Well my first comment would be OMG. Really. You should have seen my couches before Branston worked his magic on them. I was embarrassed by the horrible stains from kids, pets and who knows what. I tried febreeze. I tried spot remover. I even tried shouting them out but all with no avail. I was hesitant about calling a carpet cleaner for my expensive but totally ruined couches but Branston reassured me that I would be more than happy with the results. Boy was that an understatement! He seriously worked some magic, brought out colors i had thought were permanently brown. Oh and forget about febreeze, whatever potion he used made me want to clean the whole house with it. Lastly, I must mention that I was concerned with the couches getting too wet but Branston was on top of this too. Just about all the water was sucked out and then finished with his fans that worked great. I highly recommend this company for all your upholstery cleaning. You won't be disappointed! read more

We called to book an appointment for carpet and couch cleaning. Branston the owner was nice enough to squeeze my mom in at the last minute. The two guys showed up at our house were very well mannered, energetic and knowledgable which was a plus for me:). They took the time inspecting my most soiled areas of concern when they arrived and educated me on how to maintain my very old/worn out WHITE carpet. Our expensive sofa was really dirty and a bit smelly. My kids spilled fruit drinks, milk, dog drool, and pen/marker stains from my kids. I almost threw it away before I found out it could be steam cleaned. They were able to remove the bad dog odor from both the carpet and couch...THANK GOD. This company is everything and some! Just call Branston. Seriously. You won't be disappointed. Normally I would be inclined to call a "big" name company, but the two major ones got such horrid reviews that I decided to look elsewhere. When I saw that Ocean West Carpet Care got five stars I figured I would support a local business. Branston got back to me immediately and he had time to work us in the next day. Our carpets had that old dog smell that my Bissel just couldn't get out. Branston and Mark moved furniture and they were respectful of the house. Branston also got out some seriously dirty spots and smells. Plus they were both so darn nice that we didn't feel like we were being judged on our house cleaning abilities! Thanks Ocean West. My world is a happier place since you cleaned my carpet. My dog got sick last week from something she ate and I came home to at least twelve areas of evidence of digestive distress. She seemed fine, but I worked on the spots for a couple of hours. I thought she was over it, but I was wrong and I had more to cleanup the next day. By Saturday she hadn't thrown up in two days, but now the temperature was getting up into the 90s and I could smell that I hadn't been able to clean well enough. I called Saturday morning and was able to schedule the cleaning for Sunday afternoon - perfect time for me. Branson is very professional, soft-spoken, confident, good with my dog, and very effective. Branston and his Partner, were super nice and called me to let me know they were going to be a couple minutes late. They took great care to protect my walls and other house belongings and were very interested to know about my carpets and the problem areas. My carpets were only a 1.5 yrs old but we have a 16 month old puppy who had several accidents in two particular areas while he was being trained. We wanted to get all of our carpets cleaned after we were confident the puppy was trained. The guys did a great job! They were also always happy and willing to talk about personal things in their lives as well as explain the process of their cleaning. They cleaned my carpets last Friday but I still had a slight scent when I put my nose near the carpet floor where the puppy had a majority of his accidents. Branston was happy to come out again today (Tuesday) no charge and performed a special deep suction cleaning to actually clean the padding under the carpet. My carpets were in great condition and did not need a deep cleaning over the whole area but was very happy that Branston took great pride in his work and service and wanted to make sure there was no trace of dog urine left in the carpet matt. The carpet in all areas looks great and smells great. I found this company through Thumbtack. Branston, business owner, contacted me offering to clean my carpets as i'd requested via Thumbtack's referral system. He can very thoroughly explain the cleaning process Ocean West uses both for carpet and couch-cleaning. They did a great job with my carpet, including pet stains in two rooms. He came back a few days later and cleaned my couches and windows. I've had the couches for over 10 years and the primary concern was that cat hair was deeply ingrained among the textured fabric (which took too much time to clean on my own). He did a wonderful job!
