We purposely planned our hotel stay just for the restaurant. We've been here about 3 times before and had the best food every single time. We have always told friends and family about this place when they mentioned visiting Miami. I dont know what happened but this is definitely not the same food. My lamb was really burnt, the lemon potatoes were missing all hints of lemon. I mean there wasnt even a whisper of lemon or any seasoning at all. It was potatoes and butter. We had the gyro lamb meat, it's served without a pita, but was delicious! The kefeties (don't know about the spelling) were awesome and my wife had the Greek salad without lettuce and it too was awesome. They have the block feta not just the crumbles! We planed our stay at Hilton Bentley because of the Greek restaurant being attached to the hotel and we can use our room food credits when we charge it to our room for being Diamond members. The service was good, but the only thing that bothered me is that they included the 20% tip on the check for 4 people without letting us know which is something that happens a lot in Miami and I didn't say anything because I was going to tip that amount anyway. Please be aware! The indoor and outdoor seating are very pleasant and beautiful. I will definitely go back to this restaurant even when I am not staying at the hotel. I was on holiday in SOBE and found this restaurant across the street from my hotel. I went for happy hour and was not disappointed. The establishment was large and had seating inside as well as outside in their pool area. When I arrived, it was not busy and I sat at the beautiful bar. It was quite the show stopper as I only needed ONE! The happy hour items are served on small plates and reasonably priced making it a fun place for a foodie. You can try lots of items without breaking your bank. I started with the Greek Salad, a staple dish to please any palette. There were Kalamata Olives, chunks of Feta Cheese, Cucumbers and Tomatoes dressed in EVOO. What an introduction! I then ordered the Spanakopita that were also served with a side salad. They were delicious, a little on the small side though and only 3 were presented. Still a tasty appetizer. For my last plate I tried the Fried Zucchini and was blown away. They were lightly battered, thinly sliced, deep-fried and a hint of salt. They were absolutely the highlight of my meal. Divine does not begin to explain them. A good sized portion was served hot with tzatziki sauce. I did take a trip to the restroom before my departure. It was outside in the pool area and clean. The halloumi was good as well and was fired tableside. I would return to explore more of the menu. Exquisite!!! We met up with a friend here for happy hour last week. She had hosted a group event earlier and we joined in after her work function had concluded. First of all, the happy hour menu is extensive! They have a nice selection of wines and beers. They had some HH cocktails, but our friend had ordered one earlier and was underwhelmed, so we stuck with wine and beer. We had a Mythos beer and the house Chianti. Our friend was drinking a non-HH white. On our way out, we took a gander at their wine collection and were very impressed. They have some really nice bottles here! The HH portions were very satisfying, and the kitchen clearly gave the same attention to the HH dishes as the rest of the menu. We had: -Calamari - excellently fried; perfect crisp and no grease -Dolmades - very good. Our friend's MIL is THE dolmades QUEEN, so the bar is high here. I have never had dolmades as good as hers, but these came close! -Greek salad - chunks of feta mixed with super fresh cucumber and perfectly ripe tomato -Spanikopita - flaky with NO SOGGY BOTTOM -Greek honey balls and Baklava - you absolutely cannot go wrong with sweets! The service was attentive without being smothering. The outdoor patio was just lovely, especially on a winter afternoon. Georgios himself bade us a fond farewell as we were leaving. A friend was visiting from out of town and as a host, you know you're one day or another going to take them to South Beach for an exciting beach day or evening. On our way out from the sand we stopped by Santorini By Georgios as I have been wanting to try them for awhile after seeing some weekday food and drink specials. The outside is lovely with a nice pool setting and live music that starts usually after 6pm that really helps make an early dinner or quick bite so much better. There are a lot of hanging lights around that reflect nicely on the water. Foodwise we tried a few different dishes from the greek salad that was adequately sized to the gyros which weren't actually gyros that we think of but pieces of lamb.
