Guys, do not believe the negative reviews for Park Place Prime-- this place is underrated! The restaurant is chic, clean and its backdrop is a beautiful view of Atlantic City lights. We were greeted by the hostess with her warm smile and seated right away. You could tell our server Rhyan was happy to serve us and ran down all his favorite things on the menu. From the drinks, appetizers, main courses and desserts, I could not find one thing to complain about. I particularly enjoyed the raspberry/mint pallet cleanser before our main course. Made a reservation on a Friday night 30 minutes before our arrival, which is odd for most high end restaurants in AC. And now we know why. We were seated right away and greeted by one waiter. Then another came over and he tried to show us how we could get our steak cheaper if we purchased it through the specialties menu. We felt a little uncomfortable by this interaction as it made us feel like they thought we couldn't afford what would have been a $6 difference in the end. Before we ordered a third server came over and took our order. She said the other two were going home. So, that was odd. As far as the food. Husband had the crab stack, which sounded good. It came with loads of lumped crab on top, but below the shredded crab kind of tasted like tuna from the can. He asked for some lemon to brighten up the dish a bit as it was a bit bland. I got the scallops and bacon. Although it was good bacon, the flavor from the thick slices overpowered the scallops flavor. Scallops were perfectly cooked, though. For entrees, I got the duck and my husband ordered the filet. The duck was a little overcooked and I expected the skin to be a but more crispy, but it tasted good with the berry compote. The Brussels sprouts were ok, but the roasted potatoes were inedible - hard little overcooked wedges tasted like old fries. Server rectified it with a giant sweet potato, just like you'd get at a Texas Roadhouse, but with no toppings except butter. Nothing to write home about. Went there for happy hour since the prices were really good. We were sat right away. Got a few small bites and everything came out within minutes. I guess everything is just ready and assembled when ordered. I also got a strawberry mule which took 20 mins. I was half way done with the food. It was actually good but when i ordered 1 to go, i have no idea what they gave me. Very inconsistent. I guess it depends on the bartender who made it. Food: the meatballs were tender but lacked a bit flavor after you get past the sauce. The fries were a highlight. They could be crispier but still very good. The shrimp cocktail was decent but not great. The Aranchini was good but a bit too heavy for me. It was very very rich. Overall, great prices and work having a nice happy hour with a lot of options. So our first day in Atlantic City and my husband saw the happy hour for cheeper price. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. It is fancier than any place we would go to. So we got our food quickly. Truffle fries with cheese and they had two sauces ketchup and an delicious garlic aioli. The shrimp cocktail I wish more shrimp. With the shrimp it came with cocktail and another sauce I could have eaten more. The deviled eggs missing something it didn't taste right. Rich loved the sliders, the fries too, the bacon, and taco. read more

Park Placd Prime is a solid option for dinner in my book. My family dined here and enjoyed ourselves. The venue is new, trendy, and classy. I personally enjoyed the large deep blue upholstered booths, the dazzling chandeliers and attentive customer service. To start we got the warm bread basket. The Ceasar salad was very large and good for sharing. The salmon dish came with Italian pasta which qas very delightful. While the chicken came with asparagus and was very tender not dry. The side dishes of Mushroom and spinach complemented the meal very well. The experience we had makes Park Place Prime a new addition to our hit list. read more

