I went with my friends to rent some jet skis first mistake the girl in the front said we needed to take a test for who ever is gonna drive she rushed us and just gave us the answers. fast forward to when we were on the jet ski a boat came and hit us causing us to fly off the jet ski and I got hurt. The tour guide was no where to be found and when he finally came to help us after 10 minutes of the accident he was on the phone the entire time I needed help. When we got back to the doc the owner of the company came up to me and the group i was in screaming at us that it was our fault didn't ask if i was ok or if i was in any critical condition. On a whim my dad and I decided to try parasailing during our short trip down to OCMD. We found Inlet Sea Doos and were sold not only by the stellar reviews, but by the ability to book online. We booked at 1pm on a Monday for a Tuesday 9:30am slot. Not too shabby! Arriving the suggested 30 minutes early, we were promptly greeted and checked in. We were asked if we wanted the photo package and felt absolutely no pressure to purchase. Ultimately, we decided to pay the ~$30 for the package because we didn't want to hassle with taking pictures and wanted to stay in the moment. Everything went incredibly smooth. These folks really know what they are doing! We were given life vests and told exactly how the process would work once we were in the boat. We had about 10 people in our group which turned out to be a great size. Mike and Dillon were our guides and did an exceptional job. They were friendly, personable and took safety seriously. I am usually afraid of heights but I was completely at ease through the whole process. Once we were in the air, it was so quiet and peaceful, not at all what I was expecting! The pictures turned out amazing, highly recommend if you're looking for a unique souvenir. The flight itself, without the photo package, was $138 for both of us (check online for coupons, we saved $40). Completely worth it! The whole experience took about an hour. It was an incredible way to start the day! I could see it getting a little more uncomfortable later in the day with the baking sun, so keep that in mind. Overall, this was a great spur of the moment addition to our trip. The professionalism, friendliness and promptness of the staff at Inlet Sea Doos made pushed this over into an exceptional experience. Went and did the parasailing and jet ski combo after some confusion at another place. I got to go up 800 feet and bring my 4 year old son with me. This after showing up late and they actually stopped a boat about to leave with extra space and sent us up. Our captain Richie and first mate Dylan were awesome. They said it was their first day, but they knew why they were soon and made more wife not freak out too much (note she stayed on the boat and only my And and I went up). When we got back down my son and I went on a Jet Ski. It seemed like the Tuesday morning was a slow time. We went out by ourselves with a guide Lorenzo. He was pretty cool and pointed out the horses on an island. My son wasn't too impressed, but I found it interesting. I would definitely go back there as the experience was pretty good. From the person who helped me schedule my reservation to the staff at the counter when we checked and our boat captain and his deck helper it was an great experience. We have parasailed before in Hawaii but my sons fiancé and her 6 yr old have never done it. So when they came to visit from Utah last week we took them out on the boat to get the parasailing experience. The whole process went smoothly and safely. They made sure everyone was educated on the harnesses and how to go up and come back in from the sailing. I was impressed with how at ease they put a 29 lb 6 yr old that has never been on a boat much less up in the air. that was worth it right there. From the staff through the whole entire experience. Equipment, riding perimeters, it was a blast. The day was not going as planned for my family and I. We first went to Paradise Sports where my husband and I had our first jet ski and parasailing adventure the last time we were in OC. Our intentions were to take my parents back to the same place, however they were all booked up. I can't say that our first experience was that great, but for the combo we got it wasn't bad. HOWEVER, I'm so happy that we couldn't get 4 people booked for Paradise Sports, it led us to Inlet Sea Doos! The daughter of the owner answered the phone told us to get our butts down there so we can catch the next scheduled ride so as we drove down there as fast as we could. One thing lead to another and we had to push our time back due to a mishap on our end, but the staff was so accommodating that they got us in the next ride and parasail time. This was my parents first time and they loved it! The staff/guides were super friendly, and we also got a picture and go pro package for $50 and that was for 4 people! You legit cannot beat that!!! Bonus side is they took pictures during the jetski experience as well and we were able to get a print. If you write a review for