This place is so good! I am so happy to had make a last minute reservation. A little off the boardwalk but still easily accessible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is busy but we had a lovely seat upstairs next to a window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We appreciated the interior design and loved to know that this place has been around for 100 years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was fantastic and helpful with the menu. She was attentive with our food and drinks. The seafood tower was amazing and felt worth it for $56. The filet was tender and making it "Oscar" style was a great idea. My boyfriend didn't like his steak as much as mine but said it was decent. The banana crème pie was amazing as well and I highly recommend to end the night with. We also order a side of brussel sprouts which were pretty good. This spot is PRICEY, but well worth it.

Great experience for dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat upstairs in the little semi private room looking out the window which was nice and quiet enough to carry on a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wanted the 4 of us to sit at a table in the bar even though we made our reservations weeks ago! Our waiter Omar was very nice, worked there many years and was attentive. The food was good but not outstanding as you might expect from a high end restaurant. Also no specials offered. We had the salmon, seafood risotto, and surf and turf

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Knife & Fork Inn, a true Atlantic City treasure since 1912, greets you like a time capsule--ornate woods gleaming, historic photos whispering tales of old glamour, and every detail preserved with loving care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The moment you step inside, the charm envelops you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter (Tim) was the best we've had in years: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. The kitchen elevates classics with creative flair--shaved cilantro mignonette to enhance the pristine oysters and seafood tower, house-made sauces adding depth to the steak. The fresh seafood shone, but the crab cake stole the show: an exorbitant bounty of sweet lump crab, barely bound, golden and flawless. Save room for dessert. The crème brûlée indulges with a crispy peanut tuile, and the berries with cream are far more thrilling than its name suggests. A notch above--history, heart, and exceptional plates. Return visits guaranteed.

I have been hearing about this place forever, and finally had a chance to go see what all the talk was about. It's April so it wasn't that busy. My sister in law loved the halibut saying it was one of the best she ever had. The salmon was also perfectly prepared. The seafood risotto was packed with shrimp, scallops and crab. There was enough for two more meals . I really enjoyed the French onion soup..Tony was very patient with all our questions and gave good advice on his favorite foods. The banana cream pie was the best!

What a nice spot in Atlantic City! I stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night and boy oh boy is it busy! You'll definitely want a reservation for this spot. There is valet and a little bit of self parking for cars but plan accordingly as it is a small parking lot. My server, Elizabeth, was incredible. Super nice, matched the chill vibe I was emitting, and was very on top of service. Food was excellent- loved the lobster bisque (though I do prefer my bisque a bit creamier) and the salmon was an absolute delight. The restaurant is quite cozy but it can get quite loud (just something to keep in mind if you are booking.)

We could only get a 4pm reservation so we snatched it up. The bar and second floor were packed when we arrived. They have a small lot and valet parking. The restaurant is a large old house. You have to walk up the stairs to get to the floor you're dining on. We were taken up to the 4th floor and had a great view of the ocean. Omar, our waiter and everyone who helped us were great. Drinks are reasonably priced. They had a good wine list at $12 a glass. We started with the calamari- light and crispy and not chewy at all. Sliders were medium rare with cheese and onions. Everyone loved the thick cut bacon and Cesar salad. We ordered multiple filets and the pork chop for dinner. The filet comes with broccolini. They were cooked to perfection! Mashed potatoes, onions rings, carrots, crispy beans and oysters exceeded our expectations. It's not listed on the menu but they will make a plate for the kids too! We had no room for dessert but wish we did. This was a great experience overall from beginning to end!

