Started with the nachos and truffle fries. The nachos were not bad but not many toppings, very little meat. Truffle fries were yummy and crispy. We liked them a lot. I had the shrimp tacos and liked them a lot. Very good flavor and sauce inside was delicious. The birria quesadilla was filled with meat and tasted alright, really not too much flavor. Wish they had more fans because it's so hot.

I will start by saying that my opinion is probably clouded by the fact that my two best friends and I flew down from Virginia for the day during a terrible winter storm, leaving 20 degree weather and ice everywhere and our kids all being out of school for two weeks to come down and sit by the ocean in 65 degree sunshine and drink cocktails and eat shrimp. They could have kicked sand in my face and served me cold Taco Bell and I would still have thought it was amazing because we were ECSTATIC to be down here. So take my review with a grain of salt (or sand). I thought the food was FANTASTIC, the service was amazing, the view was what I imagine heaven would look like, and it was pretty much perfection. We arrived at the restaurant just after 11 and were probably the second guests here, so we were seated immediately, after being escorted here by the friendliest members of Eden Roc hotel. Our server immediately brought a carafe of cold water and some menus and adjusted the sun shades so we could take pictures and bask in the sun like lizards. She checked up on us a few times and took our drink orders while we narrowed down what we wanted to eat. We opted for the ceviche appetizer to share, I went with the shrimp tacos, they both chose the birria quesadillas, as well as the Life's a peach, pink bikini, and espresso martini cocktails. The ceviche was so good. We loved how fresh everything tasted, it was definitely the perfect size to share and it was cold and delicious. My shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had and the shrimp was so plump and perfectly seasoned, the veggies were super fresh, and I absolutely devoured them. The birria quesadillas looked and smelled amazing, they were stuffed with filling. The drinks were STRONG. The restaurant does add on a 22% service charge that we had to ask if it was a tip - whether our amazing server got it, or was it something that the restaurant charged or what so we would know if we needed to tip her individually (because 22% is a pretty standard tip I feel, but we didn't want to accidentally tip 44% if she did get it when this was our first of many stops in a resort town...) She did say that she splits it (with the bartenders and hostess I reckon) but I would love it if it said that somewhere so we didn't have to feel awkward asking. Miami is very much a tourist/visitor town, so definitely has some different policies than we are used to. Overall though, the stunning views and delicious food will definitely have us coming back on our next girls trip.

5 stars for comfortable dining by the sea. I mean the view is gorgeous here. We were lucky enough to get one of the booths by the ocean side and it's so relaxing. We came for lunch. The food itself was good. Your usual fair of burgers and such but a little more upscale. Our salad sounded great on the menu but was missing some crunch or something to add. The dressing was really nice though. We ordered the burgers that were pretty good and the truffle fries were excellent. Our spicy margaritas were a hit too. Service was friendly and efficient. I'd definitely return. Especially now with the cooler months coming. We had a lovely time.

Located in the Eden Roc Hotel, Ocean Social is located near the beach behind the main hotel building. The views are spectacular, so my friends and I decided to grab light bites and drinks following our check-in to the hotel. We all really enjoyed our drinks, but I must say, the food was lackluster. While the portion sizes were very generous, I eventually found myself eating to get my money's worth (and minimize waste) rather than eating because I was truly enjoying the food.

This location always has incredible service and spectacular food. You cannot visit without having the sea bass! It would be a crime. The perfectly seasoned filet that is grilled to perfection. The ambiance is sexy casual. It gives upbeat vibes and a nice place to meet people or curl up with a laptop that makes you feel like you are out but are able to be productive. They have outlets ask!

While staying at the Eden Roc, my family and I enjoyed brunch at Ocean Social a couple different mornings. I found this post started in my drafts from 2023, and decided to finish it and share! The ambiance is absolutely stunning. You get a great view of the ocean from your table or booth. The decor is beach elegance. Regarding service, I remember the staff being friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the beautifully presented tropical fruit plate. It was large and filling. The omelette was pretty dry but still decent. The French toast provided a nice sweet treat. The regular side of fruit was standard as expected--obviously not as much of a wow factor as the tropical fruit plate (which was of course expensive). The Cuban breakfast was a tasty choice and was also visually appealing. Everything was pretty good over all, but our star item favorite was the green garden pizza. It's very special and definitely stood out amongst everything we ordered. I look forward to vacationing here again in the future and enjoying Ocean Social.

