I didn't hire them nor would I. They were hired thru a third party to move a very expensive HillRom Progressa Bed ( This is an acute care bed with electronics built into the railings. It weighs 850 pounds.) from my home. Mind you, I paid $950 to move this bed into my home from my garage. They had no clue how to move it. They said they watched a video on how to move it before they showed up. They didn't bother to take the mattress off to make it easier. Even after I showed them a video of HOW IT WAS MOVED IN!!!! I even gave the name of the company who moved it in. They chose to go CHEAPER!! They dropped the bed in my kitchen. I knew they had to have damaged it. THEY DID!!! One of the rails was damaged. REMEMBER THERE ARE ELECTRONICS IN EACH RAIL. They had taken a board off the door casing in the room they moved it out of. They bent the heads of the finishing nails when they put it back. They were in a hurry to leave. Instead of fixing it right then and there, they said (Joseph Robinson) would come back and fix it. He gave me several dates that he would come (May 2nd, May 9th, May 18th, May 19th and May 21st) but never showed then ghosted me!!!! Guy floods Craigslist with ads, is super nice when you first call him. I called him to schedule a move, he told me to text him all the information for what I needed moved. So where do I start? I wish I could give 0 star. TLDR - STAY AWAY. If you somehow end up with them, take a lot of photos of your furniture before moving so you can file a claim to THEIR insurance company IF they have one. So I found this post on Craigslist and called him about two weeks before moving. This guy who calls himself "Mr. Robinson" answered and said he will email me a copy of invoice. I told him I recently bought many furniture since I'm newly wed and all of my furniture is less than a year old. Did not want to damage them and since I didn't buy them from IKEA, I would rather pay extra to move them safe. His response was "I bought it if I broke it." He kept forgetting to send me the invoice and 3 phone calls later I got it. $50 for truck and $85/hr for two movers and minimum of 3 hour labor. The night before moving date, he sent me a text asking if I can switch my time to noon instead of 9:00AM that I booked 2 weeks ago. Laughable attitude on the day before. At first time he was like "hey I understand if you need to cancel but please give me some time, not like the day of or the night before." I understand how it feels when people don't show up to their appointment so I gave him my word and kept it. But this is what you get for being nice to this company or this management guy. So they changed my time to 10:00AM which is not a big deal as long as they can move things promptly. So it's finally my moving date and the truck and two guys came. They came a bit late and took some time to figure things out. They started loading at 10:30AM. Way too small of a truck. I asked the mover if he (not Mr. Robinson) could fit my stuff in the truck. I told him it was okay to re-schedule my move if it's impossible. He called and talked to the management person (Mr. Robinson) and he decided to give it a shot. I asked him again and again if it's possible and he seemed confident enough to deliver that. HERE is the problem. Management didn't care to come out for lousy 5 minutes to figure things out and sent a smaller truck that was Penske rental. Classic. They had to disassemble my desk, dining table and master bed which is adjustable frame. Again, ALL of my furniture was brand new. Purchased in 2017 not even a year old. The furniture company professionally delivered it installed everything and nobody else touched it. Remember this point. After all those, they were able to fit everything except my indoor cycling bike which I paid about $300 for and a computer desk. The indoor cycling bike is VERY heavy and they knew it. They didn't seem to want to move the bike and the truck was ridiculously packed to the point there's no more spot. It took them about 5 hours to pack everything and I was tired so I just let them go. There go my new desk and a cycling bike. Some loss of furniture but I was okay until that point. Arrived to the new apartment which is about an hour away. It took them about 1 hour and 40 minutes to come which is understandable with traffic. Again, if they came at their scheduled time, 9:00AM, this would have happened. Of course I'm responsible for that time, $85/hour. I was still okay with it. After they arrived, they said they had to leave cause of their next job. I mean... what? They said they will unload everything and assemble my dining table and master bed only, not the desk. I wondered why and kept asking why. They said the screw is stripped and they cannot put it back together. Funny. A brand new modern design desk screw stripped. How did it happen? Most likely they did it when they were trying to disassemble more than when they were first assembled by the company. They refused to assemble my desk and they left it like that. They finished the job around 8:30PM which is 9 hours and 30 minutes of labor. Their fee should be around $900 (if it's 10 hours of course). They asked for $1180. I showed them the math and contract and they were okay with $900. No tip. NEVER to this type of service. So they damaged SO MANY THINGS. I used to have two desks and indoor cycling bike. All gone. I'm posting SOME of the damage (dresserS, bed frame, ottoman, sectional couch, computer chair, etc.). So after move I called Mr. Robinson and talked to him. I told him I'm so upset for his service and told him what happened. I told him he should have given a bigger truck just like I asked and he was like "you are the one who wanted the job done cheap. You should thank your mover if they tried to assemble your desk, you will be paying them. They saved your money" I mean... you need to hire an assistant. I NEVER said that I want a cheap job done. I paid $2000 for that desk. I don't care if you need to spend an hour assembling it. I paid more than $5000 for my sectional. I don't want them damaged. After some talk, he said "I will come out there and assemble the desk for you. I want you to be happy with your move." That was more than a week ago. Never heard back from him. My review it's very similar with the rest. - I chased Joe two weeks for an invoice. - the morning of he txt me they'll be two hours late. - they came with a small truck, resulting in two trips. - they were sloppy and don't use covers damaging the furniture and other stuff. These guys are wonderful. I had to move Tuesday, my original company bailed on me. They also kept my deposit too. I called here and talked to the boss and explained my situation. A few hrs later I had 3 nice, polite guys getting all my furniture off my 2nd floor deck. They were super nice and understanding, I became an emergency move and they got the job done. They hustled and hustled and it didnt take long. Ty so much to Carl, Lou and malik(sorry if I misspelled names). I would always recommend them, and if I need movers again they are the first place I'm calling. Ty so much for helping me get home. read more

Rip off movers. Missing jewelry, missing items, damaged my things, some of other items are missing and they damaged the walls of my apt. $650 worth of damage. They told me they'd fix the damage and when I called they blew me off, so now the money is being taken out of my security deposit. They also told me they'd retrieve my missing items. If there were no stars, i would have gone for it. The movers are underpaid, slow and careless (the ones i got)! Avoid the rip off and the damages (even if minor). Gives low prices over the phone as bait, then takes advantage of people. "Joe/Joseph", who seem to be the manager/owner is a rude, ill mannered scum, with no experience and will not help out in any way, just cares about what to charge. These guys are fantastic! The movers I'd contacted earlier bailed on me, and it being just a couple days out from September 1st in Boston, I was pretty sure I wouldn't get my furniture out of my apartment before my lease was up. Called up Joe and he was able to fit me in with an hour and a half of notice. They showed up right on time and got to work right away. The movers were courteous and friendly and knew exactly what to do. They executed a tricky move out of my third-floor walk-in, including wrapping and hauling my 500-pound California King mattress in a cramped storage unit. Really competitive rates to boot - I'd recommend them to anyone. Definitely calling these guys for my next move. read more

I found out about this company through a friend, who had a good experience. I decided to go with them due to word of mouth as well as competitive pricing. I booked a storage moving job from Syracuse, NY to Providence, RI. They did excellent work. The owner and crew were very professional and treated my belongings with care. The owner of the so-called business is psychotic and boarders on being a stalker. STAY FAR AWAY! I scheduled a move with him at least a month before my move date. Two weeks prior to the move date, actually 15 days, I let him know that I needed to postpone my move by a week. He said he was booked that day and would be unable to accommodate me. So, naturally I started looking for another mover since he was not available. I called him one last time and left him a voice mail-- 9 DAYS prior to the original date we had cancelled. (Remember, I told him that my plans had changed). Well, this lunatic called me back and starts ranting and raving that I wasted his time, that he turned down jobs because of me, and that he's going to "pay me a visit" to collect a $100 truck fee. I was absolutely shocked. He went on and on in text messages and basically threatened me. It got so bad that I went to the police station to file a report. This guy has some major anger issues to say the least. If there was a way to give him minus 10 stars, I would. I have him more than enough notice, so for him to rant like that was just unbelievable. Don't believe me? I have his date-stamped text messages to prove it. If he comes near me again or tries to contact me, I will send the police to his door. They are just waiting for my call. read more
