Tom let me know he had a class that started two weeks ago but that I can come participate and watch and can decide if I wanted to join. I came late and I stood behind away from every dog because my dog was very fearful and reactive, barking at everyone. Tom let me start that day and told me I could be continue to come and would be added to the next cohort at the end of the month, he gave me those extra weeks without charging me extra. I have been going every session since 1/8 M-Th and my dog is doing very well she is less reactive and is finding a purpose. She gets excited to go because she puts her collar, leash, and jumps in the car. I also found out a lot of her reactivity and fear was because I was scared and she was feeding from my energy and also that she just wanted to play with the other dogs, I have learned how to read her body language she is progressing very well. He lets you come as many times as you want to his other basic classes to help you master your skills with your dog. The more you go the better and more confident you both become.

Our pug Boba, who is 6 years old, had a huge issue with barking and reactivity. Before training, anytime there was a loud noise, another dog, or even a person just a few feet away from us, he would immediately start barking and getting worked up to the point where he would do that pug scream, and no amount of reassuring would help. Walks were stressful and we constantly felt on edge trying to manage his reactions. Working with Yasin made such a difference. He was incredibly patient and really took the time to explain why Boba was reacting the way he was and what we could do about it. Instead of just trying to stop the barking in the moment, he helped us understand how to work through the behavior step by step. Everything he taught us felt realistic and doable in everyday life, which made it so much easier to actually stick with. One of the biggest moments for us was when we took Boba and his sister with us on a trip to Joshua Tree. Before training, something like that would have been stressful and probably not even enjoyable. But because of everything we learned from Yasin, it ended up being such a pleasant vacation. At one point we even stood and ate at a restaurant for almost two hours with multiple dogs around us, some of them were even reactive, and Boba was such a model citizen the entire time. It honestly felt amazing to see the difference. Because of Yasin's training, we actually feel confident bringing our dogs on vacations now, which is something we never thought we'd be able to do. Boba is a completely different dog in the best way possible, and we also feel so much more confident as owners because we now have the tools to handle situations that used to feel overwhelming. Roel took Bumi in and was so patient with Bumi, he and his team really worked wonders with Bumi. From when we adopted him to now, it's a night and day change. Nala is 11, very smart, independent, and has a strong protective streak, so she is not an easy dog to work with. Before training she was reactive toward other dogs/people/cars/bikes, selective with recall, and tended to make her own choices in stressful situations. I honestly did not expect much change at her age, but Julie proved me wrong. During the board and train, Nala became much more neutral around dogs, her recall improved, and she learned how to work calmly and confidently on the e collar. What I really appreciate is that Julie did not try to change who Nala is. She clearly understands complex, sensitive, very smart dogs and tailored the training to fit Nala instead of forcing a one size fits all method. Nala came home calmer, more responsive, more confident, and overall much easier to handle. Julie also spent a lot of time teaching me and my partner exactly what to do at home so we could keep the progress going. I left a voicemail and placed a few calls over the course of a couple weeks, and not a single one was returned. If this is how they handle inquiries, I can only imagine how unreliable they might be when it comes to actual training sessions. I would strongly urge the owner to not market your services on Yelp if you don't have a good intake process for handling inbound calls for potential clients to eliminate bad reviews on the poor communication and lack of professionalism in getting back to someone!

I hired this company…read morewith one goal in mind and the person that came out (I think he was the owner) had convinced me that he could do what I asked of him for my dog Bogey. At the time I hired this company for training, Bogey was 16 months old. I'm not expecting Bogey to be Lassie or anything close, and I'm not blaming the trainer or any of his employees for Bogey's behavior.  A little bit of background on Bogey. He was traumatized by someone when he was 6 months old while at a doggie day care.  Bogey and my son-in-law, who my dog used to get along great with, changed after the incident at the day care. My daughter and son-in-law were there to watch the presentation for the training company. The trainer saw Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, obvious signs of fear and apprehension, and convinced us he could change Bogey's behavior. My daughter and I signed up with this company, feeling assured the trainer could change this behavior in Bogey. It was a $2700 investment combined. Due to Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, my main concern was to get help in changing this behavior and stressed this concern with the trainer. Unfortunately the sessions seem to only focus on sitting, staying and placing. Honestly, I became frustrated with them only "training" me on how to teach Bogey how to sit, stay etc and NEVER addressing the reason I hired them. This is what caused me to quit going to there "group lessons". I felt it was truly a waste of my time and apparently not a concern of their's either, having paid $2700 for a lifetime of training. In addition, no effort has been made on their part to reach out to me to find out why I quit going. Now that I am living with my daughter and her family,  Bogey is traumatized throughout the day. When he sees my son-in-law, who works from home, he will hide behind furniture and won't socialize with other family members. This behavior only happens around my son-in-law. Bogey is so fearful he will urinate in the house and has even done so on my granddaughter.  I can't afford to hire another trainer now and am questioning if this company lacks concern for their clients or possibly it's a lack of knowledge on how to properly train a dog with behavioral issues. This has put me in a difficult situation and I now have to decide whether to let this trauma continue daily, not what I want, or find a new home for Bogey, which I also do not want. That's no life for any family member. So if you're looking for someone to teach you how to say "sit", "stay" or "place", this may be the company I would recommend but I feel that they may be limited in their training skills. If you're looking for a company that will follow up with you, you might want to keep looking for someone that cares about results and accomplishments. There were many other things that showed lack of attention on their part but the one thing I was hoping for never was addressed even when I brought it up. They either lack the skill to train out behavior issues or they simply don't care. If you look at their own post on Facebook, their only focused is on sit, stay and come. No mention of training out negative behaviors. No success stories about other training issues.