We are staying in Miami Beach at the Nobu Hotel, which seems to have been a makeover of the original Eden Roc Hotel, while the Eden Roc built a larger, modern tower that operates as the Eden Roc Hotel. The two hotels are separate in some ways and joined at the hip in other ways. One way is this on-site restaurant, Ocean Social. Ocean Social serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner for both hotels. We booked our accommodations at the Nobu Hotel to include breakfast, which was only available with certain room bookings. There are two breakfast options for this included with our daily room breakfast. One is the lobby location of Cafe Inez, which we have not tried, as that breakfast is basically pastries and coffee, or a full and very extensive buffet at Ocean Social, where the dining area is close to and elevated above the beach strand and with seating that's open to the beach and provides lovely views from morning through evening. If you wish, they also have an adjacent indoor dining area, which is where the buffet is set up. While our hotel room included this buffet, it would otherwise run about $50/person once tax and mandatory tip were added (and about $60/person on weekends due to the more extensive serving time and additional offerings). The buffet breakfast has pretty much all you could ask for in a buffet. There's a charcuterie board, fruit salad, yogurt parfait, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, French toast, an omelette stand for custom omelettes, breads and bagels (with a toaster), assorted pastry, a variety of accoutrements, and I'm likely still forgetting something. You also get coffee or teas and a variety of juices, all served at your table by friendly staff On weekends they extend breakfast to brunch and add many additional, heartier food choices, including a beef entree (it was a brisket today), fried chicken, baked fish, rice, macaroni salad, empanadas, and more. All we've had was very good by any measure, especially by buffet standards. My single disappointment was on the weekend they replaced the daily pancakes with waffles, which were not so hot, as they were hard. We also had dinner here the day we arrived, due to being tired and short on time, so we dined on premises. We had the bbq ribs and the shrimp tacos that night. Both impressed. Frankly, this is a pretty good and reasonably priced option, at least reasonable by resort standards. If you can get a room the includes the breakfast option, we can highly recommend taking that deal. You will not regret it! Having had breakfast buffets elsewhere, this one was well worth the additional cost of the hotel booking.

4/5 food&drinks, 5/5 experience. incredibly friendly and sweet staff ; the waiter who sat us immediately brought our dog over a water (we were in an empty section near the entrance/exit) and everyone that passed by was obsessed with him which he didn't even notice smh. manz just wanted some calamari (and got)!! Ordered: Pina Colada + Vodka Martinis + a couple of the "Frye & Lime" cocktails + Margherita flatbread + Crispy Calamari + Social Caesar. Looooved that they served the calamari with a bunch of banana peppers! The Caesar salad was the best I've had in a while: punchy dressing, whole anchovies as garnish -- huge fan. All the staff we interacted with were so hospitable and kind. Views are unbeatable if you sit on the side by the water, but nice regardless of where you're seated. Really not understanding the lower score here but maybe we just ordered the perfect standard classics that they do really well and had a great time in general!

Food was amazing! I got the chia seed pudding it was the best i could have ever ordered. It was filling but still light breakfast. The steak and eggs was cooked to perfection. Coffee was very good. Service was impeccable. Everyone was so kind, quick, and knowledgeable. Ambiance was beautiful. You can sit and watch the ocean as you eat. Nice and easy breeze. Came to the Eden Roc for their fabulous brunch. Reservations are recommended as it gets packed. Valet is also the way to go Once seated we enjoyed the ambiance of ocean views and a live band. After ordering my coffee it was time to build my plate. They have everything I love. Fresh fruit, salads, yogurt parfaits, smoked salmon, charcuterie, croissants, meat, chicken, bacon, french toast,made to order eggs and or omelettes and much more. Something for the whole family to enjoy. Just make sure you were comfortable clothing.

Astoundingly beautiful ocean front restaurant on Atlantic side of Eden Roc hotel with slightly attitudinal staff and good but pricey food. 5 star ambience: you walk through the swanky midcentury modern glamor of the Eden Roc / Nobu hotel to get to Ocean Social, past the pool area facing the ocean. It is jaw droppingly beautiful, with sleek modern decoration inside and a direct view of ocean in all directions. It gets very crowded at peak times with a sort of mildly rowdy but classy beach party vibe. I went back later when it was fairly empty to get a pic of the design ( we were doing a sort of staycation at the Fontainebleau next door). 4 star service: the service was what passes for good in M Beach tourist areas. Reasonably good with nothing extra, and a mild hint of don't bother me. 4 star food: Food again is good but not great. This is the high rent district, and the food prices are high to match.