Came in from Brigantine for dinner last Sunday night. The restaurant has valet which makes driving there a breeze. We didn't have to wait long for our reservation. The dining room upstairs has a very old medieval vibe. It was an eclectic crowd dining there. Carmen, our server, was very friendly and helped make menu and drink recommendations. We each had a bowl of soup to start. My husband said the french onion was one of the best he had. I enjoyed my corn & crab chowder. For mains, I went with the halibut per my servers recommendation. Unfortunately, the dish missed the mark. It came out cold and rubbery./ tough - it was clearly overcooked and then sat there for a while before being served. I sent it back and even after it came back out 5 minutes later warmed up, it still didn't taste very good. My husband's dish on the other hand came out nice and warm and he thoroughly enjoyed the short rib. We also got the fried green beans as a side - tasty and a huge portion. All in all, it was a mixed experience. I'd probably give this place another try if I was in the area in the future and order meat.

Happy hour Lobster Spring Rolls so tasty

My husband and I finally went to the third of the Dougherty restaurants Knife and Fork in Atlantic City for their fabulous happy hour and we were not disappointed! The happy hour is daily from 4-6 pm, we got on line right around 3:45 or so to make sure we scored bar seats, and we promptly ordered cocktails! We ordered up a High Roller Manhattan for each of us then we had to get the star of the show.. their INCREDIBLE Seafood Sampler for two amazingly priced at $56! This platter was chock full of oysters, tuna tartare, shrimp, colossal crab and lobster cocktail! Absolutely so fresh, abundant and delicious! We literally saw a party of 4 come in, order a bottle or two of wine and each person ordered this seafood sampler! We followed that up with the Crispy Duck Leg Confit (we're suckers for a nice duck confit and as it's difficult to find we order it when we see it!).. it was super tasty! We also ordered the tasty Steak Skewers, and Lobster Spring Rolls and every bite was wonderful! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was great, atmosphere was really fun and we will absolutely be back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Have been here before and I am never disappointed! No complaints about the steak or sides. The high roller Manhattan is slightly on the sweeter side. Hands down the best Manhattan I've ever had.

Service was great Uriel was amazing but yhr food left A lot to be desired. We got the lamb chop appetizer which was the standout. The cheese plate was good. The main entrees were not great. Husband $43 swordfish came out lukewarm warm and had to be sent back and was more steamed than seared. I got the chicken Milanese and you needed a chainsaw to cut it. But the flavors were decent. Pretty location. Great service but not the best food.

Nice elegant restaurant, right inside of an old Inn. This establishment really makes you feel like you're dining in an old home. Their menu is mid-high price but the food is amazing. The waitress was helpful in explaining the menu to us. After our meal was completed, they offered dessert. Since we felt at home and the menu offered a variety, we each chose something off the menu. I also had an americano as well. The meal was very filling for the price.

Amazing atmosphere, complimentary valet parking and very attentive service. Excellent preparation of steak and lamb! The onion rings (yes- onion rings) were addictive, the seafood risotto was outstanding and the lobster bisque was amazing. They have an extensive wine list and excellent cocktails. The dining room was cozy but a little loud. I would deduct a half a star if I could, but only because the restrooms were a little small and the stairs were a little hard to navigate. There is no kids menu here, but if you have a picky eater the sliders were good.

