I've stayed at Tropicana a bunch but ths was my first time eating here. It's only open on weekends during the off season. The view is definitely something to take advantage here. Overlooks the beach and ocean. It's off the beaten path so you have to take the elevators to Chelsea's tower and walk over from there. Unless you're staying at Chelsea Tower. Then you just have to take the elevator down. Theres also a bar and I believe you can have food at the bar as well. Decent sized seating area and when the weather permits, there's also outdoor seating. The service was good but I was a little underwhelmed with the prime rib. That happened to be the special that night so not sure if that was a coincidence that it wasn't that good. I also had the lobster bisque which was ok as well. I'm going to try to come back next time i am able but I was a little disappointed first time around.

Chelsea Five is a gastropub located in the Chelsea tower of the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. It's quite the journey from the main parking area so be prepared to walk far. The ambiance is great for a date night or small group with beautiful ocean views! Definitely make a reservation because every table was booked on Sunday night when I visited for Restaurant Week. I looked at so many menu offerings for the 3 course special, & have had my eye on the pork chop for some time. This dish was highly recommended by the waitress which was another great sign, so after starting with the tasty Lobster Bisque, I got the Double Cut Porkchop! It is spice rubbed with bourbon & brown sugar apples on top & served with a red wine reduction. The chop itself was cooked to a perfect medium as I requested & so juicy & tender. It's the most flavorful Porkchop I've had in ages! We ended the meal with a Chocolate Jubilation cake that was very delicious & decadent. For $40.24 per person, this was a great deal since the regular price of the Porkchop is $39.99 so we essentially got the starter & dessert for free! The entree is also the regular size & not a smaller offering like at other restaurants. Sides & drinks were extra. We got the mashed potatoes, green beans & an espresso martini & everything was awesome. Our food & server were on point & I'll definitely be back!

we came on a Sunday and sat at the bar first to take advantage of the happy hour drinks and food. It was definitely worth doing that. The bar is relatively small, but there were seats. If you come on a Sunday, definitely expect the early bird special. The service was very good. Also, keep in mind that this restaurant location is a pretty far walk from the main casino areas because it's in the Chelsea Tower. The restaurant also faces the water was plenty ocean view seating if you come early enough before sunset.

This place is fantastic and truly an upper scale shore vibe. We came for an early dinner when they opened at 5p on a Friday and it wasn't busy. The server Bob was absolutely the best and he was so quick and helpful on every turn that he made our experience even better. Everything we ordered was delicious; Clams Casino, Sliders w Chips, Stuffed Shrimp and saving the best for last.... CAPE MAY CHOWDER Yes it's summer and who eats soup in the summer but OMG I NEED MORE. Just get it, it won't disappoint.

Went back to this place just for the pork chop 3x! And I'm not local, so whenever I come for a small vacay to NJ this is definitely one of the top spots to hit! Service is great, and food is even better, ambiance is clean and refreshing. Love this place and will always have a spot in my top 10's.

The food was incredible, a must visit on your vacation in Atlantic City. Located inside the Tropicana hotel/casino. Servers are top notch, excellent experience all around. Will be visiting often when i'm in town.

Every time I come to AC, I have to hit up Chelsea 5. I cannot stress how great of a hidden gem this restaurant is. Its vibe is lounge like. The passion fruit martini was a hit, and my food is always so good. The waiter was kind and the service is always top tier!!

We found this restaurant while searching online for someplace nice to eat near Tropicana. We made a reservation and headed there early on Friday night. We had a very hard time finding it. We ended up asking a security guard who pointed us in the right direction. It's on the 4th(?) floor of the south tower in the Chelsea hotel at Tropicana. I'm very glad we found it because we almost gave up, and that would've been a shame!! Every server in the place, no matter their function, is amazing! The first server that came to our table welcomed us and asked if we would like water. We had another come over to tell us specials and take drink orders. (By the way, the drinks were delicious!) Yet another server brought us fresh bread, and someone else took our dinner order. Everyone was pleasant and all working together for us. We started with the mozzarella cheese curds. It's very similar to fried mozz but so much better!! Such fresh mozzarella!! My husband then ordered the seafood Alfredo. He ate every bite. He had to take a break, as he was getting full, but it was so good he had to finish the last few shrimp in his dish! I got the bourbon and brown sugar meatloaf. It just sounded good. It came out as a little, personal sized meatloaf coated in the Bourbon and brownsugar. It was very tasty, but a tad too sweet for my taste. The meat loaf itself was really good. The mashed potatoes were delicious! The asparagus was a bit under cooked, but the cheddar jalapeño corn bread was awesome. Our view was pretty, overlooking the beach, but also, unfortunately, part of the roof. Well, nothing is perfect! Just as we were finishing up, I went to finish my bellini to find a bug in it. I was finished anyway, but my husband insisted on mentioning it to the server. He offered me a new drink, which I declined, as I was just too full. He apologized and took the drink. A short time later, a manager approached us to apologize. He removed both drinks off our bill. We didn't expect it, but it was appreciated! We will definitely eat here when we visit again. We don't ever stay on this end of the boardwalk, but this restaurant is worth the walk or short drive over to Tropicana!