We made a reservation for a Sunday brunch at 12pm and our reception at the restaurant was very efficient. We got lucky that a table with a splendid view of the ocean was available. The service is super slow and it seems like the staff don't even know you exist! Even a water refill takes forever, let alone taking and serving your order! One of the reasons why is that 20% gratuity is already included in the check, so the staff don't have to put much effort into providing good service. They offer both brunch buffet and à la carte menu. And also bottomless mimosas. We chose "Avocado Toast" and "Ocean Smash Burger". Both of our meals were delicious, but I strongly recommend the "Avocado Toast". I really liked the relaxed vibe and the view here.

Had breakfast at Ocean Social on Friday and Monday during my trip to Miami. While you pay a little more, the quality of the food and the beautiful view and worth it. Quality: For guests of the hotel Ocean Social is a must, but it should also be on the radar for other Miami Beach visitors looking for a relaxing breakfast. The brunch is a buffet and can get rowdy, but during the week, it is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee and some food. During my visit I visited twice, and ended up ordering a wonderful Omelet and a fresh Acai Bowl. I was less excited about the Fried Egg Sandwich, but it was still a decent meal. Quantity: Large portion dishes. Value: $7 for the Cafe Latte. $16 for the Acai Bowl. $23 for the Omelet. $22 for the Fried Egg Sandwich. Ambiance: Ocean Social is a beachside restaurant located in the Eden Roc on Miami Beach. Sitting about two floors off the ground, it provides gorgeous views of the nearby beach and ocean. They have a small bar near the entrance, then a large covered patio with many unobstructed tables and booths. The music is upbeat and on the weekends they have DJs. One element to be aware of are many birds willing to get up close and personal for some food. Crowd: Never very busy. Service: Efficient and friendly. Parking: Valet at the hotel or a paid lot a bit north. read more

Brunch was great. They have the option for buffet style brunch or you can just order a entree from the menu. The food was cooked fresh. I enjoyed the chicken sausage, bacon, potatoes, french toast, an omelet , and fresh fruit. Even though I didn't eat all the items I chose. Do not get fooled by social media ads, we went there hoping to get healthy foods by the beach, we arrived for lunch and we had to leave, there are absolutely no vegan options. They change the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What a waste of time. Sorry but i will never go back. read more

I used to love coming here when it was Malibu Farm because of the ambiance. It sits just along the beach and has a lovely covering so you are able to still keep cool. Their drinks are so good. I love the frozen rosé. Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. Food was delicious and super fresh. Can't complain and I'm a local. read more

Just not good. It's that simple of a description. Sucks bc the space is so cool you wish the food was bomb. Stayed at nobu hotel so this was where you got food for the pool. I got the bbq chicken flatbread and fries. The quality is that of TGI Fridays. Also went for breakfast and had an omelet that was just blah. Potatoes on the side were something you'd get at a continental breakfast at a holiday inn. read more

Best pork chop that I have tasted for awhile and I was quite surprised on how abundance their serving was. My wife and daughter also delighted with their meals. Staffs are pleasant to talk to and we enjoyed the ambiance. Will definitely eat there again every time we go to Miami. read more

Had a great client breakfast here last week while in town for a conference within Fontainebleau. We walked next door to Nobu and ate here. Beautiful views and the food was delicious. Our waitress Simona was fantastic and friendly. The açaí bowl was a large portion and delicious. My client had avocado toast which I tasted and he too enjoyed. Definitely recommend. read more

Jane, the bitter, angry faced old woman working the front is such a nasty person. She said it was a regulation against having a booth seat near the beach with stroller, when we had no problem just a day before. Food is incredibly mediocre and they charge you 22% tip automatically. Stay far away. read more

The best thing they have going for them is the ocean view and the nice vibe. The food and drinks are average, and overpriced, especially given the small portions they provide. Our pasta dish was cold and bland. The worst part is that they charge a 22% automatic gratuity. Smacks you in the face when you see it. My recommendation is to just have a drink at the bar and enjoy the view. I would boycott any restaurant that feels they can dictate such an exorbitant gratuity. Shame on you Ocean Social. You're not that special. read more

The service is terrible, the food is subpar, and I'd recommend going anywhere else. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and tried almost everything. The only benefit is the cocktails are good. Food I'd Recommend: -Cheeseburger (delicious) -Fish tacos Stay away from: -Breakfast (subpar) -Salads (like a grocery store made them) read more

Decided to try this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel near by. It's a very nice restaurant with amazing views and they have fans and AC with helps with being outside in the Florida humidity. Food and drinks are really good but service was a little slow. Overall I would recommend if visiting the area. read more

