Well, i showed up for my appointment, and Iris was NOT EVEN OPEN! I waited for 30 minutes, and finally gave up. I called and left a message, as i did not want my card charged. I think it is so disrespectful to clients to allow online booking but to never confirm said bookings and then to FLAT OUT NOT SHOW UP. I am so disappointed, given the fact that i made this appointment specifically so that i could have lashes for my bachelorette party this week. I can't even comment on the quality of service because this place is so poorly run that i couldn't even get in the front door. So glad i drove in the rain and then waited like an idiot. There's a bit of extra polish left on my skin, but that's not a big deal to me. Something I really appreciated was the attention to detail for my manicure. Eva made sure that I was happy with the length and shape before she started with the polish. I asked for an almond shape and she nailed it. The previous nail salons I've been to would always give me lopsided almonds. She also thinned out the acrylic because my previous salon made them so thick. She was really careful with the flowers on my nails and asked me if I wanted her to redo one of them because the petals were a bit large, but I didn't mind. For my gel pedicure, acrylic fill in, and designs, I paid $106 total without tip. I don't live in this area, but if I did, I'd definitely come back!

I should've let my nails look like junk instead because they look worse than when I brought them in. To start.. this place is dirty. She used a nasty old file and clippers on me. Then a party of 6 came in when there were 3 people working so she started rushing. She used a liquid cuticle remover and then cut park of my hand with the trimmer. It came to applying my gel polish she left bumps in the polish and filed my non broken nails CROOKED. She left polish in my cuticles, on my skin, and missed other parts completely. The polish is clumped in parts and a complete waste of 35 minutes and $20. Only go if you want cheap because cheap is what it is. Long lasting.. no. Quality.. no. Infection free.. I'll update this in a few days and let you know. UPDATE:: it's been 2 days and my gel polish is coming off on 4 fingers
