I strongly believe that the only good reviews were written by the employees under fake acco I stopped in for an emergency nail fix because a nail broke. I should've let my nails look like junk instead because they look worse than when I brought them in. To start.. this place is dirty. She used a nasty old file and clippers on me. Then a party of 6 came in when there were 3 people working so she started rushing. She used a liquid cuticle remover and then cut park of my hand with the trimmer. It came to applying my gel polish she left bumps in the polish and filed my non broken nails CROOKED. She left polish in my cuticles, on my skin, and missed other parts completely. The polish is clumped in parts and a complete waste of 35 minutes and $20. Only go if you want cheap because cheap is what it is. Long lasting.. no. Quality.. no. Infection free.. I'll update this in a few days and let you know. UPDATE:: it's been 2 days and my gel polish is coming off on 4 fingers read more

I usually do regular manicures since that's the least detrimental to your nails. Once in a while I would do gel manicures for special occasions, they last me at least 3 weeks (no chipping or gel color peeling from my nails). This is my first time going to Donna's Nails and I wanted to get a gel manicure. The place is clean, staff is very friendly, and I had a good feeling about this place. I had a design in mind. The original manicurist assigned to me wasn't able to do the design but she did the base gel color and then passed me to Donna, who completed and executed the design. I was really content with how it looked. I did my manicure on a Friday, by Monday I saw some of the gel paint starting to lift and peel from two of my nails. From my examination, the base color was painted too close to my skin so it probably caused the gel paint to lift from my nail. On Tuesday, I went in to ask if they can fix it. The girl there was really nice, she put on a gel top coat on the problem nails and dried it with the UV lamp. A few hours later, the paint just chipped off of one of the nails. I've been very careful with my hands because I wanted my manicure to last so I know the chipping is not from me man handling anything. I called them and they said they would have to charge me $2-3 to fix per nail and that was already the discounted price. In my opinion, I felt they should've fixed it for free given I just got a $40 manicure there and it was peeling by the third day because the base wasn't painted on well. I really wanted to make this place my new go to place but I guess that's not going to happen :T The only pro to this was when I had to remove the gel manicure. I usually have to soak my nails in acetone to break down the gel but these peeled right off with a little help from the other fellow fingernails. read more

I won't be going back. Pros: Cheap price ($20 for gel manicure). Clean facility and tools. Was able to walk in on a weekday with no appointment. Cons: I asked for a nude/pink color I always get at other salons. I gave them the polish name and number and they had this color at their salon. (OPI don't bossa nova me around). However, it was very lumpy and yellow. My nails are now tinted yellow. I explained that this is not what the color looks like and they stated it was correct because the bottle/name matched. Great prices! Very clean area with nice staff. The owner did my nails so nicely, and I will never go to any other place ever! Soothing and relaxing place with nice calming music. Not much of a wait which I thought was very nice! The owner even gave me a sweet little massage after my manicure, as my nails were drying. I love their nail drying system. It even has a bright light for gel UV nails. I didn't get gel, but I loved the light and used it for fun!! It was very entertaining to see the light turn on and off. My friend got a longer massage than me and I was kind of disappointed with Donna, but I will still love her and her salon for ever and ever. I've been coming here for years. The past few times have been the worst. Donna, the owner, used to be personable and caring when it came to her customers. Today, I went with my mother for a mani/pedi. My mother's pedicure was worse than what we can do ourselves at home-no one can look at her feet and tell it was done. She told Donna this and Donna did not apologize or even ask how we could fix it. My pedicure was fine. However, my manicure looks terrible. There's nail polish on my skin and the polish came out with bubbles. I told the manicurist and she tried fixing it but gave up. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have been coming here for years. They are friendly, professional, and remember you when you return. French mani/pedis are always done beautifully, and they even paint the cut edge of the nail. (It's a big pet peeve of mine when the white line isn't painted all the way over the cut edge.) Regular mani/pedi combo is $19.99 Monday-Saturday. If you need to wear heels that night and don't want to smudge your toes, try the gel pedicure for $40. It is magic and won't smudge/come off until you soak your nails for 5 mins in polish remover! I highly recommend it! (Just so you know, they use UV light to set the gel.) All of the employees are nice but my favorite for a regular mani/pedi is the older woman, Suzie. She is amazing with her technique and her massage skills are the best, IMO. I think she spends the most time exfoliating and massaging, too! Was looking for a place that would offer spa and nail services then saw the reviews and decided to try it. I went with two other friends to get our nails done for her 21st birthday. They have a great selection of current OPI and Essie colors. Though it was a 3 person walk-in we didn't have to wait very long. I loved all of the pedicure options and they were reasonably priced. We chose to get pedicure massages which felt amazing. The manicures were great too. I had the owner, Donna, do mine and I couldn't be happier with the quality. One of my friends even opted to have her underarms waxed and was pleased with the result. We all agreed that this would be our new spot. If you just want a plain mani pedi they have a great $20 deal mon-sat. Can't wait to come back! read more

