    Shrimp scampi
    Natalie V.

I came here with a colleague to celebrate a great week. Upon entrance there is a sign that lists the dress code which is business casual so no tank tops flip flops etc. However this dress code is not followed. Many of the customers looked like they just came from the beach. If you're looking for a fancy/upscale dining experience this might not be it. I had the shrimp scampi and it tasted pretty good! I really enjoyed the shrimp, they were the perfect size and paired well with the pasta. If I went back I would order this dish again. For the quality I do think it's a bit overpriced. On the plus side they sat us at our table right away even though we arrived for our reservation early.

We went for happy hour. Omg. Amazing. The service was impeccable. The food for way cheaper amazing. We got so many appetizers that were amazing.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and had the best experience! The staff is incredibly attentive and nice. We were always checked up on and taken care of. The food was also amazing!! Definitely at the top of my steakhouse list. Truffle parm fries: so good, you must get! Sautéed spinach & mushrooms: I was PLEASANTLY surprised by this dish, the spinach is tender and delicious. The mushrooms soak up the sauce and just make a perfect pair to your steak Both my boyfriend and I got steak and the cook on it was perfect! The seasoning was great, meat was tender and juicy -- couldn't ask for more.

We came to Morton's steakhouse and had a wonderful meal. The service was great- they were very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and the restaurant felt very comfortable. We had the shrimp cocktail, iceberg wedge which they were kind enough to split for us to share, chicken Christopher, filet mignon, lobster Mac and cheese and the asparagus. We also had crème brûlée and espresso (not pictured) that were delicious too! Every single thing we ordered was amazing

    Bone in Ribeye

Service was great, restaurant was not crowded at all, but it was Tuesday night. The bone in ribeye with garlic butter was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Will definitely be back!

Drinks were tasty... couldn't take pics of the food because we were busy devouring it

Scrumptious! The place is perfect for a date or a sit down. The low lighting gives it that vibe. Everything you order is straight quality NYC style! Lobster bisque was extra creamy (not my cup of tea) pretty big side portions too! Enjoy!

We made reservations for dinner since I was craving a good steak. Our waiter Victor was very nice. I ordered the prime rib and my husband had the filet mignon. We shared the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! They cooked our steaks exactly how we like them- rare. The mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I ever had. It was so creamy. We didn't have room for dessert. I would definitely come back. The place is pricey, but it's money well spent.

Best steak in Atlantic City. Went on 3/26 for my girlfriends birthday and everything was awesome from the time we walked in. Steak was amazing wish I got a picture, we told them we were celebrating a birthday in which they gave us a dessert on the house. Steak was perfectly cooked and well worth the money. Wish I got a picture of it but only grabbed the picture of whiskey flights which were also amazing.

Top notch food! Steak was perfect. My wife had the lobster, she loved it. Check for 2 people was $240 (without drinks) but food was amazing.

Our rideshare pulled up in front of the place, which was on the main thoroughfare of Atlantic Avenue, though I would not say that it seemed like the safest area. Thankfully, the place offered valet parking to those who needed it. As we entered the historical building, I had expected to see a similarly quaint interior, but it had clearly been renovated. It was more like a modern inn, balancing accent walls of exposed brick with contemporary light fixtures. The bar was completely packed with diners and imbibers, and there was an elegant pianist curating a live playlist for everyone. We were escorted to our table on the other side of main floor, where we were served by the fantastic, Taz, who was friendly, engaging, and helpful. Before we placed our orders, we were given large, sesame semolina rolls, which had a crisp crust and fluffy interior. Each table was also adorned with a giant bowl of homemade oyster crackers, which were a touch dry and benefitted from a small spoonful of chopped horseradish, which was displayed next to the crackers. I enjoyed these treats with a Mijente Tequila with Club Soda for a reasonable $12. From there, we progressed right to our entrees. I decided to go with the nightly special of Macadamia-Crusted Halibut, which was perfectly tender and had a hint of sweetness on its own. It was then topped with a chunky mango salsa and a creamy pineapple-mango sauce to kick that sweetness up a notch. However, that was also offset by its plating with more earthy sides of sauteed spinach and well-seasoned rice pilaf. The dish was fantastic and should really be on the menu all of the time. My companion went with the 12-ounce Filet Mignon, which was presented without that crust most of us enjoy, but the meat itself was like butter; it was tender, juicy, and clearly of excellent quality. The steak was a generous size to begin with, but it also came with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, a few onion rings, and some stalks of asparagus. It was a phenomenal deal for $52, and my partner could not stop raving about how great it all tasted. Lastly, we simply had to give their dessert options our consideration and went with the Bailey's Chocolate Mousse. While the texture was nice, and there was a thin layer of chocolate cake underneath the whipped mousse, it tasted more like standard milk chocolate than the Irish Cream liqueur. It was rather mild, but barely worth acknowledging it as a flaw after what was otherwise such a fabulous experience. Our dinner at Dock's Oyster House was so delicious, that we started planning our next meal there before we even paid the check! I would definitely recommend giving the place a shot.

