Each jet ski has a compartment for personal belongings. It can probably fit a whole book bag in there. However, I checked a couple different skis and they all had water in them. Not much but enough to dampen your belongings. My black book bag came out grainy from the salt residue that was left behind from the previous riders. The ride experience was like any other company. The guides take you out to a specific area, let you know where the boundaries are, and let you ride freely until your time is up. My husband lost his hat and sunglasses to the wind so don't wear anything you don't wanna lose. Lol. For those who have never been jet skiing, you will get soaked. I would also recommend wearing some cheap sunglasses to help with the splashing of salt water. The guides also work for tips so make sure take a little cash with you. They greatly appreciate it!! They also have a seafood restaurant attached to the check-in/docking area. We didn't get to eat there cause we didn't have reservations but we know for next time.

We were the only family of color on the boat, and I couldn't help but notice a pattern in how the host interacted with the passengers. Each time he came around with the sea creatures, he passed over my family and went directly to the White families. Their children were given the opportunity to hold, touch, and see the animals up close, while my family was skipped. The first time it happened, I spoke up and said, "Hey, my kids would like to hold them too," and only then did he come back to us. The second time, I intentionally stayed quiet to see if it would happen again--and it did. Once again, my family was passed over. My daughter was especially upset because she didn't get the same opportunity to participate as the other children. I can't say for certain why we were treated differently, but based on what I personally observed, it left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. No family should leave an experience feeling that way. I've attached a photo of the host from our excursion. If you're a family of color considering Assateague Adventure, I wanted to share my experience so you can make an informed decision. We took 800 Ft , which was for 79$ .. generally they take 2 or 3 people in a parasail ride . Nice and customer friendly . They take you in a boat and it takes about 2 hours to finish the ride and come back . One of our kids didn't want to parasail and they charged 25$ for him to come with us . I wish they let him free because he was less than 9 years and he sat on our lap. Parking was a bit messy ... Overall a good experience ... 4 stars !

Not once did him or his staff make us feel pressured or pushed into anything we didn't want. When I felt it was time, January 8th 2020 they made the process streamlined and easy. I'm bad with names but the woman at the front desk was exceptional with us, Andrew who prepped the boat and walked us through thoroughly on every detail from maintenance to everyday use. They made sure we had everything to drop the boat in that day and it was tempting with the weather almost being 70* in January. I would 100% recommend anyone to them for business, I intend to use them for all my jet boating needs and any future purchases.