The meals and service here were on point! We made a reservation having not been to this restaurant previously and having no frame of reference for its popularity. We were seated quickly, and then greeted by a member who poured our water and then informed us as to the name of our waiter and stated that she'd be with us shortly. Fresh warm bread and whipped butter were brought for us as we reviewed menu selections. There was a large group in the dining area, but the ambiance & general chatter still allowed us to converse without difficulty. As for beverages, my fiancé ordered a beer and I had a Puebla Margarita made with Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur that had a delicious flavor! Onto our appetizer & entrees. My fiancé and I both love French Onion soup and ordered a bowl to share. We both agreed it may have been the best tasting French Onion soup we'd ever had! She ordered the Flounder Francaise and I had the Chicken Primavera. Both dishes were outstandingly prepared! We definitely recommend this restaurant! It was a great pick before heading off to hear Earth, Wind & Fire perform at The Hard Rock Cafe!

Last minute reservation for a Saturday night resulted in an unexpectedly very good meal. We didn't get the primo table by the window but the back row still allowed a beautiful view of the ocean. Fantastic service. Complimentary bread was warm and delicious. My steak was done exactly as requested and well worth the price. Definition Will recommend to others and plan to return when in the area.

Located inside Tropicana hotel, Best French onion soup ever! But the bread! Wow. Served hot. I overdid on the bread n was full by the time the entree came. Great friendly service, accommodating to kids, didn't rush us out even though it was a busy night. Reservation recommended. I'm still craving the French onion soup!

They also have a great $25 dinner special on the weekends, however we weren't looking to eat that heavy. But the live music on weekends at 7pm brought me in without the specials. We started with a down East blackberry cider $8, and a wanderback Hugo pilsner $7. We took our time sipping slowly while the band's set up and began to play. I think our server was more eager for us to make a food order than we were to eat yet. But when we finally did order, we chose a Tennessee Avenue tycoon salad and the "Phish" grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. The salad was fresh but ordinary, with grilled chicken, blue cheese, egg and bacon. Spouse opted for some sort of orange dressing instead of the normal avocado dressing, perhaps it was the same one I loved on the fish tacos, a chipotle aoli. The Phish tacos were on soft corn tortillas that needed more time on the flat grill with a little oil to crisp them up! The fish was nice and white with good sized pieces in each taco. The cabbage slaw inside was wet, mashed avocado and so was the aoli, so a little gloppy but good even if it fell apart. These tacos are normally served with a side of chips, so I asked what options I had besides potato. Our server happily volunteered a grilled vegetable side which I loved until I found out it was an $8 upcharge of which he didn't inform me when ordering. That's an extreme amount, for not advising the customer prior. We stayed for a second round, I had another blackberry cider because it was delicious. Spouse switched to the Blue Horizon Kolsch, but apparently it was high test because it was $10. It was a lovely evening but, room for improvement. The band was fantastic, played all our favorites and we stayed a lot longer as a result of the great weather and the lovely picnic tables in the "garden". The beer hall has done a great job making this a fun hangout!

I stopped in for dinner around 6:15 PM and, as always, the atmosphere was welcoming. There's indoor seating, a full bar, and a fantastic outdoor space complete with games, a fire pit, and one of the best music playlists in town--often accompanied by live entertainment. It's the kind of place where locals and visitors naturally mix together, creating a fun and friendly energy. One thing that always makes me smile is the sign when you walk in explaining that the bartenders and servers may be outside and asking guests to let them know they've arrived. Honestly, who could blame them? With the fresh salt air coming off the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor atmosphere they've created, it's exactly where I'd want to be too. Tonight I ordered the crab cake platter, served with garlic French fries and coleslaw. The crab cakes were very good, packed with flavor, and the fries were crispy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. A simple meal done right. Everything was fresh and appealing, I eat small portions so I took one crab cake and some fries home with me. I did ask about dessert, nothing was available, I don't do sweets frequently, I'm surprised they don't request Momma Chocolate, at Bar32 to make some extras for days they are closed. My server, Bella, was upbeat, bubbly, and attentive throughout the evening, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Parking is easy, with both free and paid options nearby, plus curbside access. Whether you're a local looking for a regular hangout or a visitor exploring beyond the casinos, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is well worth the short walk from the Boardwalk. Highly recommended for good food, cold drinks, great music, and some of the best local vibes in Atlantic City.