This was our first stop in Miami and it was as good as it can get. We were staying at Eden Roc and this was one of its main restaurants, so we decided to go grab a bite. You get seated outdoors with a view overseeing the beach. It was beautiful and believe there is nothing better than eating while the sea breeze hits you. We dined here twice, once for lunch and one for breakfast. Both were out of this world. We ordered the papas bravas (our favorite), the shrimp cocktail, the black angus burger, and the seafood tacos (super delicious). Service was fast and the staff is super friendly. As for breakfast, I ordered the eggs your way and my husband ordered the pancakes. They were so good and the portions are HUGE! We also ordered coffee which was lovely. That day they took a little too long but they offered us a complementary fruit plate with the freshest fruits I have ever had. This place makes me want to stay at Eden Roc again. read more

Ocean Social takes the place of the now gone Malibu Farms Restaurant and that's a shame because a good restaurant was swapped for this sub-standard place. But there are positives such as the great service, beautiful views, decent wine selections, plus it's always nice to go into the Eden Roc Hotel. They serve the strangest Shrimp Cocktail without any notice of its weirdness. First a waiter smokes the dish and when the smoke cleared, I saw the small shrimp were soaked in a heavy yuzu sauce. What I thought would be a light item was a mayonnaise-soaked dish. Why the heaviness? Why cover up the shrimp at all. At $24 for the poor-quality shrimp, this was just not good at all. A Tuna Tartar was nothing special and the tuna was a little tough. Braised Wagyu Short Ribs at $45 was a smallish portion that didn't have much flavor and while it wasn't tough it wasn't tender either. What a shame that the beautiful place is wasted with bad food. read more

One of the best atmospheres you can find in Miami Beach. Menu and cocktails are unique and fantastic. Always have great service. Certainly can't beat the view! We enjoyed iced coffees, the kale salad, and the lobster roll. One of the best and fresh tasting meals we've had! read more

Stopped in for some drinks and apps while staying next door at the Fontainebleau. Didn't expect much other than the great beach view (which it has). The food was PHENOMENAL. Smoked fish dip - not the usual canned fish, but big chunks of fresh fish. And, the crisps for dipping were very tasty. Key West Shrimp Toast - not your typical greasy chinese restaurant style. A great, almost cornmeal bread, drizzled with honey. The filling was not a paste, but instead had large pieces of shrimp and a scrambled egg filling. But, the real piece de resistance was the creamy mustard foam dipping sauce, kicked up with a hint of anchovies. Fish and Grits - two large center cuts of real grouper (not the the phony tilapia) with an excellent blackening spice and a hint of lemon, over the creamiest, cheesiest, grits i have ever had. Our waiter,Milos, was the absolute best - attentive and personable. Fred was very helpful takung us on a shortcut through the underbelly of the Eden Roc to keep us dry during a thunderstorm. We will be back. Do not miss this place! read more

I should have listened to most of the recent reviews on here. I ordered the scallops as an appetizer and they were inedible. They had turned, the fishy taste and smell were completely overpowering. We had to send it back. Then we ordered the sea bass and ribeye which were mediocre, definitely not worth the price. The ribeye was not as tender as it should be and my sea bass was supposed to have lumps of crab and caviar. I couldn't find any caviar. The crab seemed to have come from a can. We waited almost an hour and a half before we got our meal. Our server and the manager apologized and tried their best to make things right but if the food isn't good then the entire experience is affected. Save your money and dine somewhere else. Trust me this place is not worth it. read more

They're down a badly-maintained staircase behind the host stand, through an untidy/messy lobby (we saw piles of dirty towels and someone's bike). The women's bathroom smelt terrible, like they hadn't emptied the trash in days. The floor was filthy, one toilet had leaked, and there was no soap. Such a terrible shame, it let the whole experience down.

The food was overpriced but we were open since it's in the Nobu hotel and we have loved that establishment in Dubai, San Diego, Vegas etc. We ordered our over price food. Table was sticky. First the server brought me the wrong drink 2 out of 3 correct. She took it back, took forever to bring replacement which was dripping everywhere (no wonder tables are sticky) wait an hour or so for food. A $24 omelets came out like rubber with the cheese just as firm as the eggs molded and hard. The other 2 guest had their food. The replacement came out about 5 mins AFTER the others ate... wait another half hour. Ask for the check, wait. Ask again and "the system is down". Wait 15 mins more for a paper check. Cash only with an automatic service charge for 3 ppl that was $19 of the $96.25 tab. Not okay. We didn't complain we were kind.... I give the server $100, and she slaps $3 down and runs off, sure take some more gratuity for your horrible service. I should have read the reviews, but the view hooks ya. read more
