Ocean Steak is located in Ocean Casino Resort on the casino level. They are open Tue - Thu 5PM - 10PM and Fri - Sat 5PM - 11PM. My buddy and I stopped in for the first time last night with a 9:00 reservation. We were seated promptly. We started with the NJ Diver Scallops, which came with a silky corn purée, chive oil, and a pop of tobiko. Yum! For dinner, we shared the 26 oz bone-in ribeye, cooked to a perfect medium rare and bursting with flavor. On the side, we had the 5 cheese lobster Mac, roasted asparagus, and potato purée. Every dish was spot on! Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the quality of food. Our server took our order and then disappeared, we actually had to flag down another staff member to find him. Thankfully, the food was outstanding and everything arrived as it should, so we were able to enjoy the meal without needing much else. We have been going outside of the Ocean for dinners and forgot about the Ocean Steak. Atmosphere, ambiance and food are all top notch. We had a good waiter - very gracious and on top of service. An amazing Steakhouse inside the gorgeous Ocean Resort. This Steakhouse falls right in line with the big boys.. Morton's, Capital Grille, even Mastro's. The bar is located in the front as soon as you pass the hostess stand and is giving sexy vibes with cool music playing in the background. We started with pre-dinner drinks as usual and our bartender was super friendly and made our drinks to perfection! The hostess came and got us once our table was ready. We were a bit surprised how crowded this high end Steakhouse was since it was a freezing cold random February weekend. Even with that, service was great. Everything came out in a timely manner except for the crab cake, which was a few minutes behind. The food was freakin delicious! We went with the bone-in Ribeye, Chilean Sea Bass, crab cake, and my hefty portion of lamb chops, which had me smiling until I couldn't eat anymore... Lol! And of course the loaded lobster mac that could have literally been a meal all on its own! Our server was engaging and had a cool demeanor and kept us engaged. We'll definitely be back sometime this Spring/Summer, since we had such a good time in AC. So Ocean Steak, here we come!!!

My birthday weekend started with Dinner at Ocean Steak in AC. What a treat! We had reservations but still had to wait. I will admit they were busy. Service, they are a fine dining establishment. Get up from the table and your server is making your cloth napkin pretty for your return to the table. No manager presence this evening so that was off from a typical fine dining experience. Dishes were brought to the party at different times. One of our party waited at least 5 minutes for her food and so she just watched us eat because well, we dug right in! A few misses but a wonderful night! Food was delicious! Let's get Into It! Caesar Salad - Exceeded Expectations Lobster Mac - Exceeded Expectations and this lobster Mac probably had a whole lobster in our dish! Worth every penny! No cheating on the lobster at this place. Chilean Seabass - Delicious! I ate it all! That's something I never do! Exceeded expectations! Lamb Chops - Excellent- Exceeded expectations. Drinks - Delicious reasonably priced too! Would recommend and return!

Visited for happy hour on 10/28. Seated in the lounge area since the bar was full. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Didn't catch her name but she had a slicked back long ponytail. I ordered a gin and tonic and hubby had a "Hey Jealousy." Both were good but hubby's drink was very good! To eat, we ordered the sliders, truffle fries, chicken and wontons. Everything was pretty good. The sliders were a bit dry. We paid $100 for 2 drinks a piece and 4 appetizers. I thought the price was reasonable.

Very good experience at Ocean Steak. We had an apps meal. French Onion Soup, Wagyu Meatball (which was huge), baked potato and a Wedge Salad. We weren't a fan of the French Onion Soup, it had an overwhelming Rosemary flavor to it. Other than that everything else including the service and atmosphere was excellent.

Food was good. It wasn't exceptional and probably not worth the price. The service was amazing. I love the presentation of every dish they brought. The atmosphere was lovely. We ordered a big selection of food. The chicken franchise had too much sauce on it, which made potatoes very soggy. The brussels sprouts were not very crispy and the crabcake was a little fishy, you can tell there were no breadcrumbs which I liked, but it needed a spicier aïoli. The scallops were just OK.

This was my first visit to this establishment. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night however it was a holiday weekend. Yet. Ambience was nice. Very much in Xmas holiday spirit. Beautiful Decor. And staff was super pleasant and helpful. Food was beyond amazing. Max and cheese. Huge serving and perfect - cheesy and flavorful. Mushrooms absolutely delicious. Salad great. Shrimp was not grilled as i expected but very good. Crab cakes full of crab meat and not all that filler. I cannot wait to come back I also ordered spinach but they forgot it which was fine. I really did have enough. Great place !

I love trying happy hours when I am in different places. I was looking for a Friday night happy hour in Atlantic City and I decided to go to Ocean Steak. If you don't pay attention to the signs on the casino floor, this venue can be hard to find. When I arrived, I sat at the bar. There is a great view of the boardwalk depending on where you sit. You can also sit at the tables by the bar and enjoy happy hour. I ordered the red wine of the day; it was a Pinot Noir. For the food happy hour choices, I ordered the crab wontons, waffle fries, gochujang wings, and smash burger tacos. The crab wontons were okay. I wish they were pan fried a bit more. When someone else's order came out. It was pan fried the way I would've preferred mine. The wings were delicious and cooked crispy as requested. The sauce on the wings were amazing. The smash burger tacos were burgers in tacos opposed to bread. The sauce in the tacos were delicious. Overall, the service was great. Craig was my bartender and he was amazing.