them they also send you your other copy of the picture, which who wouldn't want too?!?!? I will be going back to the inlet my next time around for our combo package again! Our experience was amazing!!! We did the jet ski and parasailing combo. I made reservations over the phone when we arrived we had to take a test prior to operating the jet skis. No biggy!! The staff were great with the exception of one rude jet ski instructor who yelled at us for going too slow when we started off as it was our very first time jet skiing. The other instructors, boat captains and reservations team made up for it and prevented me from taking a star away. The jet ski hour was just enough time. We had so much fun!!! The parasailing crew was funny and friendly. The music on the boat was on point!! You have the option to "GoPro" and/or have pictures taken. We just got the pictures. We had a nice experience with Inlet Sea Doos. Prices are a little high, but if you consider getting one of the combos with parasailing you'll be actually getting a better deal than if you were to do jet skiing only or parasailing only. In this instance my group opted to only jet ski. There are 3 people who instruct you on how to go out on the jet skis. They are also the same people who will lead you out on them in formation, and lead you back to where we came from. When you first go out on the jet ski, the instructors lead you out in a formation line to head out to the bay side where you can jet ski freely without instruction. You're only out there by yourself for about 20 minutes, which was the down side of the experience. Otherwise the other time they are counting in your hour is the time it takes to get out there and the time you get back. They're very strict on the time limit you spend out there by yourself. I feel if you're going to pay $70 to go out on a jet ski for an hour, then you should have more time free to ride freely without being told on where to go and not go. I understand regulations and having to get to a certain point on where you can ride freely without being in wading/idling zones, but at minimum give us 30/40 minutes riding time freely without counting time to get out there as part of the hour you're riding. Otherwise above all else, customer service was good and the instructors were mindful of the customers and making sure they were altogether abiding by the regulations. PS You have to take a one time licensing examination to ride the jet skis. If you fail more than one of the answers; you'll be unable to drive the jet ski. You must be 16 or older to control the jet ski per Maryland law. read more

I can't believe no one has reviewed this business yet, You see their boats going up and down the beach (well, not up and down the beach. In the water. But you can see them from the beach.) all day. My family and I chose Inlet Seadoo to go parasailing because they were easy to get to and had the best pricing. I can't say enough about them. The two guys who took our group out were really friendly and professional. They gave everyone the attention they deserved and went out of their way to make sure we had a great trip. 4 of us arrived at this place 40 mins before our reservation time. We were greeting with a snarl and were rudely rushed to fill out all the paperwork and take the safety test. During that time we were screamed at for not filling it out fast enough. Also, unbeknownst to us the hour ride time actually started beach side when the instructor was explaining the mechanics of the Jet ski. We only got 20 mins of riding time in the open area, which to me seemed like false advertisement. I would recommend going to the ither water sport establishments for a better experience. read more

Before I headed to Inlet Sea Doos, I called ahead to get pricing. The girl on the phone was extremely helpful and as busy as this place is, she was not in a rush to get off the phone. Very friendly and professional. My two cousins and I purchased the 1-hour jetski and 800-foot parasailing package. Add $30 for pictures and our total was about $260. Not bad for three people. Also, Bruce and Helmet, our boat crew for parasailing, were extremely friendly and personable. Tips: -Be sure to bring extra cash to tip the jetski crew and the parasail crew! -If you forget to leave valuables at home/hotel, don't worry, they will secure it for you in their office. -You can bring your items with you on the boat for parasailing as they have storage as well. Overall, ALL of the employees at Inlet Sea Doos are very nice. I'm glad to say that my two cousins and I had an an amazing time! Not Beginner Friendly!!!!!! My fiancé and I came to Oceanside watersports for jet skiing recently. It was my fiancés first time and I had jet skied several times before. The girls checking people in were very friendly. However the jet ski experience itself was a nightmare. We were given no instruction on how to maneuver the ski (again my fiancé has never driven one). They put us all on skis and rushed us out into the bay. We were instructed to all follow each other in a straight line out to where we could