My friend convinced me to do our nails and we came here to donna's nails and i can't believe how great of an experience it was! I don't know, it really depends on who you go to here. First time I went they had to redo my gel manicure because the lady who did it made it such a mess! That really ruined my nails. The second time I went, same thing. I'm thinking it was the same lady. I told her to go to the edge and she didn't. The polish is not evenly coated on the whole nail. The edges look faded. I use to come to Donna's because I found that they did my nails quite well for a good price! I would get a gel manicure once or twice a month.. Two weeks ago, I went on a Saturday to get my nails done with a gel manicure as usual and I paid $30 since French is a bit extra than regular gel.. Two days later, three nails of my gel polish were starting to come off.. It had peeled from the edges. I was so upset.. I am paying $30 plus tip for a gel manicure that is supposed to last for atleast 2 weeks.. I didn't do anything to my nails to have it come off like that. I go back in there and the girl who did my nails gives me an attitude and says "Well what do you want me to do? We have no guarantee on our nails" ( Her exact words) The owner tells me there's nothing she can do and that I would have to pay $3 each nail for French..I thought it was ridiculous.. I am never going back there again. It didn't bother me so much that it peeled. Whatever life happens, but the fact that she said $9 in total to redo those nails that were messed up is not fair to me literally 2 days after I had it done. Could have been old polish.. But if you are running a business, I feel like you should do the best you can to make your customers satisfied especially when one of your workers did a lousy job. Mani-Pedi is just not a luxury for most of us...but is a way of life! And I am happy to have stumbled upon Donna's Nail & Spa after trying a few and reluctantly staying with some other places! Very clean, professional and great service that makes you very comfortable and relaxed. The best part is they remember every single customer and always greet you with a smile! Donna and Liz is great with gel manicure. Suzie is the best when it comes to pedicure! She really takes her time to make sure the job is VERY WELL done. They never rush their services and I always feel that I am getting my money's worth! If you have ingrown nails....try one of the Latinas (if you can take a little pain...they do an awesome job on ingrown toenails). I've been going here for a few years, when they realized my sisters and I were regulars the manager acted poorly, she always rushed us so that they could give our seats to other customers. Understandable, as their are others that should have their nails done. UNACCEPTABLE : the owner Donna in a rush, was cutting my sisters cuticles and she accidentally cut her. She came home to remove her band aid because although the cut was a small one on her cuticle, it bled a lot. The next morning we observed their was puss coming out her cuticle area, this indicates that the cuticle cutter was UNSANITARY. as a regular customer I have observed how they clean some of their utensils, I was there one evening late, and they were closing up I happened to be the only on in the salon. They were not cleaning the cuticle cleaners they were just taking the supplies and in a corner of the salon, repackaging them in resealable covers. i was shocked!! My aunt was having a pedicure done a few months ago, the next day she experienced some discomfort in her big toe, only to realize that their was fungus growing on her nail. The podiatrist believes it was the unsanitary tools that were used during her pedicure that gave her fungus. long story short, her toe nail was removed and she no longer goes to Donna's. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DONNAS BECAUSE THEY ARE UNSANITARY, AND DONNA IS JUST PLAIN RUDE. HOPING HEALTH SERVICES WILL COME IN AND SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. ONE word people. FUNGUS!!! read more

I needed to get a pedicure and based on the reviews I walked in and they took me right away, that was the plus side. The woman that greeted me was very nice. There was nothing outstanding about the place decor wise or any other wise. I didn't get any fancy spa pedicure, just your simple, basic pedicure. The girl that I had was extremely quite and we had very little communication. The pedicure itself was o.k., nothing to rave about. But the girl giving me the pedi in trimming the cuticles, actually ended up cutting me on the sides and top of a few of my toes. No blood, just cuts and now sore. That's didn't sit too well with me. She also polished my nails; didn't need a manicure just polish. That turned out fine. When I sat at the dryers to dry my fingernails and toes, I think she forgot about me, cause when I went to leave, I had to remove the, what looks like some type of paper napkin to me, from between my toes. The prices are reasonable. I paid $20 for the pedi and polish. Not thrilled with the girl who did the pedi. Maybe she was having an off day, who knows. I won't be going there again. Will continue looking till I find a place that I really like. I gave it 2 stars because the price was right, the woman that greeted me was extremely nice and cause they took me right away. I like how affordable their prices are but the customer service is so-so. I messed up my manicure because I was reaching into my bag to get tip money when I thought my nails were all dry. This was 100% my fault but when I kindly asked if they could just re-do one of my fingers, they just went over it with another coat of polish in a very sloppy manner. I didn't complain and waited and waited for them to dry but it wouldn't dry because it was just too many layers of polish. Always get amazing service and treatment whenever I come here, and not to mention, my nails always look great. EVERYTIME i get my nails done here, people ask me where I get them done. It's a bit hectic in there and the workers do rush but thats completely understandable since there are clearly a lot of other customers who feel the same way as I do. I just came back from this place and they are not professional at all and their prices is not what they tell you....they give you a cheap price and when you're done they jack the prices up I honestly did not even want to tip these people the girl to do my pedicure just hurried everything up and did a halfway job when you talk to them they pretend to be dumb... Same with the girl to do manicure and when I was done they did not even take the stuff out from my toes I had to do it myself... Further more I took my daughter with me also and they said they did not even cut her nails they just clean it an polish it that's all..... They then left her there to dry her nails and did not even go back to check on her... The lady just sat they and do word search....I had to get her attention and then she said yes it probably is dry by now.....