We visited this Ocean Casino Steak house since we were watching a show. I'm so glad we did as the food and service was amazing. The Mac and cheese portion was huge. Steak was perfectly cooked. The salmon was tasty. We will be back

One of the best steak dinners I've ever had! From start to finish, the bread and butter, wedge salad, dinner itself and birthday dessert was unreal! Laurel was a fantastic server! She checked in periodically, offered meal suggestions and was very kind. The food came out quick and all of the meat was cooked exactly how we ordered. There are floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The lighting is dimmed offering a "classy" ambiance. Great way to celebrate my birthday!

One of the better Atlantic City restaurants. Have eaten here a couple of times. Food is good, really nice sized portions. Service is friendly and quick. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Old school steakhouse type of vibe. Located on the lowest level of the resort. Drinks are well made. Enjoyed the smoked old fashioned.

The staff was cold, dismissive, and openly rude -- not just inattentive, but deliberately disrespectful. The looks, the tone, the body language -- everything about the interaction felt degrading. As Latinos, we were made to feel unwelcome and unwanted. It was painfully clear that we were not being treated with the same basic courtesy given to others. No one should ever walk into a restaurant and feel judged or looked down on simply for who they are. To make matters worse, the place was dirty and poorly maintained, and the food was mediocre at best. For the way we were treated, the quality of the meal didn't even matter -- the experience was already ruined. There is absolutely no excuse for making customers feel uncomfortable or disrespected. I would strongly caution anyone who values dignity and professionalism to think twice before spending their money here.

PRIDE, PORK CHOPS & PURE JOY AT BYRDCAGE ATLANTIC CITY…read more Atlantic City was absolutely glowing this weekend during the Atlantic City Great Pride Festival at O'Donnell Park near Stockton University. More than 1,000 people were expected to attend, and the energy was incredible--music, dancing, laughter, and love everywhere you looked. Just two short blocks from the festival at 3426 Atlantic Avenue sits one of Atlantic City's true gems: Byrdcage Atlantic City. I stopped in throughout the day to cool off, enjoy some mimosas and other refreshing low-alcohol beverages, hydrate, and eventually have dinner. From the moment I walked in, I immediately got why this place has such a loyal following. First, the cleanliness deserves its own paragraph. I have visited restaurants all over the country, and I honestly don't remember seeing an establishment this spotless. The interior and exterior were immaculate. Not a spot of dust. Even during one of the busiest days of the year, the restrooms remained roomy, pristine, and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The décor is whimsical, fun, and carefully curated with fascinating photos and memorabilia everywhere you look. Outside, colorful murals create the perfect backdrop for photos and add even more personality to an already vibrant space. And then there was dinner. My server, Isabella, was friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. She even arranged for a dinner entrée to be served before dinner service had officially begun, and I was so grateful she did. I ordered the Seoul Mate Sizzle Pork Chop Platter, and wow. A beautifully grilled bone-in pork chop glazed in a sweet and savory sauce and served over fresh pineapple salsa, alongside creamy herb rice and perfectly cooked vegetables including broccoli, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, and carrots. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the pineapple salsa took it to another level. It was one of those meals where you intentionally slow down because you don't want it to end. And the music? The music made me dance almost all day and well into the night. There was something happening everywhere--at the Pride Festival, downstairs, and upstairs on the dance floor. The DJs absolutely nailed it. Great music, great energy, and great people. I honestly lost track of time because I was having so much fun. Management was everywhere--engaged, attentive, and laser-focused on every detail of the operation. The entire team worked together seamlessly to create something special. More than anything, Byrdcage felt like what every establishment should aspire to be: a safe space filled with kindness, inclusion, acceptance, and pure joy. It was family-friendly, welcoming to everyone, and simply fun. I even bought a Byrdcage shirt at the festival because this is exactly the kind of local business I enjoy supporting. If you're visiting Atlantic City, don't just come for the casinos. Come for experiences like this. Come for the people. Come for the music. Come hungry. Come ready to dance. And absolutely make time for Byrdcage Atlantic City. I'll be back. #ByrdcageAtlanticCity #AtlanticCity #AtlanticCityNJ #AtlanticCityPride #GreatPrideFestival #Pride #LGBTQIA #LoveIsLove #InclusiveSpaces #SafeSpace #YelpElite #Foodie #PorkChopPerfection #Mimosas #DanceAllDay #DanceAllNight #SupportLocal #FamilyFriendly #RestaurantReview #AtlanticCityEats #VisitAtlanticCity #JerseyShore #StocktonUniversity #ODonnellPark #OrangeLoop #EatLocal #ACNJ #PrideCelebration #GoodVibesOnly #PureJoy #AtlanticCityBoardwalk #BeachVibes