ride freely. We decided to stay at the back of the line since my fiancé wasn't experienced in driving a jet ski. As soon as we left the area where we got on the jet skis the two young male instructors basically took off going very fast and everyone else was behind them going fast to keep up. We were left behind right way - like way behind - which was fine (I guess) given we weren't comfortable going 80mph but then the two instructors kept waving at us to go faster and faster. It was almost like they we're trying to embarrass us. My fiancé is a very tall man so we had more weight on our ski than anyone else but they didn't care - still wanted us to be going 80mph. We were terrified because when we would hit a wave we both felt like we were going to fly off. Then...we hit a sand bar. The instructor came back to instruct us how to get out of it and then left us again. We rode for at least 25 minutes - way too long - out to the CHOPPIEST water where we could ride freely. But the water was so choppy it was not fun at all. Basically getting thrown all over the place. By this time I was nearly in tears and wanted to go back. If you're a beginner and not comfortable riding a ski in SUPER choppy water, going VERY fast right away to keep up with your group anddddd being made to feel like you have to go fast - this is not for you! Please Oceanside - help your instructors to be a little kinder and understand how to be more accommodating to peoples comfort levels. Definitely recommend going first thing in the morning where the water isn't as choppy, from previous experience elsewhere, late afternoon boat rides sure are popular for motion sickness. We parasailed at 800 ft, it was a little nerve racking because the people in front of us only went 400ft and that seemed really high. But it was so peaceful up in the air, I don't regret it. It was me & my wife's first time so we brought our GoPro, the instructors said don't exceed 10mph, once we got out there we kept our speed and was insulted by one of the instructors because we didn't reach his speed of 45mph, this place is not for beginners, you are out there on your own its great for more experienced riders. The old fart instructor really told me i shouldn't had brought my GoPro to record our trip as if u have a GoPro you need to be like some hot shot pro, what a douche, even before we got on the jetski he said someone just lost a GoPro out there, maybe he had his period. The younger guy was cool, he even tried to apologize for the way the old fart was behaving and said we can take our time. i even have it on video, maybe ill upload one day. Had AN AWESOME TIME!!! Just went there TODAY so im typing this while it's still fresh. First; the staff was friendly and extremely polite. Young lady at the desk, Morgan I think, was polite and helpful Regarding scheduling/pricing... The Guide (JOSH) took 3 of us out around Assateague Island... He stayed within regulation speed only as long as he had to, but once clear he didn't hesitate to open up that throttle and let us speed to the area near the Assateague Bridge. (15 min fast paced ride there! He was funny, helpful, courteous, but still adhered to safety regs... Definitely recommend you request him. We were allowed to speed around the area (huge area in the bay) as much as we wanted for almost an hour before heading back. The whole thing was great. Time went slow... Didn't feel like it had been an hour... Defiantly recommend this place over other rental places further inland. They don't have the location to get you to open spaces fast enough. read more

Inlet Seadoos had the best prices in the area for regular wave runner rental. We reserved our wave runners at 9:30 to take advantage of the rent one and get one at half off. The company also offered deals if you combined parasailing and wave runner rentals. The wave runners we rented were brand new. We were told they are replaced at the end of each season. Each wave runner could seat three people. The staff was very friendly during the reservation and the wave runner guides led us on a fast tour before cutting us loose for some free riding. .Instructors did not explain jet ski operation very well. It seems they took for granted that everybody already knew what they were doing. They had an instructor in training and it seemed more like a lesson for him than everyone else. We got left behind and were not paid attention to. We were supposed to follow each other in a straight line until we got to the ski area but no one did and no one was instructed to. There was virtually no guidance and we barely had enough time to enjoy the ride. We were lost from the group along with 2 other jet skis and had to figure out our way back. Terrible guidance is all I can say. I still can't believe that I actually wasted my money on that. I'm glad I didn't tip them at the end. If I were staying in OC longer I would've demanded a free ride. I was, however, mostly just happy to be out of there. I loved that they were very friendly and made sure to inform us of guidelines and boundaries before letting us roam to our own leasures.
