedicures and manicures in preparation for a wedding. We had made an appointment for a Saturday at 10am. A huge assortment of color polishes greatest at the door. We were wisked away to pedicure chairs and oh how wonderful the chairs are. I do wish there was a purse hook (though I may have missed it). This is my regular salon and I am always happy with their work. It's clean and prompt. I always schedule an appointment and, as I have some weekdays off, go at times that are not busy. The work is done well and I only have to go get my nails done monthly. The service is nice, not very chatty but friendly. They have also fixes chips on a walk-in and for free. They get four instead of five stars simply because I rarely get pedicures, usually only when I have an event to go to, and they always pressure me to get one, even once I say I don't want one this time. It's frustrating and unprofessional, but also easily the best salon I've found in the area and will return. read more

Upon walking in, we were greeted nicely and automatically sat down in a chair. It was a welcoming environment, but they didn't exactly smooth my feet as well as I would have liked. I had also gotten a fill on my acrylic set, and that's where my problem starts. The nail that had to be redone immediately fell off a week later. The polish was chipping less than 4 days after my visit. I had gotten many recommendations for this place, but it did not live up to what I thought it would. The grinder was used way too harshly, thinning my nails. The grinder was also way too close to the edges of my finger, leaving me with pain and scabs to deal with. UPDATE: Gel nail polish chipped after only 5 days and regular nail polish chipped in 3. So disappointed. The owner, Lisa, did a pretty good job on my pedicure but I wish she had put on the glasses she had sitting next to her at the manicure station. I left with uneven gel polish and a couple of jagged nails that I had to file on my own at home. They up-sold me to the deluxe pedicure, which was fine but the massage was not that great, and was a big disappointment to me but the absolute worst part was they assumed (and probably always do) that because I am Caucasian I didn't understand them talking to each other. Another woman in the shop was making fun of me for my nail color choice. When Lisa started laughing too, I knew I would never go back. Very nice to my face, scathing behind my back. The services were ok but not great and they have a pretty small selection of nail color (especially gel). They clearly do great business but I feel that if people knew how rude these women are, the customers would dry up immediately. read more

Terrible service. Not only are they rude, but extremely expensive for such a hole in the wall nail salon. Unfortunately, this was the closest location My mom could go to get one nail repaired, ( nail polish had cracked). She was greeted by, "why don't you go to where you got your nails done?". My mom replied because she was not close to where she usually goes. The lady continued pestering my mom, until finally my mom told her if it was a problem for her to fix just one nail, then she would go somewhere else. At the end my mom was over charged. It was supposed to be $3 to repair a nail and she got charged a lot more. I wish I would've done a little more research before sending my mom there. I always return here and I always recommend people to come here! Lisa the owner is quite the personality but that's why I love her. She's honest and cares AND she wants to make money for the business. I'm so tired of nail salons that rush you out the second they close. They treat you like family here and although their English isn't perfect they try to communicate with you. I will never go back to this place. I got my nails done on a Wednesday. I got SNS dip and I have never had such a sloppy job done. She put the dip past my cuticles and when I told her, she didn't fix the problem. They were so uneven and I just kept asking her to fix all the problems. It looked like it was her first time doing SNS because they turned out awful. On Thursday the top gel layer started peeling so today I went to get it fixed. You can tell the top coat she used was old because the brush was thick and had clumps. She painted those clumps onto my nails! I have never been so disappointed in a nail set before. read more

I will never return to this salon, because the people are very rude, and if they're wrong they won't accept that and let you talk! They are very overpriced and you can get the same thing you want at a different salon for about 15$ cheaper! They charged me $35 for nails that should be $25. They can't even explain their prices to you because they just want to over charge you. I asked the lady multiple times why I was being charged an additional $10 and she was saying because my nails were to long. My nails are very short, and if they were long I should've been charged $30. They can't explain the extra $5 because they are complete airheads. Just moved to this area and needed to find a new nail place! Five stars hands down! First of all, the salon is decorated SO cute in ocean/beach theme. Second, they have a huge selection of regular and gel polishes. There's about 12 pedicure and 12 manicure chairs so there's usually never a wait. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Ocean nails to anyone! They are very reasonably priced and always have a special. My favorite special is the deluxe pedi and gel manicure for $50! Such a steal :) the pedicures are at least 45 minutes long, you never feel like they're rushing to finish! Love it here! read more

The nails looked fabulous but the polish chipped the next day (THE DAY OF MY PROM) and looked really horrible. I got my nails done for prom the day before because normally the polish will last a week, i was not doing any outrageous things to make it chip, they just chipped. The polish was cheep and the man that did my nails was so rude to me it made me uncomfortable. It was not a very friendly environment for me. I got a mani pedi and the man that did it burnt my skin with the boiling hot water he put my feet in, when I asked him to cool it down he said "it was too full and didn't want to waste water by draining it" um...ok? So I have to suffer through it? Doesn't sound like good service to me, I have very sensitive skin and when he gave me the manicure he was so not gentile with my hand at all, he jerked my fingers around and they hurt for the rest of the day, not relaxing at all... I am honestly never going there again and will tell everyone I know not to ever waste their time or money there...Waste of $45 for me....I regret it so much. read more