When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was lovely, and the hostesses were great. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Edward, who gave us some time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted to drink. About five minutes later, he came back for our drink order, and approximately 10 minutes after that, he took our dinner order. None of us ordered appetizers, but our dinner still took over an hour to arrive. We ordered three steaks, two sides, and one crab cake. What made the wait even more frustrating was that the table next to us, which was seated after us, received their dinner before we did. When we asked about the status of our food, we were told that "good food takes time." At that point, we had already been waiting approximately 30 minutes. Rather than an apology or an indication that the food would be out soon, that was the response we received. We waited another 30 minutes before being told that the food would be out shortly. To their credit, it did come out shortly after that. Unfortunately, all three of us ordered our steaks medium rare, and all three came out medium. We considered sending them back, but after watching another table send a steak back and seeing how long it took to come back out, we decided against it. We watched the man at that table sit there while all of his friends ate their steaks, which made us even less inclined to send ours back. We did order dessert, and interestingly, that came out immediately. To the restaurant's credit, the manager took one round of drinks and the dessert off our bill, which we appreciated. However, given that we have been coming here consistently for years, we were very disappointed with this particular meal. We will give Vic & Anthony's another try because of our past experiences, but this visit was not impressive. The service was slow and the preparation of the steaks was not what we ordered. Hopefully, this was just a very off night.

We sat at the bar, which had a dark and moody ambience, and was quite busy on this Saturday evening. The cocktail menu was very interesting, and included whiskey cocktails made using Rabbit Hole bourbon. I tried "Death and Taxes" - bourbon, lemon, peach syrup, and Fernet Branca. It was well-balanced with just the right amount of fernet. We also tried the "New Old-Fashioned" - an OF riff using anejo tequila, vanilla bitters, chocolate bitters - and a couple of Luxardo cherries. It was excellent! Vic and Anthony's has a nice menu of 2 oz. whiskey pours at fair prices. I opted for Baker's over a large rock. In the food department, we enjoyed a jumbo shrimp cocktail. Four big, meaty, and well-chilled shrimp with sides of spicy cocktail sauce and a balsamic concoction. Our server was bartender Lindsay. She was friendly, kind, efficient - and importantly, mixed delicious drinks. Thanks Lindsay! We look forward to returning for a proper steak dinner.

I recognize menus change, but I'm guessing the chef changed as well. So many items are called the same name as they were on the previous menu yet they are not same, like a shadow of its predecessor. I will say the cowboy steak was amazingly prepared and delicious. If I was reviewing that alone it'd be a 5 star review. Our waitress was nice but I definitely got the feeling of disappointment when we didn't order appetizers, we prefer to order extra sides and drinks which more than make up that in the end. Just some people don't and it sucks to feel like you're not a table worth waiting on. The saddest experience was the dessert. The sticky toffee dessert was my favorite thing in the world. It was fabulous. It's still on the menu, but it is not the same dessert by any stretch of the imagination. It now tastes like someone cut the bran muffin in half and poured some sugary sweetness on it and then served it with clotted cream that was not tasty. It used to be a tiny dessert that came with ice cream. It was so rich and was beyond delicious. It is actually a challenging dessert to make, so I'm guessing they've changed to this new version to save time but honestly they should just take it off the menu if you're not going to do it properly. If that plate was served on Top Chef and they would've crucified the chef as it looked and tasted horrible. I'm sure we will go again in the future but I left with a tinge of sadness that they changed a historic restaurant so much.

We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. I opted for the banana cream pie, as this is another item I rarely see on a menu and when I do, it's rarely done right, but not here... they did it perfectly! Overall, amazing meal... Highly recommend stopping in, but make reservations first!

Their summer tomato appetizer is probably the most popular of all. There are so many positive reviews that back me up about all that is great about the place, I thought that I might make a few suggestions for areas that could use improvement. First involves parking. They have very little and are using almost half of the space for outside services I don't quite understand. This means dropping off your party and hunting the neighborhood for a place to park. This leads to the second negative. The receptionist is a bit unforgiving if your ENTIRE party is not physically in the house. So if you are out foraging for a place to park you are out of luck. Next there is the bread service. Despite the fact that they are connected with a bakery there is an up charge for bread. This is a small thing, but really unnecessary as prices for the main part of the meal certainly compensate for a few slices of bread. Finally there is the reservation process. It seems like tables are held and not available for the general public. If you use the "notify" feature in RESY, there is a chance that one of these reserved tables will be released. This is annoying at best. All that said this is probably the best restaurant in the area.

An empty parking lot and only two diners in a large dining area is never a good sign but the server was "friendly" (Fitting for a location that once housed a Friendly's ice cream restaurant.). There were no signs of the former occupant and the dining area is very appealing with a sense of being upscale, which conflicted with my hopes of a reasonably priced lunch menu. In fact there is no lunch menu and the prices sort of jump at your eyes because they are so much more appropriate for an evening out. Perhaps the empty dining room fills up with patrons later in the day. So, I went with Pho. Flank steak, vermicelli rice noodles, and please all the veggies (Why ask?). My very sufficient bowl arrived quickly with the side plate of Thai basil, lime, and bean sprouts. I went looking for the bottles of hoisin and sriccha but my server pointed to the small white bowl with red and brown colors ... ahh no bottles, which at first I was disappointed in not having them accessible to me but this is upscale dining and those table bottled always have a sense of community to them. I asked for more sriccha and it was delivered. The beef pho base was good the flank steak arrived cooked rather than rare and my lunch satisfied me except I was hoping for something more or different and closer to street food because it was lunch time Heck the server on a sunny day was friendly and you can't go wrong with that