2-Star Review -- Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Caesars Atlantic City…read more August 23, 2026 at 5 pm I really wanted to like Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, especially given the reputation of the chef and the prices you expect at a restaurant like this. Unfortunately, our experience was a big disappointment. The seating was the first problem. We were initially offered seats on a railing directly next to a very busy walkway. It felt more like sitting in a mall food court than dining at a restaurant associated with a famous chef. We were eventually moved to a bench-style seat that was so low that we had to sit in separate chairs next to each other just to be comfortable. It made it difficult to even talk to or see each other. The food didn't improve things. Potato Leek Soup: Served lukewarm, with very little flavor and a consistency more like a flour-based paste than soup. The bacon pieces were actually the best part. French Onion Soup: There was more cheese stuck to the outside of the bowl than actually in the soup. The broth tasted more like bouillon than a rich beef stock. Burger: Also arrived lukewarm, which was especially surprising since I ordered it well done. The meat itself was good, but the pickles were easily the highlight--they were excellent. The burger came with one small piece of lettuce. Fish & Chips: This was the best dish of the meal. The fish was good, although there was quite a bit of excess breading on the ends. There were also gnats flying around the dining area, which certainly didn't help the experience. Another odd thing for a restaurant of this caliber is that there are no restrooms inside the restaurant. You have to leave the restaurant and go out into the busy hallway to find one. Again, it contributed to the feeling that we were dining in a food-court environment rather than a destination restaurant. The service was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was memorable either. When our food arrived, our server asked if everything "looked" alright, but never returned to actually ask how the food was. For a restaurant carrying the Gordon Ramsay name, I expected much more attention to detail and hospitality. Overall, I honestly felt the service was comparable to what I'd expect at a local pizza shop or an airport restaurant in Concourse C--not what I expected from a famous chef's restaurant. Two stars. The fish and chips and those pickles were good, but that's not enough to overcome the seating, lukewarm food, lack of flavor, gnats, mediocre service and overall atmosphere. For a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I expected an experience worth remembering. Unfortunately, this is one I'll remember for the wrong reasons.

We opted for a booth next to the window which was nice, seeing the boardwalk from my seat. Our waitress was so kind and so nice. I don't remember her name but she was such a delight. The wait time for our food to arrive was way too long. We waited for more than 45 minutes. It seemed like everyone was waiting for their food as well. The waitress seemed frazzled while the customers looked at her. When we got our food, the portions were huge and we were able to take some with us. The food was really good and it was worth the wait. I was also a little disappointed the restaurant is named 'Hash House' but there are no hashbrowns but they did have potato wedges that were tasty! Overall, really good food and cool interior. Would recommend.

The place is spacious and comfortable, although we did have a few unexpected guests mosquitoes and flies flying around lol. The food was really good! I had the steak and eggs, and my niece ordered the BLT, which was HUMONGOUS and somehow she finished the whole thing! The portions here are no joke. Definitely come hungry or plan to share!

I've always stayed in the Havana tower which was always a pleasant stay and the rooms were lovely. However the Chelsea tower needs a major update. The Trop kind of hyped it up when they acquired it. When you enter the lobby area it's modern and bright. Oh but get on the elevator to take you to the rooms it's a completely different story. The hallways are dark and the furniture in the rooms is obviously old and showing wear and tear. I gave two stars only because I didn't see any bugs and it wasn't dirty just obviously worn. If you're going to the Trop skip the Chelsea tower and go for the Havana.

The bathroom door didn't lock, in fact it was an office door on the bathroom, that required a key to be locked. The door to the room did not have a security lock, instead it had a chain for a regular door. The shower also had the knobs mixed up and didn't provide much pressure. But it was clean and pretty. The wall paper in the halls gave 80s vibes, pop corn ceiling in the room. I could hear the guest in the next room talking and I could hear every time they flushed their toilet. I must also add that the bed was very, very comfortable.