Knife & Fork Inn is a steak and seafood restaurant located on Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City. They are open Sun - Thu 4PM - 9:30PM, Fri 11:30AM - 10PM, and Sat 4PM - 10PM. Reservations required. My friends and I stopped in for dinner last Friday night for the first time. We had an 8:00 reservation and were greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. We started with the cornmeal crusted calamari, which was fried to perfection. It came with pickled peppers and a delicious Calabrian chili aioli. For my entree, I ordered the Knife & Fork Inn Dinner, which includes corn and crab chowder, a Jersey tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, a 1-pound lobster Thermidor, and an 8-ounce filet mignon, all for $76. The chowder was sweet and succulent, the mozzarella was fresh and flavorful, the lobster was decadent, and the filet was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Everything was absolutely amazing! My friends ordered the seafood risotto and the filet mignon, and they both loved their meals. The risotto is made with shrimp, crab, scallops, asparagus, and mushrooms. I had a few bites and completely agree, it's fantastic! Our service was just as impressive as the food. Wilson was personable and professional, and he made sure our first experience was a memorable one. We sat at the bar, which had a dark and moody ambience, and was quite busy on this Saturday evening. The cocktail menu was very interesting, and included whiskey cocktails made using Rabbit Hole bourbon. I tried "Death and Taxes" - bourbon, lemon, peach syrup, and Fernet Branca. It was well-balanced with just the right amount of fernet. We also tried the "New Old-Fashioned" - an OF riff using anejo tequila, vanilla bitters, chocolate bitters - and a couple of Luxardo cherries. It was excellent! Vic and Anthony's has a nice menu of 2 oz. whiskey pours at fair prices. I opted for Baker's over a large rock. In the food department, we enjoyed a jumbo shrimp cocktail. Four big, meaty, and well-chilled shrimp with sides of spicy cocktail sauce and a balsamic concoction. Our server was bartender Lindsay. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was lovely, and the hostesses were great. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Edward, who gave us some time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted to drink. About five minutes later, he came back for our drink order, and approximately 10 minutes after that, he took our dinner order. None of us ordered appetizers, but our dinner still took over an hour to arrive. We ordered three steaks, two sides, and one crab cake. What made the wait even more frustrating was that the table next to us, which was seated after us, received their dinner before we did. When we asked about the status of our food, we were told that "good food takes time." At that point, we had already been waiting approximately 30 minutes. Rather than an apology or an indication that the food would be out soon, that was the response we received. We waited another 30 minutes before being told that the food would be out shortly. To their credit, it did come out shortly after that. Unfortunately, all three of us ordered our steaks medium rare, and all three came out medium. We considered sending them back, but after watching another table send a steak back and seeing how long it took to come back out, we decided against it. We watched the man at that table sit there while all of his friends ate their steaks, which made us even less inclined to send ours back. We did order dessert, and interestingly, that came out immediately. To the restaurant's credit, the manager took one round of drinks and the dessert off our bill, which we appreciated. However, given that we have been coming here consistently for years, we were very disappointed with this particular meal. We will give Vic & Anthony's another try because of our past experiences, but this visit was not impressive. The service was slow and the preparation of the steaks was not what we ordered. Hopefully, this was just a very off night.

Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! An empty parking lot and only two diners in a large dining area is never a good sign but the server was "friendly" (Fitting for a location that once housed a Friendly's ice cream restaurant.). In fact there is no lunch menu and the prices sort of jump at your eyes because they are so much more appropriate for an evening out. Perhaps the empty dining room fills up with patrons later in the day. So, I went with Pho. Flank steak, vermicelli rice noodles, and please all the veggies (Why ask?). This time, we sat in the bar area and enjoyed both drinks and food. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and always on top of everything without being intrusive. They really helped make the experience enjoyable. As always, the food was amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Nobu has a reputation for great food, and it absolutely lived up to it again. The drinks were excellent as well. If you're into cocktails, definitely try the Old Fashioned it was one of the best I've had. Between the outstanding food, great drinks, attentive service, and upscale atmosphere, it's hard to go wrong here. Whether it's a special occasion or just a date night, Nobu consistently delivers. We'll definitely be back again.

We said we were very adventurous and, not really knowing what to expect, did not specify a budget. In hindsight, that was a mistake. As the meal went on, especially when the lobster course arrived, we realized we were likely in for a very expensive evening. I wish the staff had given us at least an estimated price range or an idea of the final cost before starting the menu, even though we had not provided a budget. It also would have been helpful to know roughly how many courses to expect so we could make a more informed decision. That said, the food was absolutely phenomenal. The lobster special was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten and easily the best lobster I have ever had. Every course was beautifully presented, thoughtfully composed, and full of incredible layers of flavor. The service throughout the meal was impeccable, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly deserving of the restaurant's reputation. Overall, Nobu delivered an unforgettable dining experience with exceptional food and outstanding service. My only criticism is the lack of communication upfront about the expected cost and scope of the omakase. A little more transparency at the beginning would have made the experience perfect.