WOOW, the New restaurant in Bally's Casino Atlantic Cty, Went here on August 30, 2024. The food was pretty good. I had Calamari, my sister had Oysters and her friend had Shrimp Ceviche. Please DO NOT believe these negative reviews! Ive been here twice and both times it has been top notch. I'd say it's in the top 3 steakhouses in Atlantic City. The bartenders make incredible drinks and the wait staff were exceptional. Espresso Martini was perfectly made. Caesar salad had the perfect dressing; not too thick not too watery with just the right amount of kick and a large portion. Highly recommend the Filet Au poivre. Again this place is a must try. Felt compelled to write a review after surprisingly seeing so many negative ones. My husband and I went for happy hour at the bar and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the wagu sliders, truffle fries, oysters, and calamari. All were delicious with our favorites being the sliders and truffle fries. Our party of 12 booked a last minute, same day reservation on a holiday weekend, which in itself was both a miracle and a red flag. The restaurant is located inside Ballys hotel, which could use a renovation, but that's a different review. Park Place Prime is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant, gorgeous bar, chic decor. Our group was promptly seated in a private space which was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter Rhyan came over and got our table started with water and drinks. The wait was a little long for the drinks, but they all came at the same time, which was nice. Next up, apps...shrimp cocktail was good, shrimp ceviche great, though 1 person had little to no shrimp compared to the others, oysters, really good. 2.5-3 hours later, our entrees arrived. They took so long that we were served an intermezzo...aka a sorry your food is taking so long but hopefully this spoonful of sorbet will distract you. This is where it went downhill. 2 steaks should have been medium, they were medium rare, and not very flavorful, duck- just bad, and served with what looked like cranberry sauce, also one guests food was not prepared and they had to wait an extra 30 minutes! The lobster mac n cheese was soooo soupy, it was like lobster bisque poured over noodles. Very disappointing. The good- the burger had rave reviews (aka, keep it simple folks), chicken and lamb chops were also reportedly good. Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were also a hit. We had the opportunity to speak with the mgr, who made things right, which we appreciated. Our server and all of the staff was amazing... our drinks were also top tier. Underwhelming Happy Hour. The cocktails were poured well and were balanced. The "Lite Bites" were just lousy. Clams on the Half Shell were good, although very tiny Little Neck Clams. We prefer a bit larger. But still decent. Seafood Ceviche was a terrible rendition of a seafood favorite. Almost no seafood, mostly peppers, onions, and some citrus. There was no flavor, and almost NO Seafood. Complete Fail Truffle Fries were the best of the insulting small portions of Lite Bites. Even at the discounted price, NOT one dish ordered was worth the price. Deviled Eggs were 4 TINY TINY halves of an egg. No flavor, needed so much more seasoning. Complete fail. Meatballs were tasty, BUT 2 TINY TINY smaller than golf ball size meatballs? Give us a break...offensively small. FAIL Scallops and Bacon...and here again. 2 TINY Scallops inundated with an Elmer's glue-like sauce, plus too many ingredients. Complete Fail. Service was ok...sometimes kind of MIA, sometimes felt hurried. We won't ever try this restaurant. This is not how you promote a "Fine Dining Establishment." Also, to mention, the whole building, including the Casino,o was ghost-like empty. In the middle of the summer and it's a ghost town? Not good, Atlantic City, not good. In Vegas, this building would have been torn down 25 years ago and built new. But in Atlantic City, all these casino owners ever do is drain the properties of cash and never reinvest. Honestly kind of stunned to be having to write this one, as this was truly one of the worst "fine dining" experiences I have had. When a steakhouse can't cook a steak correctly, that's issue #1. When the manager gets confrontational over the legitimate concerns, issue #2. What was supposed to be a good experience ended up being stressful and unpleasant. There are better steakhouse experiences in AC, and this one should be avoided at all costs. Staff need retraining, food needs significant improvement. read more

$200 Disappointment! The place is beautiful but that's where it ended. Hubby and I went Saturday to celebrate our anniversary- what a waste. I ordered the margarita- it was very unbalanced and needed more agave. Had the shrimp cocktail appetizer- flavor and texture were good, but they should be using shrimp the next size up for this price point, size was what you get at Red Lobster for 1/2 the price and double the shrimp. Menu section of steaks and chops was devoid of any chops. There's a lamb chop on the menu and it's in a different section, made no sense. I had the ribeye- hubby had the filet- both were severely under seasoned. Side of mashed should be on the menu as wallpaper paste, they were so gummy, even my husband who doesn't cook knew they were wrong when they hit the table. No mention of our special date, but maybe they don't bother with that won't be back. read more
